Hi friends, I created this TIPS video before my BATTERY TEST video. Initially, I thought I wont create a battery test (as I said in my intro) but I ended up doing it and even posting it first!
Watch the battery test video here: ua-cam.com/video/yKiKC8DtCyI/v-deo.html
Everyone with a s22, go to settings, accessibility, and toggle on extra dim. Thank me later. It saves more battery than anything and you can't tell it's not as bright. My phone is getting AMAZING battery life now even with 120hz on.
Don't see it
@@cadillacblades try display instead i know they changed the location of it I think
thank you.
You just boosted my battery by an hour.... THANK YOU
THANK YOUU
For extending battery life, i accept all tricks you mention in video, but i will never turn off adaptive motion, 120hz is perfect and i love it. Once i have a chance to use 120hz, never want to go back to use 60hz anymore
Sadly it's what kills the battery the most
@Bry Zeer i can not get back to use 60hz once i have a chance to use 120hz. It's my opinion. Not yours. OK
From a perspective of a PC gamer with an 1440p 144Hz refresh monitor, it's basically the same and it would be really odd in user experience to still use 60hz refresh rate when you have the option to use 144Hz. At the end I still wouldn't turning off 120hz either
@Bry Zeer If you basically wanna hate just go, or try to understand, you dork?!?!
@Bry Zeer Dude I did not compared smartphones to a freakin gaming mashine, why do you think like labyrinth? Is that hard to understand what I was gonna talkin bout, so don't spill on me your arguments with anime profile?!
Imagine buying a 1k phone just to disable all features afterwards
Exactly, like buying a Camaro or Ferrari then roads have speed limits. You cant even go 200mph.
You're not disabling them, you're choosing not to use them on everyday living (and turn it on when you need them).
@S.M its a video to get only views its very rare people disable anything
s22 has sold alot so new creators are trying to get viewer
Im sure u dont own one.
Lol who paid 1k for the 22+?
I paid 600 xD
Great video. Thanks for your help.
If turn off all the new features of S22 for better battery life, why you need to buy the new phone?
I personally use the extra dimm feature especially inside rather than turning off adaptive brightness. I assume this has the same effects when you do it as you showed in the video, but I like it comfortable and easy, so that's why I'm using extra dimm instead off turning adaptive brightness off
Awesome information
Excellent tips sir! Thanks xx
thank you! glad you enjoy it!
When I go to settings, battery and device care, there is no option to limit the cpu to 70%?
Would have bought the plus model, but it was a little out of my price range. Still, I like the regular S22. It's a step down from my g power in terms of battery, but the speed of the phone makes up for it.
Great tips, thank you very much. Turning off 5G helps a lot too.
2:58 shows the standby of s22 is actually pretty decent?
I think I really need the super fast wireless charging, especially if the phone is not that strong in terms of battery life and you are outdoors. 25 watts is ok for a device though, actually it is still slow compared to other brands which has 60 watts and above.
Can we use battery saver option is it better?
Hey, I have a quick question. There's currently a deal with the pixel 6 which makes it £499. But there's also a bigger deal with the S22 which is 15% off and 200 trade in making it £450. Is the battery life a big enough deal to go for the Pixel 6 or should I just hope that I can survive the day with the S22. Plus in the long run which phone will last longer as if the battery life is that bad in a couple years it will only be worse. I am really liking the look and compactness of the S22 but I also don't mind the look of the Pixel at all either.
Just go for S22,the battery is good enough and the compact size and the look is miles away better than Pixel!
I really appreciate your tips and that's why I like this channel
The way you use your phone is similar to mine
I (no matter what brand I use) deactivate location, Bluetooth, NFC, activate power saving mode while I'm not using it (using saving mode will limit the amount of notifications you receive, so it is good for productivity). 120 fps is gimmicky. I tried it and my eyes got used to it.
I don't use LTE while in my office or home (WiFi), little gaming, most of my use is UA-cam and Facebook. I little bit of instagram and WhatsApp, reading the news and visiting some forums. That's it
I still asking myself if the S22 despite all the claimings on bad battery life will be enough for me.
