- Now that we looked at what parts of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 1 were rigged (and just plain dumb), we can see what would have happened in the season if it were judged completely fairly, without any rigging from Ru and the producers.
Does Chad still make it to the end and snag the crown? Or will another icon on the season take her spot in the Hall of Fame, let's look at each episode and see what would have changed to find out!

I definitely see Alexis winning a hypothetical Yarlexis lip sync, she is a professional and would just go out and do the damn thing and I can see Yara getting mad and giving up like she did on S3
No not at all the producers wouldn’t want a redo of Season 3’s Top 4 they would want Yara to win this one to complete her storyline and have her in the Top 3 like they originally intended for her on Season 3. Not to mention Alexis was the one dragging Yara down this season
@@moonlightbae6143 I mean yeah that could definitely happen too, but it still depends on if Yara tries in the lip sync or not. Sometimes the producers have to change their plans based on what the queens do, like with Yara in S3 or Valentina on S9. Though if Yara were in that top 3 I totally see her taking the win, that'd be sick.
I mean its dancing on my own. Everyone praises rujubee for crying so they probably would of had a double shantay with yarlexis
@@moonlightbae6143 Yara is not a good lipsyncer though, never has been, Carmen Carrera beat Yara in a lipsync to a spanish song, you know how wild is that? Carmen Carrera, beat Yara, in a lipsync, and they had to come up with the now standard doule shantay. Alexis would've slayed and they'd probably let them both stay if they so desperately wanted Yara in the top.
@@Querviinho the song was dancing on my own it wouldnt have been hard to edit as Yara won because the song requires zero movement really, thats probably why it was even chosen as a top 4 song. Again i think it would a very emotional lip sync I just can’t imagine for the life of me the producers letting Alexis beat Yara and steal her place in the Top 3 for the second time it just wouldnt happen
I still think this season would be widely regarded as one of the worst seasons of drag race purely because of the pairs twist, people got sent home because of their teammate and that I think was one of people biggest complaints about it because they had no control over what their partner did!
plus the absolute garbage challenges
I think the one who got screwed over the most was Nina Flowers. Tammie absolutely bombed the Gaff-in challenge and sunk their team and then got put up against Latrice to lip sync. I think Nina could’ve made top 3/4 had it been individual
@@styles2535 I disagree, Nina had a pretty bad character too, it was a Spanish character and Ru didn't understand the references so Nina was just not funny. Tbh I think Manila was the most screwed over, her Madonna was great and she did really well in every challenge. I think individually, the top 4 would've been Shannel, Jujubee, Manila, and Yara because they did really well in all of the challenges they were in.

@@daniel6678 I agree it is a little questionable but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were say producers or people even on the Judges Panel that don’t agree with how the show overproduces storylines that have contacted queens and revealed things that have occurred in behind the scenes. Not sure though

@@styles2535 Chad shoved Mimi because Mimi was getting up in her space and trying to edge her out. It looked super desperate. Also for reveals, I know, but you should still be changing outfits or revealing or whatever in an interesting way. Not just walking to the back of the stage and tugging it off.
Yara should have won the season with that “cause they need someone to go home first” line in Untucked alone
Just so long aa the Episode 1 Untucked plays out relatively the same way as it does now, everything will be fine.
I think Chad would still win a “non-rigged” season, but maybe not with the teams twist in place, since most things in this video made sense. But strictly looking at Chad’s performances, I think people understate how hard Chad OWNED that season. Like even by episode three or four there was no doubt in my mind that Chad was going to win.

They were both so mistreated on All Stars 5 and 6 they deserve better why wasn’t they put on the same season together to have an alliance like Latrilla

