On their last public engagement before separation, sullen Princess Diana with a cold Prince Charles stand for God Save the Queen at the Dominion Theatre, London, England, UK on the 7th of December 1992. They were given three cheers by the cast at the end of the show. Hip hip hooray! But their marriage was falling apart and that was very obvious by the look on their faces.
I'm still heartbroken over her untimely passing. She had such elegance and grace. Bless Diana's sweet soul.

She had no elegance. She had poise, a certain beauty and was extremely photogenic. What she had was glamour, star quality. All of which have ZERO to do with elegance. You can't have it both ways. Royals don't need or have to be glamorous or beautiful, that belongs in the fashion/TV/movie world, not in royalty. Camilla is indeed elegant in an unassuming, unaffected, understated way. She tipifies British upper class in a way Diana never could.

If you are not ready for the better and for the worse vows you make, don't go in to mess up your life or someone's life. Happy with joy when you introduced each of your precious babies the day they were born Wept when you were saying farewell to family and the Commonwealth followed by your sons, brother & Prince Charles. The press, paparazzi and media had created a bad situation and I really don't think Charles or Diana knew how much damage was being done to their relationship by those driving forces. They tend to tell A story their ideology prefers shaping, rather than THE story based on ethical journalism. She was always having a falling out with someone. Her own family wanted nothing to do with her brother Charles Spencer refused to have her live at Althrope (post-divorce) because she would make a spectical with calling the Media everytime she went out.
She was cruel and rude to Charles anytime a camera was on, fake falling asleep, fainting spells, making faces behind his back, contradicting him,etc...and even more uncontrolled and violent when in private.( yes, Charles was a victim of domestic abuse)
She would hit him over the head with hardcover books during his evening prayers, insult, demean, say he wasn't fit to be King and contradict him just because.....and it didn't stop with him.
She boasted how she shoved her Stepmother down a flight of stairs.
She would send just inappropriate cards and pictures to her Children at School. For Williams' 13th Birthday she had a cake made in the shape of women's breasts, then invited a bunch of people over just to witness his reaction.
Any man she got involved with couldn't run away from her fast enough. If they dare leave, she'd prank call the wife. One so much so, Scotland Yard was called in to investigate. When they questioned her, she blamed WILLIAM! (Nice mother). The summer of her death, both boys opted to stay with their Father because she was making a spectical of herself. They didn't want to be around her at all.(-possibly where some guilt comes in)
That is just a short summary of horrible,mean, spiteful things she did.

You gotta hand it to the Brits they really know how to do Pomp and celebrate the Royals in such a grand way. I'm a proud Australian, the Queen is our Queen too and I love Her. I loved Diana and was so sad and still feel it was such a shocking loss. But now here we are in 2021 and William is really stepping up to his Royal duties in such a powerful way. I think he will end up being the most loved King ever!
I am so glad I am not a working member of the royal family; it would do my mental health in: always having a schedule, always having to smile, hear the same welcoming songs. Though I like meeting people and getting to know them, it would be tiring to have to guide conversations with strangers every day. As an "ordinary" person, if I don't feel 100% like I want to attend something I was invited to, I can always cancel. Royals cannot.

Truth is, Diana would never have been happy as queen, having to choose duty over all else as HRM has all these years, or even married to Charles as he would always have to choose duty over her and the kids. Had Charles left her alone, she would have made someone a wonderful, happy wife and mother and she would be living her best life right now. The flip side is she accomplished so much in her years after Charles, would all of that have happened without her influence and using the media's focus on her to bring those issues to the forefront. We are all put on this earth for a reason. Perhaps she was only meant to be here a short time. Maybe she did what she was put here to do. I think her time spent with Peter Settelen, helped her find her voice and gave her a confidence that the Royal Family had been determined to squash. She wanted what all of us want, a home, a family and to be loved and respected. Deep down she was always craving the love and approval she never got growing up. She certainly didn't get that married to Charles. While she will always be greatly missed, she made a huge impact on this world and will be remembered forever. How many of us can say that?

I believe she has made King Charles very happy this last decade, more than he ever was in his life. It was sad as a young man he felt obligated to marry a woman he did not love, however, when that marriage fell apart, he treated with Princess Di with respect and honor in every way he could. He was always in love with Camilla, everyone knows it now.
I do not know why people insist that he and Diana could have ever been a happy couple. Frankly, she knew about it and if I recall right, gave HIM quite a hard time, publicly.
I don't blame her, she was a young girl in a system that had only recently allowed her to get a divorce from the man she married.
I think QC Camilla has been given a raw deal by the public, the harshness and cruel jokes are relentless. She never pretended to be anything other than what she was, a woman in love with Charles.
Both women are class acts. QC Camilla has shown to be a loyal wife and supporter of his Royal duties and has done everything she could to support his sons.

Many people blame it on the Queen’s emotional distance as a mother, but Rose Kennedy was an emotionally negligent mother too. She was bulimic & the behaviours of bulimics can be really difficult to live with. She would scream at Charles through the night, to stop him sleeping. She threw herself down the stairs whilst pregnant. What on earth must a husband feel about the fact she tried to kill herself & his baby? Diana pushed her own Stepmother down a flight of stairs, because she thought Raine hadn't been 'attentive enough' to her birth Mother, Mrs Shand Kydd. The very same birth Mother that called Diana a whore for dating a Muslim Man. Perhaps Raine could see that Mrs Shand Kydd wasn't a very nice person. Did Raine deserve to be almost killed? Even Diana's friends were dropped, if they did the slightest thing to disappoint her. So don't be so quick to judge Charles, when it wasn't how you think it was.

Something about that whole institution destroyed her but she came out stronger and victorious. The whole world admired and loved her. And then tragically she died. Don't sully her name. No one is perfect but she was as close as it comes.