I'm using the A52 4g and it's a beast, solid performance, two days battery life but too big for my liking and shitty cameras. I really appreciate small phones.
Many Thanks for your support, Is there any benefit to enable protect battery in S22 plus ? Please advise
Yes you can use the same settings it really is the same phone just a plus
Every Samsung battery issue I have never heard of them I come home every day with know battery draining issues the trick is to completely uninstall apps you don't use, turn on dark scene mode, turn on Bluetooth only in your car while using battery charger, and turn off location if your not using navigation. Problem solved battery will last you all day and after ten hours you will come home with 30% battery or more easy.
Without turning on the battery saver will it work to use cpu usage 70%?
Now back on my routine 🤣
Thanks for a great informative video 🙂
By the way nice intro 😊
Thanks Angel! Youre back!! Where have you been? 😉😉
@@GadgetRevNowVacation 🤭
Ahhh!! No restrictions now in PH? 😉😉
@@GadgetRevNow Philippines no more, slowly back to normal 🙏going out of the country still u need to have a requirement hoping will continues, because some like Australia no more rt-pcr or antigen needed 😊
Bro I also use the VR feature on PH, it takes a lot of life on the battery on my s22 but luckliy i found this video and he explained well on how to improve the battery life on my phone.
Nice video
Its useful video when you are away from power supply and you know it might take some time to reach home then you can just enable power saver mode and you are good to go for a day
Other wise keep rocking that s22 with full horse power
True! I prefer to use my phone to its full potential, too haha
In the power saving options, it doesn't give me the option to turn off 5G, howcome
I have this phone. I turn it on at 100% at around 2:45am, then turn it off at 9pm. I still have 47% left. I don't use it that much. Its just connected to wifi all day, and total screen time is just 5 hours to 6 hours.
Man in my area 5g is slower than 4glte. Samsung and verizon blocked the settings for us but I still managed to get it set to lte only. My battery is 6.5 SOT ave with 25 to 30 percent life left daily. No games though. That and disabled auto installers by verizon. That and deleted the installer apps and I've had good experience. I run on medium power or out of box optimized. Great video !!!!!!!!!
Hmmm, pretty interesting. I just bought an A54 on best buy and its doing the same thing blocking the 5G. That might be the case. Thanks, Robert! Did you just upgrade to Galaxy S22?
Thank you so much
How to trick for battery for s23 plus and low heat while you playing gamea or playing some application
Lol it's not the features that are draining the battery. It's the 3700 mah battery they put in there. And I don't want to here the phones only 6.1 inches they couldn't fit it in. The Zenfone 9 has a 5.9 screen has a 4300 mah, the Zenfone 8 5.9 screen and a 4000 mah battery, pixel 5 has a 4080 mah battery with a 6.0 screen , and their all smaller phones. You spend all that money you shouldn't have to shut anything down.
The best advice would be to sell it and to buy something else...
Theres now 45w charging for the s22 ultra?
You get over a day I get 10 hours max with these settings?? Help me pls
Another great tip is in settings there is an Extra dim setting and it helps a ton!!!!
Toggling extra dim on changed everything. Thank you for this top!
Where can I get those wallpapers???
Thank you 😊
Youre welcome! 🙂
thanks for the tips, some of them i wasn't aware of!
it's really a horrible phone, battery wise at least, took some photos today (no flash, just 50mp mode with detail enhancer) after a fresh charge to 100% and literally 15 minutes later it was down to 83%! my phone is only a few weeks old btw.
Its same for me. I got it yesterday but battery....is.....I'm thinking about returning it.
I got mine half off and I was surprised how cheap it was and now I see why. The phone is great but I was prepared for the terrible battery life because I watched reviews
Sorry to correct you but limiting the cpu to 70% only works when power saving mode is activated. It is mentioned at the top. Additional limitations when power saving mode is on. Right now you are adding an option to the power saving mode not limiting the cpu power output in any shape or form
Limit CPU to 70% is under Power Savings. That's how it works 😉
@@GadgetRevNow If i want to limit my CPU, i rather buy a midrange.
