Brilliant! simple and it works
Awesome idea! Thanks
You’re welcome!
Thanks for this tip!
Wow that really is perfect. But if you dont have that drill bit, or instead of going through both sides; you use a piece of scrap wood. I learned from an old time woodworker, to put the scrap wood under and drill through both and that helps. But sometimes I still get little bit of tear. What is that drill bit called? Did it come with a set or did you buy it seperate
Ashley McGeary Yes, a piece of scrap wood or even tape can help a lot too! This bit is so clean though, I really like these. I've got several of them that came in a set from Harbor Freight or I've bought them as singles online. I have a link in the description. They're called Fortsner Bits.
Hello! Loved this video! Thanks for sharing. I have a stain question.. did you stain this wood with stain? or is it something else?
Simply Missy you’re welcome! I’m glad you like it! I stained this board with Brairsmoke stain by Varathane.
I have noticed that forstner drill bits makes cleaner holes in wood than regular drill bits, do you think it's true?
Ringeistvonmordor yes, absolutely!
