Number 12 really enraged me. I was born with tourettes and wasn't diagnosed until I was 8. The involuntary muscle movements, or ticks, are no mere trifle. The fact that people like this, who fake disabilities that REAL people have, it sickens me. No one should fake that kind of thing for cloute, views, scamming money off of people or anything of the sort. 😡
Yeah, I get it too with being autistic. It's a significant condition that has had an impact on my physical body as well as mentally, and just trying to get a diagnosis so your boss will let you WFH is not going to work at all.

7:20 im a bigger person and some doctors (mainly primary care) do kinda just tell you that your weight is the problem without even really trying to check you further. Like i had galbladder disease. At the time i was experiencing very horrible stomach pain and either going all the time and or not doing to the restroom at all and for 2 years my doctor was telling me that i was having the stomach pain because of my weight and what i ate and that i may of had gas pain and I just needed to change my diet. She even put me on a medical diet but that did not improve my condition very much. She ended up sending me to a gastroenterologist and i got my gal bladder removed. Moral of the story is that my doctor wasn't being mean. But almost every health problems from that you can have is worsened by your weight but i feel doctors should be more thorough with certain patients and not just say" oh its your weight" like yeah I know I'm big but it may be a combination of something else too!

Yeah though with anything, extra weight on the system doesn't help the body and its systems, even if it's not the actual cause of the problem. It puts pressure on your systems to have to serve a large amount of flesh and certainly as you get older it takes more effort to shift extra weight.
I'm not exactly svelte myself but there's a big difference between when I've been heavier and when I've been lighter, and it really does affect general health and wellbeing. It's about changing diet, exercise habits and movement, not about society being more accommodating.
Even if you are prone to being heavier in general, that is all the more reason to be careful about what you put in to your system and what you'll get out of it later on. Establishing healthy habits, even if they're not perfect, early on is really important when you get to your 30s and 40s and note where you're less able to shed weight.
It's not about people hating fat people -- it's about very real physical processes going on within your body system. I lost a friend at 40 to a heart attack because he was obese and didn't care long after his body had started to slow down its ability to completely process what he ate.
So although I'm in that same boat of struggling to make healthy choices and lose weight, at my age of 45 I have to be really mindful of what I do to offset the problem. Ok, yeah, I still have the odd pizza and whatever, but I'm starting to transition away from a lot of processed food at main meals. I've already stopped feeling a lot of indigestion and although I doubt I've lost a huge amount of weight, I already feel better.
Glad I dont have TikTok and only get content secondhand is friends, or when the good stuff is shown/reposted elsewhere

Doctors not giving people proper treatment due to their weight IS a problem though. A lot of fat peoples health and even lives were put at stake because their doctors just chalked their symptoms of illness up to their bigger weight, when in reality their weight had nothing to do with what was making them ill. I don't know that tiktoker but I do know she has a valid point if her concerns about her health were ignored because her doctor blamed her size before doing any tests to see if it was actually her weight causing problems, as is often the case for fat people seeing doctors.
True but her weight can easily cause a lot of issues and she should be listening to her doctors about losing the weight because it’s not healthy at all for her to ignore it

Weight has an enormous impact on the outcomes for a lot of different bodily issues. No sane doctor is ever going to ignore it because everything they've learned points to better outcomes if the person sheds excess weight alongside any other treatment.

I really think OnlyJayus should be #1 here, the content is just trashy and fake, and I don’t find anything really overly appealing about what she claims is her actual “life”. Most people who are overweight are because of health reasons and genetics not because of overeating. Also, the tiny towels in hotels are not suitable for most people unless you're a size 6. Hotels can purchase larger towels without an problem so they should be called out for offering little more than a handtowel.
