Cant believe so many ppl are complaining about the music. Yeah, it's not from the movie, but it sounds exactly like what you would wanna hear from an 80s pinball machine. It sounds like the arcade. Awesome machine!
my papa has/had the same one and i played it so much the sounds were burnt into my brain, like the “who are you?” and the laughs. he had a lot of machines but this was my favorite
At 3:26, is that one of those ghost orbs floating across the screen?Played this pin at Pinballz in Texas. A simple pin with a few callouts & easy to achieve objectives. Fun!
Orbs are pieces of dust hit by a light source floating close by the lens. Take your camera, turn on the flash, get it nice and close to a seat cushion of a chair, hit the chair, and take a photo. Millions of "orbs."
It's a very basic game that would get old quickly. There a ton of great games for the same price that you could enjoy. Bally Kiss has killer artwork, but pretty basic and has become way overpriced.
How do you get into the diagnostic mode on this machine? The instruction manual wasn’t very clear. The problem I have is the auto shoot is not working I have to pull the plunger every time. Thank you in advance.
@oblachubs The problem with this game is the length of plunger and special tip to fit between the auto launch hole. The work around is to make a Stern forked launch mech fit, and i got two to do mine, and u have to custom mount it elsewhere so i haventdone it yet. May be a pain in the butt to do. The plunger rubber tips had an extension nub on them to pass through the hole and new ones don't have that extension on them. So the tip is too short to make contact with the ball.
John McCollum Thank you for the reply. Wondering if you’re going to do yours soon because I’d love to see what this looks like because I don’t totally understand what you mean :-)
oblachubs it means the ball isn't sitting far enough back for the auto plunger to smack that sucker hard enough to lunch it. It's like screwing in a light bulb floating an inch higher than the socket. The bulb can't reach from up there, and in this game the ball can't sit close enough to the auto plunger for it to work properly. It's a bad design. Just plunge it manually.
They ruined this game by not having the awesome instrumental music in the movie. I would go on long, walks and listen to the soundtrack over and over again it’s really sad. They could’ve made this pinball great. I think they should redo it. Stern should do it.
i was just thinking the same thing. that movie has a killer soundtrack and to NOT include it on the pinball machine is a real shame. where is all the prince music!? just seems like it's missing some cool joker modes with the song Trust, and the iconic theme during multiball or something.
There are lines from the film they just aren't directly lifted I don't think. They're being read by a sound a like. There's a point in this video where you can hearit say "get me those wonderful toys!".
This pinball is a perfect time capsul of 1989 Batmania
God, i wish i was there

They had one of these in a local movie theater when I was a kid. I was obsessed with it.

now u gotta get the ghostbusters pinball machine to deal with ghost orbs
i was a real champion to Batman pinball ... ,i remember in italy pub owner finished usually for repaying me the coin :D
Amazing theme and art but sadly reminds me too much of Hook with all it's identical sounds
Have you done the fish tales pinball yet?
Is this a good first pinball machine? Also thinking about a restored 1978 kiss Bally.

I would put some Prince music instead

John McCollum thanks much. Will bother me until I figure it out :)
I would have designed this with black flippers and yellow rubbers.

Wow. None of the music or lines from film. Little disappointing. The field looks really cool tho
