Really like your videos! Wishing for you to become bigger on youtube and getting the recognition you so deserve
Hey thanks really appreciate it 🤙
Super helpful Alex. Slowing down can definitely speed you up! The other tips I would give would be trying to be more mindful and kind to yourself 😁
Thanks Jo! :D definitely, gotta be kind to yourself and manage expectations, celebrate progress etc
Great video! Concept is applicable to any sport, IMO.. I started running in my 20’s to lose weight (dr’s orders), and got hooked on the endorphin high. I’d run even in the Arizona summer , 100+ degrees Fahrenheit and loved it. But yes, you definitely nailed it about beginning running too fast will leave a bad taste in your mouth about the sport and it can do more damage than good. Knowledge is Power! Good content 👍
Thanks James, definitely. And did it sort the weight loss for you? That must have been difficult to begin with? The endorphin high is a great selling point actually, it's just getting there ha!
@@alexreader I lost weight very quickly and actually lost too much weight 🤦🏻♂️ Went from 95kg to 62kg. Learned a lot about nutrition etc after that experience 😆
@@hammmer55 wow! In my experience it's not all that common for people to be able to switch the switch like that! Must have been in the right mindset.
@@alexreader I think my incentive came from being way too heavy and getting diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 😑. It was actually a Godsend and since my switch to a healthier lifestyle, I’m no longer diabetic 💪
@James H that's amazing, massive lifestyle change 👏 setting a good example 💪
Greta video Alex!! Definitely fell in to this trap when I first started my training, just trying to run 5k as fast as I possible 😅
I see your in Devon would be good to link up for a session sometime? 🚴🏼♂️
🤣 glad I'm not the only one. Definitely keen for that!
