Splatterhouse 2 Genesis Intro Theme Music Remix / Remake

A remake of the opening of Splatterhouse 2 for the Genesis. I never even played any of these games until much later in life but I was obsessed with the idea of them as a kid. I'd sit there staring at the screenshots in GamePro magazine from the Turbo Graffix 16 port, fascinated that such grotesque and bizarre imagery could make it into a video game. Truth be told, the games are pretty lumbering one-plane beat em ups but being a refined example of gameplay isn't really the point. I mean, in SH2 there's a part where you take a chainsaw to mutant newborn babies that are already being hanged on ropes like it's the album cover of "Butchered At Birth". Why did the game need this scene? Because it's f**king Splatterhouse - that's why. And these games just go on like this - the more brutal, the better.
