Capcom Releasing "Multiple Major Titles", Protodroid DeLTA Lands on Kickstarter, & Fan Games Galore!

- We have been busy covering Rockman X DiVE as of late, but now it is time to play catch-up with everything else! Let's check in with Capcom's plans for the upcoming year, the current financial situation for the Mega Man franchise, the new Mega Man X inspired 3D platformer Protodroid DeLTA that is now on Kickstarter, Mega Man Battle Network community developments, and a ton of upcoming Mega Man fan game content to look forward to!

I'm dying for a Mega Man Battle Network Collection on consoles.
Bro.
That would be LEGENDARY
Preferably with all of the Japanese exclusive content, although I still wish we got one more Star Force game.
With Star force too god it would be so fucking awesome q_q
That would be the next logical step. We have Classic, X, Zero (Which was already a GBA game), and Legends only has 2 or 3 games depending on how you count them, which is not enough for a collection. That means the only series worth remastering now is Battle Network. Maybe they'll release a mini collection with Legends at some point, but I doubt it'll be as big as the other 3 collections we've gotten so far.
There two things I want:
-Mega Man X9
-Mega Man Legends 3, one can dream of this one...
Star force 4 too ever since they announced that it was going to be a thing

Legends 3 has to happen first and I think we all know why
I'm simple guy, just give me Mega Man 12 with Proto Man and Bass! Roll is good too if she whacks enemies with broomstick (probably how she attacks in X Dive or just like Powered up), but I defininitely hope we could play with mutliple chars!

Seriously, Capcom probably just lets fans do the work for them... for free! Prequel/Sequel, Remake, Map Maker, you name it O_O

We need remasters of Battle Network and Star Force on consoles. Star Force will be a little more difficult because of how much it relied on the touchscreen. But it's still possible. They could at least give us a new RPG chip battle series.
Yeah I wonder how they would do star force with the touch screen mechanics, like the chip selection is easy just use the controller to select them but I remember being able to teleport to certain warp points from anywhere by touching the warp point as long as the warp point was on screen
@@LeMuDX They could just set it so you press a button to make a cursor come up. You move the cursor to the warp point and activate it using the A button or something. Some boss comps relied on the touch screen too. But I think they could switch that to quick time events with buttons. I don't think it would be too hard. Maybe it's a little difficult but it's possible.
Hopefully you'll continue to cover Protoroid. Should be exciting
I would still support getting a Megaman/BN crossover. I think that could be fascinating if at least me might end up getting Crossfusion in a game. (I mean explaining the plot shouldn’t be that hard... just make it that Regal or Nebula Gray or something found about the original timeline and went there to corrupt the timeline and conquer it or something.)

Fuck yeah! I want C.F Chaud in there! Or at least ProtoMan.Exe. I mean, it makes sense to have a NetNavi in there. They are beings of data after all, and this game revolves around errors and restoring corrupted data. And Chaud and Proto are Officials, and Chaud's known as the Ace Netbattler, so they'd be sent to investigate. Their reasoning for coming would be that it's affecting the Net. Causing things like Navis that are supposed to be deleted to revive, others going missing or getting sick, or outright being deleted out of nowhere. The Life Virus would probably be the boss, or maybe Nebula Gray.
If Corrupted comes this year I will remember the Community memes about the game releasing when we die

I actually got into the X series through 8. If they merged X4 and X8s collective pros and ditched boths cons. It could be the best in the X series then.
Hey what about 3d third person view in x9 like x7? 😂 cz x7 was the worst but imagine, 3d movement with flashy combat, all classic things, weapons and skills from previous games and kind of like hack n slash but Megaman X way? Well... I just want another edgier game that's it.

Woah, my jaw dropped with that Mega Man ZX fangame announcement! I'm really enjoying so far how April Fools' Day is getting a different meaning to Mega Man-related stuff lately, really nice, hehe.
It's truly a great time to be a Mega Man fan. We have some official games and some licensed products coming out, Rockman X DiVE with a lot of interesting updates, and the fanbase is getting more and more active as time passes. Now we have both official and fanmade interesting games to look foward to!
A new attempt at a 3D MMX style game? You've got my vote. I believe in supporting more attempts at bringing traditionally 2D action games into 3D. It's why 128bit is my favorite.

The only things I want are Mega Man 12 and X9, but please in the quality of 4-11, X1-X6 and with good music (1-10, X1 [11 and X2-X8 music was ok, but just OK and not as great as the others]).

We need Legends 3. Sucks to know the last game chronologically has a great story but rough cliffhanger.
Tbf as someone whos first exposure to megaman was the legends series(all three games, Misadventures as well), what they were doing for legends 3 before it got cancelled looked bad.
I want legends 3 where the tutorial level/mission is getting back off the moon but the special weapon you had broke in the final fight of 2. I dont want to be anyone but volnutt.

he could access certain areas in ruins that Volnutt could not - it also could've added more variety to the gameplay, as Barrett looked like he was a more combative

I'm wary of Kickstarter funded games after Mighty No.9.
Not all Kickstarter games are bad. Look at Shovel Knight - that was a Kickstarter funded game too, and it came out to be an amazing game!
Honestly, Mighty No. 9 wasn't even that bad.
A) Mighty No. 9 was shooting for the moon by trying to release on 10 different ports. Protodroid DeLTA is focusing on just PC and Switch. Initially there were other ports in stretch goal planning, but then the developer dropped them to focus on the core game first.
B) PDroid D only kicked for $20,000 (which it already hit). That aside, I wish it could make it's $50,000 goal cause then there would be an OST pack by freaking SHINJI HOSOE!
C) We already know this develop can do the job. He released two demos for SAGE 19: Mega Man Legends 1.5 and X & Zero Training Missions.

10 years on the hype for Corrupted, and this project in special, the more time goes on it, the most badass it gets! Im absolutrly friggin excited for it.
I'm waiting for the rest of the Onimusha games remastered. Also, it'd be nice to get a Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection along with Mega Man Legends 3. It would be nice to get a remaster of Mega Man X Command Mission and maybe a Mega Man X9.
Capcom could also do a Marvel vs. Capcom Collection along with a Marvel vs. Capcom 4.
