Literally do not watch this ok anything worth watching from this will be in the clips
Don't tell us what to do, you're not our real dad!
This is true. Yet I am still watching.
Now I'm going to watch it twice and watch all the clips.
is this why you were hoarse in Timcast a few days ago?
@@swmathus8176 that was from screaming for a freedomtoon
I hope nobody sets themselves on fire 4 hours in
I demand a 24 hour stream and nothing less
I would watch 24 hrs.
Would there be a marathon of guests, like a variety show?
unironically a 24 hour charity stream with a revolving cast of hosts would be awesome
@@TS47YT poor Matt would die.
He could throw someone super controversial in at the 2 a.m. mark just for fun.
@@anzot6903 ...Fr. James Martin? 😂😂
Pints with Aquinas episodes in 2038 will be 48 hours long.
And I will watch every minute lol
I’ll be watching
@@Ladya12345 Absolutely
Lol😂
I’m here for it
My husband can and does fix everything. We have 6 children. Stuff breaks all the time. My husband is a mechanical genius. He always changes oil, brake pads, rotates the tires. He fixes our lawn mower, vacuum Cleaner, blender. Builds chicken coops, teeter totters, tree swings. Seriously, Im very thankful.
Dig it. I'm going to show my sister's boyfriend how to change brakes. I think men need more role models. I love Matt for that.
My husband does to. And honestly we couldn't afford not too. But even if we could he'd still do it lol
This conversation moved me to tears. Thank you thank you. Outside of my father I have no men of faith in my life. That’s why you and what you do are so important.
This was the lowest quality stream you've ever done. I loved every minute of it. Thank you for reading John's superchat.
I love how Matt is just able to casually dial up JIMMY AKIN on a whim and get this WONDEFUL wisdom on how the Church sees comedy
He called Cameron midstream one time too. That's awesome that they're on those terms.
The suicide topic was on point. I think the priest could have stated it delicately but honestly. My husband committed suicide 30 years ago and left 3 children. I won't go into the circumstances. I still have mass said and still pray for his soul and have finally forgiven him. However, I don't kid myself to be confident that he made it. I will also continue prayers and hope that he can still make it to heaven. I believe prayers are never wasted.
God bless you. What a cross that has been to bear. I will pray for you and am encouraged by your faith; such prayer and faith helps others. 🙏 ❤
My mother was a Buddhist and she committed suicide. I struggle with the same thoughts. I dont want her to be apart from God forever, she suffered enough.
@@secretsantaification prayers for you ❤️🙏 we can always hope.
This is a legendary pints episode. We must preserve it for future generations.
5 hours and 20 minutes? Those are rookie numbers, gentlemen. I expect more from all of you. 😂
Michael Knowles managed to beat that on the Whatever podcast. I think he did over 5 and a half hours. Shameful, Seamus. 😂
and,it's not longer than George's session
3 years ago, I was watching a podcast which would often go 6-9 hours. I think they still do a yearly 24 hour stream, but idk.
this is the only podcast I watch start to finish.
I look forward to listening to this overnight while my 1 month old refuses to sleep! Seamus you are fantastic! PWA team keep up the awesome work
No sleep baby crew!
Sending encouragement 👍🏼 my second baby just started sleeping through the night. Wishing that for you soon.
Congratulations on the baby!
Easily the funniest opening minute of any PWA episode.
Why was it funny theres nothing funny about the potato famine that led to the death of 2 million Irish people .
@@opencurtin I know right? And until bout five years ago my people were recognized as having been enslaved. Now these American wokists have rewritten history to say it never happened. The Irish have largely been the whipping boys throughout history and we’ve been used hard and put away wet.
But hey, we’re Irish. After a few more drams I’ll completely forget about it and keep walking down the old road.
Seamus on his love for Christ was wonderfully said, straight from the Holy Spirit what I needed to hear as I’m going through a “dry spell”
Seamus is awesome! Also Thursday had some awesome things to say. I love hearing young conservative men talk about their faith and conservativism. I am a young conservative woman, and this warms my heart.
It really gives me some hope. Lord knows it's rare to find men like that anymore.
Thursday, u can totally have that life! We have 5 kids on a small single income . They all share a small room teh size of most people’s master closets, but hey, we’re making it work! A lot of it is realizing that you don’t need as much as you think you do. A simple life is a frugal life, and usually a virtuous life too!
Don't give specifics online. Tell friends, family, etc in person.