You are right
Yes, its even written there
@@GadgetRevNow Yes that's right, but didn't you see that little on or off toggle switch?? What he said basically means, you NEED to turn 'power saving' on. So it won't matter if you toggle 'limit cpu usage to 70%' if you're not using power saving mode. What you actually doing is to add the option to limit the cpu speed to 70% WHEN the power saving feature itself is toggled to be on! Not the opposite way, if you haven't turned that mode on than this option won't take any effect, clearly!
great video sir.
Thank you!
Don't forget to turn off synchronise 😊
Ever wonder the phones are getting Slimmer
But the Power Banks size remain the same
thanks bro
Got mine for 2 chickens and a subway sammich
Hy, I just bought a Samsung S22. I can't find the Mobile Data Turn On/Off icon in my quick settings. Can you help?
Hmmmm, you can also download a widget if you like...
Are you using the exynos or snapdragon s22?
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 👍
Thats help a lot,but could you give a result before and after do this trick? Perhaps it will give more information, keep growing bro i support youre chanel
Thanks bro, next time I will do it 😉
I went from 10 hours to 13 hours to 17 hours just by changing a few things. Awesome
which settings did you change?
Which settings did u change? pls tell me
I came in here to save my battery and optimized it but i already did all this suggestion and this battery dies so quickly
He speaks like abu
What's the channel? Who is Abu? 😉
How many hours added if you use for daily use and turn on the saving mode?
I actually expected to see some numbers in this video
Great Video! One thing you mentioned when talking about the Fast Charging and how it will deteriorate your battery is not true. The battery will only deteriorate if your phone gets too hot or cold. The software in Samsung phones prevents batteries from getting too hot by reducing the voltage, preventing any sort of harm. Unless you wrapped your phone in a blanket or left it out in the sun, it will not get anywhere near hot enough to damage the battery. Something to consider.
A good way to save battery is to just not use your phone as much 😃
That's what I'm doing but it still drains while I'm not even using it. It's brand new and lasts 5.5 hours tops with battery saver on, very low brightness, limited to 60fps, location off etc. It's pissing me off. All the battery test I've seen the phone lasts 7.5 hours, they're always at a higher brightness than I use too and I don't think they have battery saving mode on.
@@bickyboo7789 Got the phone couple of days back don't know how they are getting it till 7hr mark.
@@shantanuvarsan4545How long does it last?
I love the Bible app. God bless man great video.
Hey bro, you noticed my faith! God bless you too! 🙂
You realise the 70% cpu only comes into effect when using power saving... its not a stand alone function and will only work when you have put your phone in to power saving
Thanks for these. I have done everything even before watching your video. I think i just need to accept that fact that this phone's battery is not great. Much like using an iphone. But great phone overall.
Yeah, agree. It is not the same as S22 plus and S22 ultra battery. It is smaller. 👍
What are you talking about iPhone batteries are best
Its my third day with this perpetual life support phone@#&*.....I put it battery saver but the 60hz is unusable. I am very close to put it out of misery.
Nice
thanks!
Bro checks limit cpu to 70% and thinks it is on without enabling power save mode. Good tip kaz.
How long does it last?
Galaxy s22 battery screen on time video shoot
love android or ios if android Which is ur favorite android phone brand means apple of android
Salamat kuya!
You're welcome, bro! 👍😉
What's your normal SOT?
4-5 hours regular, I can go 6 hours if I do all of this.
@@GadgetRevNow from 100% to 1% - 5hr SOT??
Guys remember: If you add options like 'limit the cpu to 70% usage' woul'd be like you haven't added it, if you're not toggle the power saving mode on neither for all other option despite they're under the point 'power saving'. So make sure if you wanna benefit of those additional toggled settings that you've choosen to turn the power saving mode itself on!
So basically don't use all the features the device has. Crazy the battery is this awful when we're just using the phone as intended
excellent camera, best processor, nice form factor but cant hardly used it. constantly worried about the battery. then whats the point of having all the good features
The 120 hz is non negotiable. I could have payed less than half and gotten a 120 hz screen phone.
i was dont know that battery deteriorate from super fast charging. Thank you. For safe life battery in setting there is function protect battery 85%. Then What limit for uncharging?
Yeah it will, the higher the fast charging the faster the battery will deteriorate. That's why I keep my 15W chargers around. Even the old 10W.
