Who knows? Presumably it must have had something to do with the fact that Williams had low-volt "lane change" switches on the right flippers of most of their games and simply decided to give them an extra purpose. Gottlieb/Premier, which went alphanumeric before Williams, wasn't using lane change as much, and I don't think "Chicago Cubs Triple Play" had it.
Hi, thanks but my voice is terrible and you would be amazed how many people say they like them because there's no talking. Its like arguing with my wife, I can't win! :-)
tattyadams As you hit items, and score points, could you somehow use the annotations, to fill in the ruleset. For example, when you completely break down the brick wall in the video, attach how many points you are awarded, in the annotations. After a proper reading time for the viewer, repost on the video, what the rewards are, for breaking down the brick wall, a second, third, and fourth time. I also want to add, that I like this pinball for its sound effects, no bullshit pop bumpers (no pop bumpers in a SS pinball game, mean faster gameplay, and less randomization, of where the ball will shoot out. Pop bumpers are useless, in a solid state pinball game, except when being used to hit hard to reach targets, like in Star Gazer, or F-14 Tomcat.), and every made shot, seems to feed back to the flippers; a HUGE PLUS. What is the point of multi-ball in this game, if there isn't a jackpot? Is it triple, then double scoring, like in Firepower?
Man that game sounds angry! I got to get one someday, thanks for the video!
I miss it already !! Nice to see you got it setup to play fast. :)
The attract mode/background music is something I hear from a Japanese Video Game, we suppose.
Yes, sort of.
Cool. I played this one in pittsburg. Also where I played GoldWings for the first time. Do all the 80s Gottliebs have such kick ass music?
A lot do yes!!! TX Sector is probably the best :-)
@@tattyadams I've heard that but the only place I ever found it for play was so loud I couldn't hear it. ^_^
@@DrTotz that's often the problem in arcades and shows. I have a video from when I owned one on here somewhere 👍
Cool, I don't think I have seen this machine before.
Playfield is awesome
Pretty impressive on that center bagatelle shot
+Schush Cool isn't it :-)
LQQKs like a fun game!
I never understood why in Gottlieb Alpha Numerics, the buttons for enter our initials are not the same than the flippers buttons
I agree, its weird!

How do you get the main menu in your channel?
I like this game!
?
Hi, I think if you click on tattyadams above it will take you there! :-)
I've subscribed you
Hello? How do you get the video in main menu?
I know it is probably not the point of these videos, but I would really like to hear you talking about the game(s) :)

tattyadams I can sympathize... In recordings, I hear that I have a nasally voice. :(