This was actually great. I spent 5 hours today overseeding my lawn and had this rocking the whole time. Well done, fellas! God Bless!
I have chores to do today, Lots of cleaning and you two are gonna get me through it 😅😂 can’t wait to hear you both talk for over 5 hrs 😂😂🙏🏻
Holy S. 5 hours. I'll take your advice and save it for a cleaning sesh

Loved this conversation! I found your channel a few month ago and and I love it. I’m a young adult and I don’t have many people in my life to have conversations with about the faith, so I feel like when I listen to your conversations, it helps me grow in my relationship with our Lord. I’ve been listening to little bits of your show in the morning while I get ready for work. Your show has really helped bring me closer to God and has encouraged me to get to know my faith better. Keep up the good work and may God bless you!
I'm only an hour and a half into this and you've already addressed so many things I've been struggling with over the years. This podcast is a blessing and I appreciate all you have to say. All the best to you and yours
I’m halfway through this interview so far - I love it when Seamus comes on!
I especially enjoyed when Seamus gave advice to the people who want to believe in Christ and his Church but are struggling. I want to convert to Catholicism, but I lack a full understanding/belief in Christ. I keep questioning both myself and God, yet I can see all the goodness of his Church and want to believe in Him and his Church. Please pray for me.
Watched this and listened to this while working around the house and grocery shopping etc. Like having a group of friends with you while doing housework. It makes it so much more enjoyable !
This is the podcast equivalent of pulling an all nighter and I can't believe I watched all of it. You guys have incredible chemistry- a lot of insight and fun!
Seamus talks exactly like my mother years ago and she’s been proved right in so many ways. Seamus must have had great theologians in his life to speak so knowledgably and confidently. He is so young we have years of great interlect and insight to come, gift.! He’s snapping at the ankles of JBP and be a crowd puller. great inspiration for lost young men. So much great material on this one podcast this is a keeper on my phone to play over and over incase I miss anything
The trick is doing something else like working, gardening, house cleaning, etc while listening to a podcast.
I’m embarrassed that considering listening to a 5 hour stream in chunks like I used to read books sounds easier than reading a shorter book. This tells me 1 that my reading ability has atrophied but 2 that listening to you guys is entertaining. You really got me with the potato but at the beginning I thought you were serious!
I started watching 2 months ago when you were live and I just finished now💪
In your face, George!
🤣 great conversations, memes, and effort. Congrats on the long stream.
I’m watching at 1.5x speed, traveling for 3hs to my in-laws…
I most definitely intend to watch it all! Hehehe…
Normally it takes me a couple of days to watch something this long, even at faster speeds, but I always watch it all… It’s a great pleasure!
Sat through the whole thing, thank you 9 hour work shifts. Loved every minute
In your face, George. I watched it over 2 days. Great show!
Very substantive conversation. You hit the nail of the head, Seamus. Christians are misunderstood and we do need to do a better job representing ourselves.
2:36:00 Biggest piece of advice I have is be available and approachable. What I mean is don't misinterpret the man needing to make the first move as meaning that you can't ever initiate conversation. You even see this on Catholic "dating" sites where women won't send the first message (the equivalent of saying "Hi" in the vestibule after Mass) because it's not "traditional." Also, don't run to your car right after Mass and expect a guy you've had you eye on to ever make a move. Hang out in the vestibule/parking lot/etc. stop in to the coffee hour.
"There are so many great ideas trapped in the minds of people without the resources to execute them"
Could we see the end of "great ideas are cheap, it's execution that's valuable"?
In your face. GEORGE!. WE LOVED IT, my husband, and I enjoyed all of it.
I swear when you two come together it's a real treat!
I’m about to finish the whole thing. I’ve been listening to this in the background for days. I don’t know what to do with myself when I’m finished
In your face George! New to PWA and I have to admit I love this channel! The guests and the discussions, it's awesome! I actually finished this over about 4 days. I got through the remaining 2 hours whilst I put my vanity dresser together today. Lol. It was interesting to hear Seamus mention the part about not being so outwardly expressive about his faith at times. I often struggle with that too and I would think "Am I a bad Catholic?" for not being so that way about my faith but it does put me at ease to know that I'm not the only one who deals with those feelings. So thank you.
As far as a conservative Catholic woman letting a man know that she likes him… find out what one of his favorite foods is and bring it to him, desserts are easy to transport so maybe cookies or brownies at first. To be clear, this will work with just about ANY man, not just a conservative Catholic. While it’s not exactly subtle, there’s also absolutely nothing that’s inappropriate or sexually suggestive about it.
