For this combo, setup consists in finding which wing values allow you to take Turn 4 and 6 flat out, basically.
For Turn 6, though, pay attention to the inside kerb: going over it will likely make you spin, so avoid a really tight line approach there.
With Mediums and 30°C track temperature 19s were still doable, so pushing a bit more should definitely bring the time down into the 18s.
As always, have fun!
Great setup, thanks. Just shows how important a good setup is. There is no way you can take those turns flat-out without it
You're welcome! Yep, in cars like this the setup can make a lot of difference.
thanks. Took me down from a 1.23 to a 1.20. Had to add some rear wing though.
same, this guy's spa setup I also had to add some rear wing bc it was easy for me to spin, I guess I have to do the same with this setup in laguna seca
12 rear aero should be fine?
@@szum1kk I was having trouble pushing to the limit without spinning whenever I touched a kerb. I'd probably go faster with less wing now, but I was struggling at the time.
if you can do AMG SLS setup for this track, I would be most appreciate it.
it doesn't have much down force
and
its brakes are outright terrible.
I see you are full throttle down a couple of these 90deg corners, thats amazing!
Dang. I thought my 27 was fast lol. Apparently not. In my defense I used the stock setup. So I'm probably losing a LOT of time. I'll have to try this one out, thank you!
Got sub 24 on stock setup, 23 is doable on it
my friend got 1:22.5 on stock
idk how
Thanks for the vidio and setup👍
You're welcome!
I’m new to sim racing so I’m not sure but why do you break, then accelerate, break, and then accelerate when down shifting in corners?
Hi. That is the automatic-blip intervening.
It mostly helps avoiding loss of traction under braking/when downshifting.
There're some cars in Assetto Corsa that have this feature (like the Tatuus for example), while for other cars you have to apply a technique called heel-and-toe to achieve the same results.
In this article it's explained, better than I can do, how it works and why it's useful:
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heel-and-toe_shifting
And this is probably the best video on the matter: m.ua-cam.com/video/f6yAO1ziQ8o/v-deo.html
Florent 93 this is fantastic, thank you!!
thats a hell of a lap ! actually impossible on my setup, do you know any good servers to play without toxic drivers ?
Thanks!
I rarely play online, but I would suggest giving a look at SRS, Arcis and RedLine communities.
With public servers it's usually a matter of luck.
Wpadaj na beskidzkie ściganie :)
nice lap! do you have the cfg file for the setup?
Yep, here it is: drive.google.com/open?id=1z93GAhbACnU1ifi8ehMC72CUhsfz5H2d
Thanks.
Thx you my time was 1,23 without setup, with your setup my time went to 1,20,500. I play with controller btw
Oh my god, how can you drive with this setup
What’s wrong with it? Feels quite solid and only gets some oversteer when you really really push it. Of course, a fast setup for this type of car has a stiff suspension, so be careful with the kerbs.
best i can do is 1:21.686 but i play with a controller
Spectacular time for a controller. I just got a 1:21.16 on a g27 wheel. Not sure how you controller guys do it.
