One good thing for panniers or top boxes is compression cubes. Not the ones that need a pump…but the ones with a double zip. I’ve just got some, tried them out before I need to pack my bag and I can get loads more stuff in the one bag. I got the Bagsmart ones, good quality and perfect size for your top box.
Great advice in the comments, especially cheap or old clothes. I tape or cable tie onto the bike spare cables, keys, bulbs and fuzes and always take a map and basic spares and tools. Everything else can be bought day to day and if stopping for a few days bought cheaply and left behind or if heading to a pre-cooked destination posted ahead.
Some good tips there bud , I've done this before went to Primark and got T-shirts for about £2 each , now just just take Quick dry stuff quick rinse when I have a shower place in towel roll up to get rid of the excess water then they are dry by the morning bingo 😁only need a few items of each.
Good idea with the throw away stuff! Gonna try the same this summer. Keeping the weight down keeps the fuel consumption down which is kinder to ya wallet. I'm a biker with ££s or Euros in my pocket, that are worth just as much as the next non-biker's, so I too, take no Sunday clothing. If a Restaurant or whatever doesn't want my money coz of my dress, then sod 'em, their loss! Another good video, thx.
Great video, always interesting how some one packs, I use 3 Rohan t shirts, underwear and socks, they breath and are anti odour , they are brilliant, I take a small amount of Nikwax base wash and wash every couple of nights, their stuff is very good, but a bit pricey.I stay in Hotels so no need for camping stuff. Keep up the brilliant content.
Being on my own I take a change of socks and underwear just in case I get wet and a couple of spare tops, that did me for a 14 day ride down to Barcelona in January. I didn't camp then so it was easy, a 30L back box and throwover panniers, washed everything when I got back. I did treat myself to a bath half way round 😄 I like the idea about the bag in the back box, I took the back box in with me 👍
I have no idea 🙈 we just launch it. I is think the licence you hold in uk may be valid across Europe but not 100% sure. We did find out after coming home that you are not supposed to fly over historical or memorials!!! and we did.
Hey, not so fast m8. Everybody is posting on Sundays, I can't keep up with ya'll Not yet got to the one you posted 23 hours ago! And to add to all this Sunday Stress, there was Football that had to be watched as well !!
My mate could do a fortnight on 2 pairs of everything 😄 one question we going Interlaken in June and was wondering about cash, is it wise to take any Euro CF etc or is cards ok cheers
i normally take 40 or so euros, then a Caxton pre-loaded card with euros on it for emergencies , and a Halifax Clarity Credit card for petrol and food etc. covers all bases then.
Nice mukka some great equipment and ideas for people
I just take my misses on the back and she just washes all our clothes then swap every other day 😜👍
I thought you were going to say you just left her at the Hotel.....
@@davidz8 🤣

Thanks for the great video.
7 sets of pants and T shirts😮. You must be on the pull every night.
Always being the best I can be 😂😂
Easy if you stay in hotels whereas i typically camp and need loads of space for all that entails. Tent, mat, sleeping bag, cooker, gas etc.
Yes camping takes a lot more room and luggage, I do say that in the video

I always take some cash, a debit card, and a credit card. That way, you'll have no worries when paying.
