It's a shame to hear about Cayleigh Elise deleting her channel. I respect her moving on from UA-cam, but I also seriously respected HER respect for the cases she covered. There's a lot of good True Crime channels, but also a lot that have this weird energy where you can tell their priorities were not with respecting the victims & their families. Cayleigh's channel was one of the first in the genre I ever subbed to, & she's still among the gold standard I rank for it in my mind.
I miss her and I understand, I hope she's doing well wherever she is.
And its better for a famous person to bow out. As opposed to being burned/played out.
Blame the YT demonetization of all horror channels a few years back... she was simply without an income and having to deal with the emotional toll of doing her videos. No one can take that for so long. It was a shame, she was great.
After Cayleigh's departure, I eventually found Gabulosis, another True Crime youtuber who I think has the same kind of feel to Cayleigh in that she also takes True Crime cases with respect. Gabby is very considerate about the families of the victims, given they can just as easy find a vid of their loved one online as anyone else, and tries to keep sensitive topics in mind when approaching different cases. I recommend her for anyone who liked Cayleigh's genuine and kind approach to True Crime cases

Yeah Cayleigh quitting hurt. The channel she suggested at her departure, MysteriousWV, is super professional and very much worth watching if you aren't already.
Man hearing about Charmx again hurts. Even though many wrote him off as just some dumb reaction channel, it was his connection and relationship with his community that made him so special.
Yeah I totally agree. I was a fan of him basically since he started. It's really sad how UA-cam can completely screw someone over with their bullshit standards
I loved CharmX. He was one of my favorite UA-cam when I was dealing with abuse and neglect. His laugh was contagious. I must have just fallen out of watching him, I never knew he just disappeared.

I actually remember a lot of the deleted Scare Theater videos, especially the rather infamous Homunculus video, that was something. Shame a lot of those videos are gone due to UA-cam's strict guildlines/rules.
Do you have a good idea about the title of some of his deleted videos.
Or at least the amount. In some of his live streams which are on his channel now he talked about some videos that he has taken down due to UA-cam or just his preference

I remember Gabby the Clown. Her videos were awsome and it's a shame that Copyrights took her down. Really, a great channel that showcase PSAs.

yeah me too. I understand the whole copyright thing, but also--those were archives of a lot of great PSAs and commercials that may become lost because of them breing struck
I almost forgot about Gabby the Clown until this video. I marathoned so many of those PSA and commercial vids. I'm sure the PSAs themselves aren't that hard to find, but having them all together was much more convenient than searching around many video hosting sites.
Also I hope Cayleigh is doing well for herself and her health.
The mention of Gabby the Clown gave me a Ratatouille moment. I remember being traumatized by the psas included in some of her videos, especially those "Top 10 Disturbing PSAs" videos.
I still have a hoodie from Cayleigh Elise's merch store when she did vids. God I miss her content so much, she brought so much awareness to missing persons and cold cases. Plus she was such a genuinely nice person
I miss Cayleigh Elise. She approached the cases she covered with so much care, grace, and dignity. I completely understand why she quit making videos. You could tell by watching her later videos that the subject matter was weighing heavily on her. I wish she would have left her channel up, but ultimately I think she had to do what she felt was best for her mental health.
I hope that whatever she's up to these days is making her happy and bringing her peace. I hope she's doing well.
She originally said that she was gonna leave her channel up in her farewell Live stream, six Months later the whole channel was gone
Cayleigh Elise leaving YT was genuinely heartbreaking to me tbh. Her content was toptier and she really took the time to be as respectful as possible when talking about true crime, her coverage of the Keddie Cabin massacre come to mind. It truly is a loss to the true crime and spooky content community here on YT.
The unfortunate thing about this type of lost media, being that its either hard too find, no longer viewable or simply doesn't exist anymore

There is a way to find them, but not totally reliable. I saw a video teaching me how to find an archived channel, first you check the socialblade by typing their name, go to their channel, and copying the link in the search bar and paste it into the wayback machine. And then, hope that someone archived their channel
Cayleigh Elise’s videos were so good, I found her from Rob’s contest and when she ended the channel I got sad but her health is more important. Hope she’s doing awesome.
People are sleeping on Scott the Woz lost media. Before Scott had his current Scott the Woz channel he had a channel called Wozniak News, where he was just a kid making skits. Plenty of Scott fans know that, but did you know that Scott had another channel during the Wozniak News era? This channel was called Bubbly279, and the interesting thing about that channel is a playlist called "Favorites", which is a playlist filled with Wozniak News videos, but one interesting thing here is that most of these videos are private, so what we have is lost Scott the Woz videos from the Wozniak News era. One video I can remember was on the playlist at one point was him lip syncing to Rebecca Black's Friday, it was on the playlist, but than was privated. So I'm wondering if Scott the Woz could make it onto the next installment of this series.

