Saw them a few years ago and the show was a bit slow off the go but holy hell did it end amazing. Because it was slow a bunch of people left and I didn't feel bad for them. They are incredible performers.
Sure, it would be great, and if he had done what he did at another time it might have worked out differently, but they were doing kids music at the time. The only critique I have of it is that it seems scripted, compared to how they used to be back in the day, where it was much more free-form in their improv. You can watch videos from multiple dates on this tour and they have a routine for this part of the set, for the most.
Also, I think that the probably hear that a lot, and I think they might feel like it sort of would invalidate what they have done since he left, like people are saying they need him or something? I'd rather it be a natural thing. Just come back together, feel it out, but don't force it.
Steven made his own bed and agreed that he should lie in it. I don't think their differences are reconcilable at this point. I could be surprised, but I think that Kevin has done a decent job of covering. sure, he can't sing as well as Steven but those are some golden pipes. Steven fucked up. They were doing kid's songs at that point in time. There was no choice.
so fucking good.. proud of my homies
Fantastic show. Worth the 2 year wait!!
They put on a stellar show! Very entertaining! Beautifully captured the band. Marvelous job filming!
I caught them last time they played in Calgary (Aug 2022). It was a great show, had a lot of fun.
I can't believe I just saw the singer become the drummer and tackle the fast drumming of Whip It, and 2 acclaimed GOAT drummers. Kudos!
This was one of my all time favorite live performances I've ever seen, and this was absolutely my favorite part. Thank you for this.
Glad I got your favorite part! It was a lot of fun!
Thank you for this.
LOVE how they distilled Tom Sawyer down to like 90 seconds yet somehow kept all the most important parts!

Saw them last fall, singing not the greatest but the most fun I had in a long time
Great show dude ‼️‼️
I wasn't a BNL going in but I sure was after leaving the show! RUSH and LED ZEPPELIN!!! OOOOh YEAH!!
Awesome group. Missing someone.
nice
Maaan, would love to have been there? Got any more footage from this show?
I didn’t know Ed Robertson was a drummer too ?? He’s got many talents …
13:26. who does Tyler introduce himself as? Who is that person? I don't get why he did that.
Anze Kopitar, a hockey player for the Los Angeles Kings.
If only they knew "Badabooms" was in the audience... 😊
If only they new the biggest ZEBRA fan in the world was there, they may have covered one of their songs ;)
Lacking.
Incredible, but imagine if Steve was back in the band.

Where's Steven Page? He defines being bare and naked.
Ed plays Peart better than he plays Bonham.
I saw them July 9th at Mohegan Sun and they were awful. Gin Blossoms performed much better along with Toad the Wet Sprocket.
You saying BNL sucks?? They sound amazing to me even though Steve fell on hard times with them..
Yawn…..bring back Steven Page

Nowhere near the same, I was a huge fan right back when they started. I wish it was different. SP
