Thanks for the lecture, but is there anything else on this topic? literally "forgotten technologies of the ancients," which are almost forgotten in modern games. The closest analogues are Prey 2017 and BG3
Thief 3 didn't actually end up shipping with the guard's able to drop a torch into an oil puddle and catch fire, did it? I don't remember any sort of fire propagation stuff in it like that.