People already had a idea of them together and they competed in the same amount of episodes apart from s3 finale with Alexis. I hate how they were done but I am glad they did amazing. Yara did something only 2 other queens have done and thats win a challenge on every season
@@moonlightbae6143 They were both invited to AS5 like Latrila on AS4 but Yara ended up telling them no as she wanted more time to prepare. Jujubee was the backup in case either of them said no which ended up happening. We could've easily seen them together on a 3rd season had Yara accepted the invite.
@@ait8551 so True Tbh I forget how good Alexis did on All Stars 5 she was literally in the top every single week or should have been regardless of the placements she got. She was high the talent show, I found her funnier than Jujubee in both the verses challenge and in the hotel commercial challenge, She was stronger than Shea in their TMZ Scene, she did great in snatch game. So it was a shock when she got eliminated over Blair in their first time in the bottom. I think Yara’s biggest problem was the fact she didn’t have any alliances or connections with the other girls this time around so when they she fell in the bottom they going to save their friends over here also her unfair placement in episode 2 screwed her over like the apparently she was in the bottom because the two looks she brought were awful but the one she made was great?? Well like Trinity K Bonet brought arguably worst looks than Yara so why wasn’t she in the bottom too? And I thought from previous season the look they actually design is the most important so in that case Ginger and Jiggly should of been the bottom two
The only time I'd be ok with the little rigging is if yarlexis won the penultimate episode therefore still creating the iconic dancing on my own lipsync
in this scenario and with these track records, i think alexis and jujubee would be the top two. raven didn’t do too well in most aspects of the final challenge, but i feel like alexis would do rlly well in the entire final challenge and probably win the season.
i honestly thought this season would’ve came down to Yara and Raven. Both extremely underrated queens on their season who didn’t get recognized till the last few challenges. Yara honestly would’ve taken Manila’s spot had she not given up during the lip-sync.
I’m sorry, but Yara would not have taken Manila’s spot in the top 3. Raja and Manila still had better track records than Yara and Alexis
@@styles2535 Yara was a lot more diverse than manila , Manila spent her season being a hater. There were so many times Yara was overlooked by the judges.
@@danny___928 again though, Manila had a way better track record than Yara and Alexis so no way they would make top 2 over her. Either way Raja or Manila would win and Alexis or Yara would be 3rd. And anyway, Manila was really nice and helped the other girls at the end of the season

@@styles2535 and to say Manila wasn't diverse as if she doesn't have one of the best wardrobes in RPDR history, and she also won the big challenges like the Makeover, the Ball, and a comedy challenge on S3 alone. That's makeup, design, and comedy skills she was awarded for.
I mainly feel like this season came out too early, they should've waited til they had more time to dedicate to it to avoid the team twist. Although I suppose that would've resulted in a different cast since by then Season 5 and maybe 6 would've been out
If All Stars came out after S6, I think we would’ve had 2 queens per season and it probably would’ve been Shannel/Nina, Raven/Pandora, Manila/Yara, Chad/Latrice, Roxxxy/Detox, and Adore/Bendelacreme
The whole thing with the Teletubbies and the iPad was a reference to the screen they have on their bellies. I don't know if it's still a thing but they would take turns using that screen on their bellies to show things to kids like manufacturing processes or messages from celebrities. I'm guessing that Manila wanted to reference that by sticking it on her belly but latrice didn't know so their runway wasn't as unified.
likely a double win between raven and jujubee honestly. Would properly fit the team gimmick that they fit into this season.
Honestly though, a double win with rujubee would probably lead to more viewer satisfaction with the team twist and so theyll be more inclined to repeat it again, so Chad winning is the better scenario since it was the fans getting angry that led to the all stars format being changed.
Glad you recognized how sickening Yarlexis. Makes me sad about AS6, the kids don’t know what a pro Yara is. For me she was the winner :(

I remember reading somewhere that Latrice said she and Manila got the second best score on episode 3, but they were somehow in the bottom.
Also, it pisses me off how they gave the teammates the option to switch positions in the lip sync, and then when someone does it, they make it seem like it was a desperate move. Like, what? They do a thing and then don't expect the queens to use it? What is it, the shade tree?
I know the next video is gonna be as1 without teams, and I’m curious how you’re gonna come up with extra challenges for that video?

this is the universe in which Jujubee doesn't become the second/third place queen of every single Drag Race show and spin-off she's a part of and while Juju winning fits with my fantasy, it's strange to imagine a world where she doesn't pop back up on some drag show every couple years.
A world where Jujubee has a crown is a world I want to live in
Manila not getting a win in all her seasons is not the world I want to live in.
That's all well and good, but I refuse to live in a world where the "Dancing on my own" lipsync with Raven and Juju never happened.

This Video was fun and easy to watch! Just a note; I had a slight issue with the title being "if the season wasn't rigged" but in reality it's just your opinions. At least that's the way you word it: "I think", "in my opinion" y'know?

i think you should do a "what if all stars 1 was without teams"
I like group challenges in regular DR, it's fun to see queens strategize together. However forcing the queens into pairs for the whole season when they were clearly expecting a regular competition was awful. The way they were paired up, with already established friendships immediately teaming up and the leftover queens getting more and more desperate, was depressing to watch.

