The Bertheimer family has so much money they could afford to completely change the business model of Chanel. To return it to its pre-eminence they should revert back to being a purely bespoke company, making clothes to order. They should reduce their ten shows to two haute couture runways per year only. On the side stay making accessories for ready-to-wear customers but up the quality considerably. The core of the business should be the prestige of their haute couture-only clothing line. And this would put Chanel's reputation back on top. Mass manufacture for Chanel has resulted in a reputation death spiral. The Bertheimers have enough income from their other luxury houses, they can afford to do this.

Dacob you truly have figured this out for Chanel for some time now and to their detriment they have decided that they are above ALL of us. Shame, instead of looking at us as mere consumers they should be looking at us as a culture that is aware and also discriminate with what they value. As always, a cogent analysis. ✌🏽
The current owners of the brand, which was created by a woman who grew up in an orphanage and worked hard, are busy shitting on it 🤬maybe the Chanel fashion house should no longer belong to the Wertheimer family 🤔
It’s sad because I love Chanel, the bags, the history. I’ve never experienced any quality issues with classic flaps, I think the issues were with the seasonal bags. Now they are a victim of their own demise. Once the bags reached 10K (and even before) people stopped buying. Including myself. It’s is just ridiculous. If they were not so greedy with their approach things would have been better. However, other brands are suffering too, Dior, YSL, Celine. Their price increases also hurt them.
Love Chanel and used to work in their beauty dept. The makeup creativity is not there anymore, the makeup brushes look cheap now. I still love the Fashion portion of and always will, but the price increase ridiculous and they allow all of the employees buy all the accessories before the consumers can't get to them and alot of the employees especially Neiman Marcus have always been snobby whether you buy or not. Customer service sucks.

Those are quite low offers I personally wouldn't go for it
I’ve watched around 30 of your videos as a new subbie and I still can’t pin your accent. My guesses are Italy or South America.
It’s about time, …their latest designs are repetitive , most die hard Chanel fans already have one similar from previous seasons. Everything is getting expensive now , at the end , who will need 30-50 bags in their closet unless u are celebrities or public figures. 😢
why are we paying $10K+ out of pocket, which is money NORMAL PEOPLE don't have, for a boring black chanel bag.
They never should have hired Nair
Love Chanel and used to work in their beauty dept. The makeup creativity is not there anymore, the makeup brushes look cheap now. I still love the Fashion portion of and always will, but the price increase ridiculous and they allow all of the employees buy all the accessories before the consumers can't get to them and alot of the employees especially Neiman Marcus have always been snobby whether you buy or not. Customer service sucks.
I would love to see Christian Siriano take over as the Chanel Creative Director.
We all would love to see him master his hot glue gun on Haute couture pieces 😍💖
Is only the name no longer luxury and not longer design it looks cheap
when you said position denominations my heart sank
What collection will Mr. Blazy officially take credit for? Fall/Winter? Cruise? Love all your information & opinions ❤ I still have faith in Chanel ❤
I guess people needed to pay rent and food
Chanel deserved it. Yeah they up the prices like crazy not just during pandemic but think after that in two years if i am not wrong and now...the grave has been dug for them to go in...😂yes in the name of pandemic, inflation say what ever you want Chanel. Thanks for sharing 🤗
The luxury brands are boring, same old thing.