I loved Fedorov, that was the coolest stuff. I remember going on twitter and asking him what animation software he used, and he replied with "Microsoft Excel". Either he's a jokester, he meant Powerpoint, or this man actually found a way to truly Excel.
i remembered cayleigh elise the other day, but couldn’t remember her name, just her face and the vibes her videos had, so i couldn’t search for them, but it is indeed very sad that her channel got deleted, i always found them very soothing despite the topics, she always handled the stories of the victims very respectfully and brought back to light cold cases. i hope she is better and wish her the best.

i remember Gabby The Clown and Nicholas Fedorov, and i'm sad that their stuff isn't on here anymore on their original channels. i enjoyed binging all the PSAs Gabby uploaded as i found them fascinating and interesting, and i enjoyed the surreal and nostalgic quality of Nicholas Fedorov's art, as i'm a big fan of old 90s CGI. i miss it a lot...

i really like the presentation of this videos. it's not over exaggerated, and it doesn't have the overly busy visuals a lot of other channels that make similar videos do. It's relaxing and refreshing to see.

I was going to bring that up. He got so embarrassed that he did the jizz egg experiment and was like, “I was just trolling, I didn’t actually do that.” When he clearly did do it. He was just a dopey teen so it’s not that big of a deal but it did make him look kinda silly.

Gabby the Clown! I remember participating in one of her Jackbox streams. It's what introduced me to Jackbox and I had a blast. I never knew her channel was terminated until now, that's such a shame. I hope she's doing well and thank you for the content you've provided over the years!

Not that important, but when Gabby the Clown was still active I was able to participate in one of her "trivia murder party" streams under the name "eyeball". I wondered what ever happened to that channel, so thanks for clearing that up and the awesome content.
I'm actually so surprised about Scaretheatre and Gabby The Clown getting mentioned! I remember watching a lot of those now lost Scaretheatre episodes, including the unedited ones. Gabby The Clown made up a large part of my 2016-2017 as well. I always really loved their presentation of the videos, and how they were able to put together a bunch of psa's I've never seen or heard of before.
10:40 Oh, I actually remember why he stopped and deleted his channel. I was subscribed to him when that mess happened.
Let me clear up the "vague" info. What caused him to remove himself from the internet was due to a youtuber named chadtronic sending his fanbase to the channel when he showcased his videos in a "looking at weird videos on youtube part 1" video he made (now private, I believe it was lost media for some time until someone reuploaded the video eventually, chadtronic renamed his part 2 video as part 1).
Obviously chadtronic was just having fun seeing the weirdness of the channel and wanted to share it to his fanbase in a reaction video. Just a "Woah, what is this? what's going on? lmao" kind of video. But what he didn't expect was how they would harass the guy for making weird animations, and further harass him some more when Nicholas replied in very rude and unprofessional ways that made him sound toxic to the point people used his replies as a way to confirm how toxic of a person he was. (Hence the slander comment)
Really, what killed his channel was suddenly getting attention from a fanbase that consisted of kids and teens that didn't really liked his content and only got to know it existed thanks to the youtuber reacting to the videos.
I haven't keep up with the channel in ages, but I think after that mess he didn't continue with the "looking at weird videos on youtube" series and ever since he hasn't reacted to youtuber videos since then.
There's just something different about 2000s/early 2010s internet... Maybe that's just my childhood bias
Please god someone tell me they also remember the video of Scare Theater trying an “experiment” which consisted of him busting into an egg and waiting to see if anything happened, I think it was to disprove some fake video some Russian dude did if I recall correctly

Another piece of lost media I wanna talk about was the channel called Sad Milk. It was a channel that had people like Illuminaughti and Oz Media look through posts from subreddits. The channel is still up but all the videos are gone. The only thing salvaged was the intro.
Sad Milk had a *criminally* short life. It was like watching a bunch of friends having fun together while making jokes at reddit posts, along with each other. I dont know what happened there ("creative differences" can man so many things) but now I am sad for Sad Milk

I remember wanting to find Elsagate content on YT during the aftermath of many UA-camrs reporting on it. I only ever watch the clips from YT channels discussing it but never any of the full video. I obviously don't really want to watch the videos entirely, but more curious on the experience of watching the video first time just like in its peak popularity.

Sad seeing so many youtubers I enjoy on the list. Cayleigh and Charmx mainly. Charmx I watched every day he uploaded- he had such a great personality. I do wish he was still around- I wish he didnt delete all his videos too, I really miss him. Someday I hope he returns- but for now, I hope he is alright, and is living his best life.
I used to watch Gabby the Clown religiously in 2015/2016. I was obsessed with weird and creepy content as I also watched ScareTheater and Nexpo at the time. its weird to hear she's no longer up as strange and disturbing PSAs have always fascinated me.
She's the one that led me to find my favorite PSA, I don't know what its called but it's the bike safety one with the kids in those creepy monkey masks.

