Katherine was on this list 3 times, and y'all think that she's a horrible person? and didn't get along with her co-stars? And she dropped out of the Emmy's because she felt her character was poorly written and that she didn't deserve it while someone else's did (and it's a valid reason considering how bad her storyline was). Dempsey, Dane, Chambers, and Night were close to her. If she were a man, y'all would act differently and defend her to death. And Shonda still gives Ellen a show actually says a lot about her.

Exactly, Ellen Pompeo is the diva tbh. What happened to Katherine is kind of like what happened to Megan Fox. Any time they call a female actress "difficult to work with" and she stops getting as many roles, ask why that is. Ellen Pompano was the highest paid actress in a drama on 2018 she wasn’t in charge of those decisions and her co stars left the the show BECAUSE she was the highest paid actress that there’s no money to pay them to go back so there’s no way she knew that would happen
Always felt bad for Katherine. Think a lot of what the public was fed was misogynistic and exaggerated. Also ellen pompeo is totally talking about Patrick Dempsey when she explains that the place was toxic for 10 or so years, he was killed off in season 11 and was a dickhead character anyway.
I think the following happened. I remember his screentime was steadily reduced during the season of "John Doe" so people wouldn't notice the lack of screentime in the actual episode. That was what Shonda Rhymes said in an interview. And TR Knight was very public about beingwritten out of storzlines because he was gay, which I think wasn't true, or maybe partially, because the show always seemed very diverse, so I think it was a big misunderstanding in terms of prepared storylines and execution. And now I theorize, because he was publicly annoyed by that and creating a bit of a toxic work envirenment, Shonda Rhymes might just have decided to kill him off instead of him being healed. Or maybe I am completely off and everyone just hates each other.
nope. he wanted LGBTQ representation at the time bc he is gay and wanted George to come out as gay and they said no and it also was bc ppl just treated him poorly and he wasn't having that much screen time so he wanted out.
How is it acting if gay actors have to play gay characters or push to make their characters gay? I remember this being a huge issue with people hiring/working with LGBT people in the past because the fear was that there would be no professionalism and pushing of personal agenda would take over, which is sadly the case now.
How is it acting if straight actors play straight roles or push to play only straight roles an actor is an actor there isn't much wrong with wanting representation and giving ideas for your chracter
How is having a gay or LGBTQ person in a television show or a movie a bad thing? Every person deserves to have representation no matter gender, sexual orientation, race, or anything of the sort. I don’t understand why some straight homophobic people don’t understand the need for representation in television and movies for LGBTQ people. The LGBTQ deserves a chance to be represented, too. It’s not just all about the freaking heterosexual people. Plus no one really pushes their own personal agenda for a character to be LGBTQ writers just happen to choose to write characters as LGBTQ and if anyone did push for their character to be LGBTQ in a television show or movie to be representative of their gender or sexual orientation or be written the way that the actor feels the character should be written in terms of their gender and sexual orientation and the writers chose to give them that platform then it’s actually not a bad thing because it shows that the writers genuinely care about representation and like to take creative input from the actors portraying characters they wrote.
judy10001 I understand where you are coming from although I would say it's more about the person who is right for the role regardless of their sexual orientation. Of course it's great if a person playing a character who is gay also has the knowledge and life experience of how it is to be that but I don't think that should be the only or deciding factor if the producer or director doesn't feel that they aren't the character they envisualize and won't bring to the character that another actor who is straight has given to them in their audition. And the same goes for a guy actor in a straight role. Sadly though it is much more difficult for a lot of gay actors to get straight roles once their sexuality is known
the Katherin knight being fired for lgbt is wrong when she left was character driven, she had lost a heart because of Izzy if she had stayed it would have gone against the principle of her charter who was out for blood and would have been fake.

Seems like we had a few 'Karens' on set. Also a male version of Karen.
Addison my favorite diva and Bailey and Meredith love them
why do I have a feling that hreys anatomy will end with the main cast leaving grey-sloan memorial to pursue their own careers. the ending will be a montage of their lives, old cast included, will be shown as an end to thier stories. and it will happen in season 18
Katherine spits pure facts and I love her.
And still it's being renewed for another season.
So?
So finally, characters are getting killed or leave because they have a feud in real life. That’s why i never really loved this show
Ellen Pompano was the highest paid actress in a drama on 2018 she wasn’t in charge of those decisions and her co stars left the the show BECAUSE she was the highest paid actress that there’s no money to pay them to go back so there’s no way she knew that would happen
3:10 - No one should ever feel compelled to give up their freedom of speech!
Ellen gonna be humbled real soon when no one watches her new shows
Ellen seems to be a genuinely just bad person…
i've just started binge watching the show and Meredith is INSUFFERABLE! she was a constant Debbie Downer and ALWAYS COMPLAINING! OMG
I miss George
One of my friends knows Ellen's cousin and apparently she heard that she's HORRIBLE irl
I loved Katherine hair in S6
I remember katherine heigl from THAT NIGHT with juliette lewis and eliza dushku
5:31 mcsteamy you can't just do that
So then I'm guessing Knight was a shitty cast mate considering how his character was written off?
TR Knight is not a shitty cast mate
I never said he was, but considering how Knight & Dempseys characters died in horrific car accidents, it makes you wonder
nope. he wanted LGBTQ representation at the time bc he is gay and wanted George to come out as gay and they said no and it also was bc ppl just treated him poorly and he wasn't having that much screen time so he wanted out.
@@isabellaeilish879 facts and it didn’t help him that Isaiah Washington said things that are offending
I’m sorry what? So if straight people play straight people it isn’t acting? Oh my god …
What about Chyler and Patrick they had horrific deaths yet they are reportedly lovely people.
Debo aprender inglés. 😭
Am I the only one besides abc executives that hated Erica Hahn?
I Need this Ep in Spanish please!
the Katherin knight being fired for lgbt is wrong when she left was character driven, she had lost a heart because of Izzy if she had stayed it would have gone against the principle of her charter who was out for blood and would have been fake.
I don't know after o'malley Die I'm not interested anymore for this show, even in season 5 oh my god he's not got spotlight in every episode
i clicked so fast
To watch about a shitty show
@@fightingchicken2009 ur entitled to ur opinion! i like season 1-9 but i’m not a huge fan of the others
Just want to say problematic yeah that's pretty much describes Ellen Pompeo. Like how is she the most problematic out of everyone in Grey's Anatomy even Isaiah Washington the same guy that I called out to saying that homophobic slur and I really dislike don't have that many entries in the list then our main protagonist play by Ellen Pompeo someone please explain. Can someone please explain why the main protagonist actress Ellen pompeo is causing more problems than I don't know the Creator shonda Rhimes. Well, I'm still going to finish Grey's Anatomy because I just I need to finish it before I lose more my brain cells.
I think the name Ellen translate to problematical
Sorry... but this is wack. Uplift the superb performances and insightful emotional writing, not the BS that NONE of us will ever have the absolute truth of.
ew dr. burke is ugly
Ita not an accurate representation of real life. DUH! It's a frickin TV show
Even before the homophobic slur on the Golden globes he was fighting with Mcdreamy. Yeah I changed my mind let's just say Isaiah Washington is a very bad person Grey's Anatomy you cannot make me say that wrong.
Did anyone really care that TR Night is gay? No. People cared that TR Night is a terrible actor. Good riddance. Luckily, I've personally never seen him in another movie/TV show. And I like it that way.
Lol you didn’t think he was good? 🤣🤣🤣
AYO respectfully disagree
I hated his character 😭😭
I’m done with all of this PC correct shot!!
I am not a fan of the show so I have no opinion of this show
Who cares?