Should've talked about battery degregration over time & ways to limit this
which should i get between s22(sd variant), s21 fe and se 2022? my main concern is battery life
S21 FE has the biggest battery if your concern is just the battery juice.
@@GadgetRevNow on paper its bigger but how about in real world usage?
Well its longer for sure. But youre right, I think I have one comment that says S21 FE will smoke S22. But in real life, if you see GSMARENA, S22 has 85 and S21 FE has 92. So the gap isn't that big. In fact, 92 is low for S21 FE considering its 4500 mAh.
I wont lie S22 ans SE3 battery juice isnt the best that Ive tested. So I will leave you with that. Hehehe. You got great choices though, a good problem.
Do you like to go maybe an S20 Ultra? Not new but has 5000mAh and cheaper.
@@GadgetRevNow no in my country its around 1000 dollars, and i dont think its available
Oh okay. Hmmm... what about iPhone 13 or even the mini? Those are good options too. But I think for battery S21 FE is a better choice.
What kind of case u use?
I use Spigen Air (Amazon) 🔥😉👊
@@GadgetRevNow thank you for feedback bro 😀
Youre welcome bro! 😉🔥
You have spent money to experience, so don't turn off the 120hz refresh rate...just to a battery saver, enjoy
for extending battery life, buy pixel 6a or zenfone 9
wait a second! , 60% last for a 1day and 2 hours thats is a lot so why everyone saying that s22 battery is small and not not enough!🤨
I think over the years people rely more and more with phones for entertainment so suddenly a 4-5 hours screen on time isn't enough. The competition is tougher too! Our market is now flooded by cheap chinese phones that will get the job done!
@@GadgetRevNow cheap chinese phones no 🤮some of my frainds have them and they suck , but this phone last just for 5h that to low , what about normal using ? like using FB and listen to music from the phone not spotify and play gmaes for short time .
if you connect to wifi most of the time and keep the brightness to manual you will probably have better battery life. also it may take some time for the phone to learn your usage pattern.
To me it doesn't sound very convincing to disable all the nice features just to save the battery. Then better I go back to my previous phone if im not enjoying the new features.
Samsung should come up with an update that improves & optimizing the all the features.
So sad that my S22 plus battery drains like crazy when im not using the phone.
I suggest maybe going for older flagship like S20/S21 Ultra. I will start reviewing those for people who want options. That's my project next month. 😊
You're on 60% and Power saving battery life:1 d 8 h, my phone is now on 64% and Power saving battery life:12 h 14 min. I have all settings you talked about in this video applied. I wonder why is your phone battery lasting twice longer than mine ? 🤔
Hi bro, dont worry about my battery usage, I switch sim everytime coz I review phones all the time. I think I left this phone without sim on standby so you saw a ridiculous standby time. I went back to this phone after reviewing a phone, I think I switched to iPhone SE 2022 that time for unboxing and review.
@@GadgetRevNow I have Exynos version, so for a moment I thought that's the reason and I'm gonna have to claim half the money back from Samsung 😉
@@GadgetRevNow I found out that if you do smart switch it's causing problems and downgrading battery life. I reset my phone to factory settings and it's much better now.
@@ccenty im confused i thot smart switch will help in good battery life i am getting s22 sd version previously i had s8 exynos
What do you say ?
@@Foodiepatrol I was switching from S8 as well, with a Smart Switch old settings was applied to new phone and this is not helping. Overall battery is not brilliant , but with moderate usage it will last one day.
I've already done most of the tips mentioned except one, changing to standard 60hz refresh rate.
My battery performance improved drastically. It's already 8:30pm here and my battery is still at 40%
How do you limit cpu to 70 without using 60hz? Cause I can only use that setting when I turn on battery saving mode
Somebody better come with battery upgrade ,I had s10+ for 3 years and the battery lasted the whole day and I use the phone alot while the S22+ I'm charging the phone twice or more
Really?

Too fast, and not enough instruction about how to find the settings you're recommending be turned off.
humm, why not buying midrange?😅 dont limit refresh rate, cpu to 70%... better just buy powerbank and you can feel flagshop device
