A nice hotel if your staying in Ubon Ratchathani area, The Ubon Buri Resort, large grounds decent size swimming pool and two nights cost us ฿2,800. Breakfast was brought to the room each morning just pick from a menu at reception for the following morning 😃
Looks very nice Dave. Always worth doing a review of any hotel that you stay in as so many people find them useful. The search function on UA-cam makes videos like this a good reference point. Nice one 👍
Looks like a nice place to stay Dave, the pool looked inviting too! I wish Bee could swim but is a little afraid of the water after nearly drowning when she was young. What a shame with the flooding they have experience, the owner must be a little reluctant to invest money into the renovation of the cottages if the flooding is a yearly problem! Have flood defences been put in place, did they say? Or whether the flooding was just a one off freak storm?
Hi Steve yes a nice place spoiled by regular flooding, unfortunately it’s the whole area so not easy for flood prevention. There is a diy store at the end of the road which has been built 20 feet higher than the road. Teach your Mrs to swim could save her life one day 😃👍🏻
Nice spot buddy, pool looked good, what do you need to cool down, problem when its low season is a lot of the outside bar etc are closed as not enough people about, looked nice at night with the lights on, breakfast in bed, you can still eat eggs and meat anywhere, im still on it, apart from the Saturday treat last week
Yes Tony was a nice place but very quiet, the breakfast did fit in with my new eating regime, I started to add a little exercise and noticed a few kilo increase but seen to be getting stronger and having more energy maybe an increase in muscle mass. 😃 are you getting used to the diet now?
@@ThailandSights yes mate, just enjoy a couple massive pork chops and 4 -6 eggs, much easier this time, I do have a treat now and again, just got to get back into the gym, not been for 5 months due to back and shoulder injury, but will start off very light and just an hours walk, stay safe you guys
