If I had one I would probably inadvertently do a power slide just as you have done. You need to take this somewhere where there is just a long stretch of road and no cars to enjoy the speed. Great review 👍

Haven't got around to using mine much i prefer to go out later at night as i live on a main road and its just busy all the time. Lately been nothing but rain and wind and im always too tired to be bothered going out by the time its stopped raining

Der hvor jeg købte det er de gået konkurs.
Det står til at kunne køre 45 km, jeg har nok fået det op på 41 lige strækning (men er rigeligt) for mig, jeg vil heller ikke vække opsigt iforhold til politiet, her har jeg ingen problemer haft, har mødt dem en del gange.
Baglygten, sidder dumt med ledninger, så den gik hurtigt i stykker, har bare en alm lygte på, men en ny kan sagtens købes.
Svejning nederst ved styret er gået, kunne sagtens svejes igen, så det holder.
Jeg har skiftet batteriet 2 gange, hvor jeg den sidste har valgt, at få det rep istedetfor, kan helt klart anbefales istedetfor, at købe et nyt.
Jeg har skiftet dæk, motor, batteri, display, det er super nemt og ligetil.
Jeg syntes du får meget løbehjul for pengene.
Jeg køre på det hverdag 26 km i al slags vejr, sol, regn, vind og sne, det er ikke noget problem.
Nogle gange kunne jeg godt ønske mig lidt mere fart, men sådan er det altid.
Hov- så skal man ofte skifte bremse klodser, men det er klart når du køre med ca 35 km i timen.

Jeg har en anden, hvor jeg har købt lidt reservedele hos, ham vil jeg varmt anbefale og nok her jeg ville vælge at købe det

@@bigriverboater I'll take a look next time I'm in the shed. In the meantime though there's a video where a guy goes through the settings of his t4 scooter which is like a rebranded version of this one. Should be the same.

@@VRCauldron thanks. The video you are referring to is for a 600 watt battery as opposed to a 500 watt (I copied his settings and that’s when the problems started). I have asked both the retailer and manufacturer for the default settings but they are unable to help
Cool! I’d go stop speed if I had one. Going uphill and downhill with a blast at that speed. I wouldn’t attempt going over any bumps! Scary! lol…going to order now!

I would really love to try this out here (Budapest, Hungary), how its suspension behaves on crappy roads and sidewalks.
It's so much nicer than no suspension. Air filled tires helps too.
I'm more of a BMX bike person, but I like scooters as well.
Putting of these into full power mode, that's about as much of a stunt as I would ever do on one of these. Upping it to 1000W sounds absolutely crazy - and yes, I would love to see it. 😆

I have a Smartgyro Rockway with similar specs and the top speed on flat sometimes is 29mph as well. But it has to be a really nice day without much wind and a little warm like 75 degrees F. (Sorry for European users, I'm american.)
Just brought one of these the other day and absolutely love it best escooter I've had so far still need to fine tune it to get it past 20mph but shouldn't be difficult 👍

@@HW07449 it all depends on what your settings are at. I did see a video where someone disconnected a wire from inside it but not brave enough to try that yet as don't want to disconnect the wrong one lol

Can you ride these e scooters on pavement legally?
Might be better off testing the speed with a mobile app or other method as I found the S866 controller when set to miles instead of KM under recorded by quite a bit at least when it comes to distances on my ebike. Seemed like it was working miles out at 2km = 1mile compared to every other device and app that tracked my distance. Handy for ignorance if the speed is faster than shown though :P
I have a gps app so I'll give it a go. The speed felt about right tbh though

I think I would love to do a wheelie trick but I would keep going and trying til I broke the world record. Now that’s something that would be crazy and bragging rights for this DAD forever I’m not the best e-scooter rider by far but I try to show my young daughters that dad can still be athletic. Now this would be a story my kids would love to brag about in their school.

The stunt id like to pull on an e scooter would be a wheelie of some kind, never done one before on any vehicle and for some reason i think this is the easiest
I got mine yesterday. Speed seems to top out at between 23-24mph nowhere near the advertised 28 .i weigh 80kg so that cant be the reason. Any ideas to eek a bit more speed out of it?
If I had one, I would try to get to full speed and do a massive powerslide.

1. Can you show how to fit a higher non-original AH battery bought off aliexpress in the scooter and to its battery connector, are most scooter batteries interchangeable at the connector level? 2. Can you show if it is easy to take out the battery to charge at home with portable small dc charger outside the scooter (i live several floors up without elevator)?
Changing the battery is not hard but be aware jigger voltage will result in higher wear on parts ah hours will not.
Charging at home just battery us available but invest in good balance charger as can be dangerous if charge without battery management unit.