2 hours in and immensely enjoying, intend to watch the whole thing, shocked Seamus is not married.
Yes ,especially when he mentioned his father! He seems to be a very well balanced man
I know! He needs a good trad wife😊❤
Woah, I am an hour and a half in and have already decided I will be rewatching. This is good stuff.
Man guys, you did George dirty. Why would you repeat the area code lol. You narrowed it down to 20 million people.
0:24 Bright eyed and full of life
5:06:34 Ready to die.
What a difference in body language 🤣
😂😂😂😂
It would be interesting to know what happened in between
But 5 hours!??
Noooo
@@holdingsteadfast Thursday lit his pants on fire. So you missed that.
@@anzot6903 I’m an hour in and SO ready to find out if this is true 😂😂
God bless you all , and the Jimmy Akin segment is amazing. Again God bless you
On the issue of Libertarianism and Catholicism, I used to be a die-hard Libertarian and I'd still call myself libertarian, but not A Libertarian. My big post-libertarian moment was realising that while the market provides, and supply meets demand in a free market, this says nothing about what the demand is for. Free markets aren't a moral good, they're morally neutral. In terms of efficiency, unregulated markets are inassailable. But they provide negative products as well as positive ones: pornography and medicine, drugs and food.
A free market is the most efficient way to run an economy, but a healthy society needs someone to use force to protect it from subversion and corruption.
"Best case, AI will free people up to do other jobs"
At what point have we "freed enough people up to do other jobs" that women can stay home and be moms again?
I have a two hour fitness routine most mornings. I love the long-form interviews so I can put it on and listen through my whole routine.
I listen from beginning to the end.
Great cast. Thanks, gents
I need to get Seamus to Arizona!
There’s a beautiful, extremely intelligent, sarcastic, funny, charming 24 year old who’s finishing nursing school and bemoaning the lack of funny, sarcastic, faithful, intelligent and handsome young Catholic men.
Ohhhhh what a beautiful beginning for us Timcast Catholics haha
Seamus speaking on atheism and how no liberal or atheist who claims Christ as a teacher but refuses to speak of the lesson of the death and sin no more is just very beautiful
This guy is based. Very insightful. Easily articulating vague ideas that have been floating around my mind. Thanks for proving some clarity :)
31:34 - I agree w/ loud yawners as well as belchers & any chewing sound.
The sneezing in multiples w/ “bless you” story gave me a chuckle. My 14yr old daughter- who isn’t known to have several sneezes in a row like my husband- had a string of a good 25-30 sneezes over about 5mins.
My son (13) was doing some programming thing on scratch on the computer, in his own world, but each and every sneeze he responded to. By about the 25th, his voice was a bit more annoyed/ tired, but he kept on..
It was funny and rather heartwarming
So this is TMI, but I got up to use the restroom whilst listening, and OF COURSE you guys start praying right as I begin. And you were so fast I didn't get a chance to stop it in time.
One of the many reasons to be glad we serve a reasonable and gracious God 😂
In your face George!!
I watched start to finish while gardening!! Loved it!!
I LOVE long form content so keep it up❤
I watched you for four hours, had a lovely time! God bless you, let's see if I'll watch this one whole as well!
Great episode, always good to see Séamus. Safe travels home! George Farmer outdone!
I watched/listened to the entire thing 👍. I did find this episode helpful though as I'm currently trying to grow my faith and it helped me make sense of a few things. Thanks guys!
In your face, George! This was an absolute blast to watch, thanks guys!
"This is what we're reduced to, reading news articles"
That's how Tim Pool does it.
Thursday was in rare form on this one. Seamus, i started watchin Timcast again when i realized it was actually you again and not a potato.
I used to write stick figure comics all the time. Your stuff is so inspiring I want to draw one up again.
Im ao glad you include so many timestamps, as youtube keeps restarting the video... Shamus is the only reason im watching Timcast right now, wish he did more podcasts!
How is Seamus still single? 😂
Oh my goodness. This is better than Rogan. Better than Michael Knowles. Better than Michael Malice. Better than Timcast. I love listening to all these guys but Matt Fradd''s podcast is sooo interesting. Very stimulating and satisfying. Seamus had me hanging on every word.
I don’t know how many days it will take me to watch this but I’ll watch every minute
6 days, in your face George!
