Thank you for subscribing we should have more content coming very soon
Keep doing what you are doing.
Thank you for this video it's inspiring me to chop my 49,
I'm still learning as I go but it seems pretty straight forward, what would be a ideal chop so I don't have to do as much cutting and fabricate more than I should?
We like to do the slant chops on these cars. Once you initially cut the roof off I would take a couple inches out mock it up and see what ya think you can always cut more off. We did 4” in the front pillars and roughly 5.5 in the rear in this one. If you decide to do it and have any questions shoot me a message. Would also be glad to give you a few pointers I learned along the way

Awesome thanks do you have Instagram
Intro: Absolutely you are correct about who’s car it is! Why this guy wanted to watch a “Chop top shoebox” ….
Need a Cornwell box back there...
Well said.good luck
By chopping that car , you made the rest of those models not cut worth more, win win
Quick question...before I bought my '49 club coupe I was looking at a '50 two door sedan.
What would it cost to convert the sedan into a coupe (which was my original plan) as opposed to chopping the top vertically?
I really couldn’t say for sure I’ve never done one that way so I don’t know how many man hours would be involved
Wow! Take care of yourself.
The naysayers can pound sand. It is way more economically sound to start with the best car you can because fixing rot cost money too. You will spend less starting with a solid car
100 percent agree sir