I was really interested in this, but unfortunately this model isn't offered in the US. I ended up going with the Kugoo Kirin M4 Pro instead which is very comparable specs wise and has a 16ah battery. I found I wasn't very comfortable riding standing up so I installed the included saddle kit and I'm absolutely loving it. FWIW your initial scooter video was what first got me thinking of getting one of these. I need to take it to a quiet park sometime and practice riding it upright, but for now I'm happy using the saddle :) BTW, can you post the link to your e-vehicle channel? I'm in the market for an e-bike for my wife so we can go riding together :) (edit: never mind, I found it)

@@VRCauldron A lot's happened in 4 months lol! I ended up upgrading to a Nanrobot D+. I live in a very hilly area and the Kugoo just didn't have enough power to get my heavy ass up the local hills. The Nanrobot has dual 1000W motors and considerably more range, so I'm loving it. I kept the Kugoo and converted it back to a stand-up scooter (I'm much more comfortable standing now after some practice) and still use it for trail riding and such as it's much smaller and lighter to throw in the back of the SUV.

The back wheel hub has cracked how do I get it off and how do I get the wire put I have the back wheel off only but the wire is still connected

I have this scooter and recently just cut out on me no power and wouldn't come back on but if push to certain speed and push power button came on but no power still to go and horn buts lights etc worked when on and being pushed and if dont keep pushing cuts off again any ideas to what could be the problem

They can send things pretty quickly. I doubt they'll come pick things up though. You'd probably have to arrange a courier if you ever needed to send something back. However I've heard someone simply got sent another scooter when there's was faulty.,

Please can you tell me I have a Problem with the throttle control not sure what to do with it was it the same problem that you had yourself biggest problem I’ve got I was going to send it back and then I found out that it was gonna cost me more through Amazon to send it back please advise on what you would do yourself everything charged up lights on but using the throttle it would not start straightaway do I need to push along before it starts not tried that yet But I was told by a post office staff that this might work Please advise many thanks Brian in Manchester

Hi @VRCauldron i took delivery of one of these today and i must say I'm rather disappointed as its doesn't even work, i have what appears to be the same problem you had where you have no power\throttle at all, yes its fully charged and all the other electrics work... Have you any idea what i can do, the only method of support i have is via US west coast number but in your vid you talk about a german based support?
Really gutted and shocked about how bad the support has been....

@@VRCauldron The current One has 800W, I saw the ix6 too but that hasn't turn signals..here in Italy in 2024 are obligatory.. the things important for me, however, are the autonomy and reliability of the battery and external materials.. any Infos about that after sundry km? Thanks!!
I love the idea of these, but taking them on anything worse than a gravel road sounds terrifying to me, those little wheels don't inspire confidence.
Yeah 10 inch wheels don't like big rocks or pot holes
@@VRCauldron I don't think I'd take anything smaller than 20 inches through dirt and mud. Though, that might be my former BMX rider bias showing through haha.
I could imagine going out for lunch with the wife on a couple of these. Is there anywhere to put thru a padlock or chain?
I've thought about this myself too. There's no 'holes' you could put a chain through. I imagined wrapping it around the neck and pulling it tight up against the thing it's being chained too. Not sure how comfortable I'd feel about that though since it doesn't have a key ignition.
Tbh you could fit it under your table if going out to pub/cafe
@@VRCauldron what about a short chain at the front of the board just before the gooseneck? A longer chain could be run through it to attach the scooter to a bike rack. 🤷♂️
@@whittle_with_rik ideally, yes. It’d have to be the right table though. Especially a full table. We squeeze 7 at a booth. No room for scooters under that sucker. 😂

Mine arrived today ordered it on ali express, having major issues.
My first ride in liverpool and Sometimes it was working, sometimes it was not, I went into the p settings to take of the speed limiter and now when the lights are on its not working and when there off its working (speed is also still limited) could someone please help and list the all the correct p settings 0 all the way to 9, would be so much appreciated as I think I tampered with them too much : (
Is this problem fixed? I ordered mine also from AliExpress en it doesn't load.. I contacted the shipper and now waiting for an answer
@@thibevanesch1338 yes no issues now, i resolved this myself, just do not mess the settings too much, if you do reset back to factory settings, if you want speed limiter to be removed you have to detach 1 wire
@@offbeatsounds3619 I only changed the settings for the speed limit and yes I did that. But if I charge de lamp blinks green and he doesn't load.. after 8 hours of loading stil 1 bar. I hope that the seller contacts me tomorrow

what range were u getting on average with this scooter as i will need to go 12.8 miles ( back and forth ) and i am worried it may not be able to do this at max speed
85 kg ...i go on full power 18 km there.. therefore charged to full...a 18 km back.
I got mine few days ago i rode 15 miles pretty much at 24mph the whole time and had 1 bar of battery left. I weight 12stone ish
