Great video tour of your C&C 44. We recently purchased a 1984 C&C 35 that is our practice boat. I am truly impressed with the structural integrity of our boat. I’ve sailed on C&C’s since I was a kid, however owning one really opened my eyes as to the quality design/build. In 4.5 years we will be severing our ties with land. So in the next three years, we will find our forever go anywhere boat, fix her up and fulfill our lifelong dream. I have been scouring UA-cam sailing channels and learning the great and not so great features of boats in the 40-45’ range. Your modified C&C 44 will be an interesting addition to our list of possibilities. I just found your channel and will be binge watching. Thank you for the tour. Bruce
Thanks for watching Bruce! Totally agree on the C&C however I didn't mention in the video some of the minor acrobatics we have to do because of all the racing incluence in the design. A lot of boats that came later through the 90s and 2000 period have sugar scoops and large open cockpits that make boarding and entertaining much easier. Good luck with your plans! :)
Oooh good question. Life jacket and tether and up on the foredeck if the waves aren't splashing over the bow. Sometimes he comes back wet! ... he builds up to it, doesn't like going when the boat is moving but he will.
I grew up on a 30 C n C. Love your Yacht! Was it manufactured with a hydraulic boom vang? Only drawback for Caribbean is your keel depth but I bet she is awesome on the high seas!

Yes, the hydraulics are standard on the 44 (at least they were in 1986)
Good Stuff, TY
Nice like🍂
You seem to sail alot only using your head sail. Why?

Anyone want to be my Boyfriend 😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
Sorry, hut compared to the other sailors on UA-cam such as Delos, Telula tribe, and so on, these two seem very rehersed.