I haven't watched the video yet but wanted to comment this incase you're looking into more youtube lost media. Melonyan was a pretty big PV/animation type channel. She made animatics to Hollywood Undead songs I wanna say this was around 2009-2012ish? I remember one she did to Circles by HU. Her channel was one of my favorites ever, there's still a few animatics out there inspired by her however she deleted her channel a while ago (around 6-8 years ago though maybe more). A specific one that stands out and always will in my memory is her animatic to "Pretty Girl" by Sugarcult. I had never heard of the song before her channel and still love it to this day. She now has a twitter, though I can't remember her name on there. I believe she went by Sylvia. If you guys could look into this it would be so cool. I'm astonished that no one in the youtube animation community (other than me lol) has talked about her and how inspiring she was/is!
Also if you look up melonyan youtube animator, my friend's old tribute video to her coming back to youtube is pretty much the only thing that pops up. We were massive fans of her.

I remember watching the ScareTheater video when it came out-- the video at the end was a John Podesta video of two men and a child in a dark room with what looked like colorful lights. They were hosing the child down and screaming at the kid. ST said it might be some kind of MKUltra thing, but of course, it ended up being legit CP. You can still find the video on Twitter from time to time.

I have a lost UA-cam channel it's called Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Bros.for those who don't know Brian hull is a UA-camr know for doing impressions of Disney characters in late of 2018 he started a podcast called Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Bros with his best friend named Paul where they would reviewed Disney animated movies with the latest episode released on November 6th 2019 with there review on princess and the frog/tangled somewhere in June of that year they released a UA-cam channel based on the podcast with the same name (which was run by paul) I didn't watch it a lot but one video I remember was one where they attempted to recreated Disneyland foods.but I want to say early 2020 the UA-cam channel was deleted brian never said (at least to my knowledge) why he stopped the podcast and the UA-cam channel just disappeared you could say it was because of the pandemic but the last episode of the podcast was in 2019 so it couldn't be it.it could either be Brian and Paul had a fallout and are no longer friends or the podcast and UA-cam channel got way too stressful for them to do so they just stopped while you can still listen to the podcast on most podcast websites the UA-cam videos are all gone which sucks because I thought the podcast and UA-cam channel was funny if anybody has any saved archive videos of them please upload them I would love to see it again

There was this channel I don't remember the name of now but it was run by a mother who made videos between 2013-14. She made reviews of the notorious OVA Boku no Pico as well as Salo and made a reaction video to some weird Japanese torture porn which had a number for its title involving Spaghetti. Since her child wasn't in the videos because of the subject matter as there would be crib behind her as it was on webcam. This based on the little bits of memory I have left for what this channel was. Another video was a rant titled "Fuck Google +".

I truly hope Cayleigh is doing much better, although I sincerely wished she kept her videos up. They were really informative and shed light on lesser known cases, which is arguably super important. We all know the bigger cases, but the missing and unsolved few hear of are so, so important to remember.
I think youtube deleted her videos because ADpocalypse and since she left no one would be able to complain. Cayleigh didn't seem like the kind of person who would go back on her word.

The video scaretheater removed from his strange youtube videos episode was no joke. I remember watching that when it came out and that video messed with me.
Who remembers this channel from years back. I cannot remember her name for the life of me. She went viral back in the day for a video called something like “why guys don’t date insecure girls” or something like that. She had blue eyes and dirty blonde hair it was like a scene swoop hair. She would make simple videos just talking at the webcam but later she ended up doing videos of monthly ipsy bags. She deleted her channel and all of her videos when she became an adult and became a dentist. That’s all I can really recall... but she disappeared from the internet. Was one of my favorite childhood you tubers back in the day. Not all of her videos were recovered to my knowledge but probably is long lost media.

Super Mario Logan 2 this channel was made by Logan in 2018 after his main Sml account got demonetized from UA-cam its the same videos from the main channel but they're censored like jeffy's kids the channel was removed the following month and the videos are very hard to find.
Wilburgur this youtuber has past videos that were deleted these videos are his lets play of Mario kart 64 and more Mario party 2 lets play and much more all of that removed in late 2017 or early 2018 for unknown reasons. Also there a rage compilation of him raging at the Mario games which that video is also got deleted.
Sonic toast there is only 1 lost video that sonic toast has. That is the original version of his Mario game collection video before the new one in 2015 and when the 2015 one came and went he deleted the original one in favor for the new one. And that's all of it I hope you can mention these in your next lost youtube content video.