As a truck driver with time to kill thanks for this video 😂
I’ve got to pints with aquinas via a small clip from the last time Michael knowles was on. I then wanted to watch the entire episode and I was sold. Now i listen them mostly on spotify while at work (in their entirety) and sometimes I’ll watch via UA-cam, then I watch the entire thing, although mostly not in one go.
I waited to listen to this because 5 hours seemed daunting but, man! What an awesome podcast. I would love to be able to sit around and have these conversations so much value to be gained from talking about faith in this way.
So excited to watch this!
Y’all did this a week too late. Last week I had two 8 hour drives up to Batavia NY for a recording session at Old Bear Records. Could have listened to this several times. It’s gonna take me a week now!
"they will repeat 'love your nieghbor' but they won't repeat 'love the lord your God with all your heart soul and mind'"
this has become super obvious to me. I keep seeing people say things like "you cannot hold to the traditional interpretation, because it violates the great commandment, whicxh is to love your neighbor"
and I keep just thinking, you forgot an important part of that.
After watching throughout the course of 3 days in parts, I've completed listening to this episode
Are there achievements on UA-cam yet? I watched the whole episode.
In your face, George! I loved having your conversation in the background while I knit 😊
"Could I ask an AI to produce a conversation between Matt and Seamus?"
Of course, but you would only get a rehash of what they'd talked about before. Imagine if every Jordan Peterson video you ever watched was 100% a rehash of his psychology lectures. (Instead of 20-40%.)
Funniest opening I've seen so far. And I've seen a lot of these!
"in your face George" :)
I watched and enjoyed it all in one sitting - thanks
Oh my goodness, I would absolutely love to have a conversation with Jimmy Akin like that!!
George Farmer 6 hour extravaganza, I'm here for it!
hey... i just want you to know, one of my favorite things i love about your show is i get to sit in on amazing conversations and just eves drop. I get to do things and listen to meaningful... even silly real ... coversations! so, Please, keep "wasting" my time!
You are informed animals.
Great interview from England.
IN YOUR FACE, GEORGE!!!
(oh my gosh, you madman, Seamus)
the rick impression was under appreciated lol spot on
I have reached the moment where I was instructed to type two specific words in the comments.
I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request Mr. Fradd, but thank you 😂
5 hour 20 minute live stream? That’s not even 5 hours and 21 minutes. Amateur hour!!! 😂
I need a month to finish this, based on the average time it takes for me to finish the 1-2 hours of PWA episodes but I love every bit of it! 😁
I started this podcast with an engine completely torn down and finished it by the time you wrapped up.
Man this guy is the real deal. Always great to see good Catholics doing professional stuff.
Rumble is a joke and I am assuming Seamus saying they don't have a plethora of bugs was also.
I've been watching him, crowder, and rekeita on there for a couple months now and have yet to make it through one entire video without it pausing to load every 2 seconds or just stopping and restarting or just stop working all together.
Had to wait for the chapters
In your face, George!
I can verify I watched/listened to this entire thing! Very good to clean your room to! In your face George!
That moment when 3+ hours into the show they start talking about wrapping up, and you look down at the time bar…..
As Christians, we are called to rejoice but also, we know we are on a battlefield day in and day out while we are here. Therefore, our love for Christ expresses itself through respect, reverence and honour. Just as people would their king. He is our King of Kings and we are called to fight for His kingdom. This looks different each day. It looks like spiritual discipline, it looks like healing our own hearts through and with Christ, so we can be strong, it looks like showing up in our vocations and our relationships. To base our relationship with Him on good feelings is dangerous and automatically fatal. He is our refuge, in which He restores our hope and joy, He blesses us with these deep, sincere emotions, but it doesn’t always look like we imagine it in our finite, fleshly minds. It also is a process in getting to those moments because He is continually strengthening and refining us, which, is very challenging.
In your face George! Took me 3 days but I did watch this all the way through lol
On Day 3 here too. Almost done!
First time hearing about you guys, just started watching. Very funny
"i doubt anyone has listened to this whole thing." Well, in your face George. Now time for you to move house lol
I found it very interesting that Seamus used to think before that if he doesn’t manage to get to confession before he dies, Jesus would know his intentions and his heart and that he would be forgiven. That’s my view too and so it was very interesting to hear that he learned that it’s not given or guaranteed & since then changed his attitude. I know it’s a personal story but it would be so interesting to hear more about it. Very valid point that made me think about it all.