I don’t think this is “objective.” Please stop saying that. Also regarding episode 3, it has been said by at least a few contestants that the points were not how the episode was judged. Team Latrila got the second most amount of points and was placed in the bottom.
It has always been more of a "How I'd rig it" than a "if it was fair", it's still entertaining tho

Once we go through all the seasons, there needs to be an alternate universe breakdown, where the winners of each season are determined by fan reception and the previous winners. Or how All Stars would have changed if certain queens won or not. For example, if Nina Flowers won Season 1, Bebe would be in All Stars 1, the show might focus more on alternative queens, culminating in earlier casting calls for drag kings and maybe even some Dragula type drag artists, all before Charity Kase comes on. IDK, something to think about.
I am a bit confused...why did the final challenge come into play? Based on what we've come to know the final challenges basically never matter. Usually for the finale the judges look at how the queens did over the whole season. Then again I haven't seen AS1 in a while so maybe they did judge it differently? But like...it seems weird to me idk
Jujubee winning Drag Race is the kind of reality/fantasy I wanna be living in, and what we ALL deserve to be living in.

OK then if jujube would have won season 1, then I guess she wouldnt have returned to all stars 2 as a guest in snatch game so tatianna might have done slightly bettere since she had a lot of pressure on her bc of her drama with her and raven. I still think that Alaska would have won bc she is super talented and was favoured, but I wonder if maybe tatianna was in the game a little longer.

Nahh he always makes two videos one about like general riggory during the season but just pinpointing and the other one where he tries to change the season by removing riggory or really just using his opinions and polls

I enjoy these videos--obviously, why else would I be subscribed and constantly watching--and I love the idea of judging it all on one set standard of criteria and not the sliding scales approach they actually do it on,,but it does always confuse me when you come to your conclusion/finale; You almost always justify the winner by fan support. While I understand that factors into the reality of crowning, these are hypothetical fantasy worlds where things are pretty fair--so why bring in that element right at the end? If we're truly speculating based on what it SHOULD be, why not give an honest assessment? I'm genuinely curious, and it's also the only thing I don't truly love about this series.
Edit: I could totally see a Rujubee double crowning. Ironically my assessment might not be entirely fair, because I didn't watch past episode 1 of AS1, but following this video it's what I see.
I haven’t watched this yet but if Yara Sofia isn’t in the Top 2 against Chad I quit. EDIT: I’ve watched it but i don’t agree with Yara going home over Alexis in episode 5 one bit. She was the stronger contender out of the team and on season 3 the producers wanted Yara in the Top 3 over Alexis but Yara’s breakdown ruined it, the queens even said themselves this season Yara gave Alexis a place in the Top 3. So without a shadow out a doubt I see the producers putting Yara in the top 3 over Alexis
They shot themselves in the foot. Yara’s breakdown was because she was aware of their obvious favoritism for Raja and felt like her art wasn’t appreciated. That combined with the stress that was season 3, IDK how they expected Yara to not break.
@@N1ghtGlider Yara's breakdown was cause of that and even more. They literally let the other girls take their outfits to finish at the hotel and since Yara worked fast and was basically done they didn't let her. The favoritism and unfairness goes beyond what was even shown, that breakdown was built up.
on s3 I also think they wanted Yara as Alexis had 3 wins so it would be another way to get her gone. Plus we saw how much of Yara's wins were handed out to queens like Raja

Alexis storyline in this season is that she'll prove everyone that puerto rican queens can win this competition. Looking at the finale I honestly think Alexis will do well on all challenges and if she was on that final lip sync she would've completely devoured both of them. Maybe because I wanna see Raven be 2nd and Juju be 3rd again but idk Alexis storyline just fits more for a winner

Honestly either Juju or Raven winning would've been amazing but I would have given it to Raven just so I can see the storyline of Juju's 3 finalist places without a win. Like no hate to Juju and I think she's soooooo amazing, it's just incredibly gaggy to see her arc of "always the Maid of Honour, never the Bride". I think it's gonna culminate to a larger season win like a "International Queens" or "Legends Season" (sth like what they theorised for Willam in the Challenge wining queens who haven't returned vid)
I feel like they lost a really interesting storyline with Mandora. I though Mimi did better in the lip-sync with Chad, and sending her home would've caused a LOT of drama. Plus, Pandora would probably be better and though they probably would go home before the finale, I think they could do well, even potentially win at the Gaff-In and/or the pranking challenge....
But would go home on the makeover for sure.

Definitely Yarlexis were so unfairly judged the entire season, same as Rujubee. The girl group should have gone to Yarlexis, they were all unity and they did not let ONE famous girl overshadow them like Shad did. Raven really should have won that season.

This was perfect until the end. Jujubee was not in the same level as Raven back then, Raven would’ve won on this reality as she should have!!
But like.... Rujubee wouldn't really be the Rujubee we love if they hadn't lip synced against each other like that, either Yara and Alexis should have had the win in the super sheros or Alexis totally would have been a contender for top 2.
I mean don't get me wrong, they have amazing chemistry but like their two most iconic scenes together are their lipsync + it's fall out, and that time Juju takes Raven's ring on Drag U
