Just last sunday i was ordered by the pastor of my church to not say anything bad about Kamala, if you do you are unloving, because she is black and therefore a victim, everything i preach or teach has to be "checked" and waterdown by him just to make sure i dont say anything offensive to a great black woman (Kamala), the word DEI is strictly forbidden because is ofensive to Kamala and women of color, but you can curse Trump anytime, that is not unloving. My church is trying to take my free speech, so i left, that is NOT the true church of Yeshua!

My wife was walking downstairs at Church many years ago and the Pastors daughter was teaching a Sunday School class telling them that they needed to be like Zena a princess and a warrior. This was back in the 90s. We eventually left that Church and I threw myself into work. We started going back to Church about 4 years ago and I did not recognize it. I noticed that churches in my area who came to our home weren't too interested once they were told that we weren't vaxxed. I'd never attend a fellowship that is so full of fear and cowardice. I also resented them speaking to my wife when I was not there, and we make our decisions jointly. They should have asked to speak with us at another time, together. I joined the Episcopal Church recently the people in my congregation are pretty conservative and disagree with the woke stuff thats going on. People need to learn not all of us are woke some of us are just surviving rather than become Roman Catholics or Evangelicals.

As someone who's been a Christian and Trump supporter for years, everyone I've met in the same situation says that "it's a president, not a prom king OR a pastor," acknowledges he is not a saint, and likes that his policies are good for Christianity to flourish. We may not always agree with every position he takes, but we appreciate that he doesn't try to mandate them. There's actually a popular hat making it very clear, where it says, first, "Jesus is my Savior", then, below that "Trump is my president". Clear separation, with Christ listed first.

Religion is performative, not just belief-based. You can be born into a Christian family, go to church a few times as a kid, get baptized, know all about the religion, and still be agnostic, irreligious, or atheistic. If you don't perform what is expected of your faith, you are not part of the faith. So when someone of a different faith starts performing a different faith, that is a sign that they are a different religion. A "Woke" church is one that has been taken over by progressivism. Their religion is no longer Christianity, but progressivism. They promote progressivism, not Christianity.

With progressivism, they aim to push for a more kakistocratic system where people are chosen more for their skin color, gender, or disabilities than their ability to help others or any kind of merit. The rest were gradient levels of compliant to the law of Christ, so I believe in any one given building (Local church) all 7 types of christians gather. So no one local church is "the true Church", but rather some, or most, members of any one local church can be a part of the One True Spiritual Church, the Body of Christ.

It is so sad how Megan has misrepresented pastor Gavin Ortlund. She misquoted him on several occasions, even deceptively so. I don't agree with Gavin Ortlund on everything, especially his views on Creation and the Flood, but He is spot on in so many other areas. He is a humble man who loves Jesus, and who chooses to bless Megan. This is what Satan does, divides people who are on the same side... If this is how she misrepresented Gavin, I don't feel I can trust the rest of what she has to say in her book.

As a fan of Megan Basham from being a fan of the World and Everything in it, I am torn on this topic. I followed Megan to the Daily Wire after here job switch. The concern Megan addresses seems quite serious. The church needs its basis for acting in the world to be the Bible and not modern day political parties or influencers. I am not sure everyone in the lists deserves to be there. For instance, I am recently familiar with Gavin Ortlund and his podcast Truth Unites (I heard about it from the Colson Center podcast The Upstream Podcast). I listened to his couple responses to Megan's work and have some serious doubts now if Megan went far enough in her research to make sure everything was correct. I hope Megan can reconsider that one and maybe make an apology for the implications she made toward Gavin.

I remember the constitution being part of the message in the old days, 47 years old and when I was about 8 years old things changed in the church, everyone knew that the calendar was changed by Rome, that the seventh day after Nissan was the original sabbath day and every seventh day thereafter, that a day was from sunset to sunset, and the creator had service outside in his creation, while men gathered for communion in the church. Everyone knew the protestant battle against Rome specifically the Roman Church was the forced conversion to the three fold or triple god head from the singular creator. That Paul was a Roman born man who was paramount to this change, and that like Moses, Noah, Jacob, King Solomon, and King James, Jesus was a messenger of the true creator opposite of the Roman influence over the Pharisees and other political parties led to the end times which we are currently experiencing today as a result of several other end times as the wheel of progress turns for those seeking power. It begins with changes to history, changes to facts, changes to God and worship, changes to governance and taxation, changes to freedom and slavery. If we are allowed to study in libraries we could see the pattern repeat throughout history as a tactic of the oppressors against the oppressed, the Romans called it a Republic of Democracy different to our Constitutional Republic but you can already see that changing in the headlines.

In Marxist countries during the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's etc many of the religious leaders subjected their religious principles to political dogma. There were a few exceptions, Polish Catholic leaders were an example of resistance and were quite brave as they could have joined the 'disappeared' legions.
I live in a city of about 3 million, and though we are still behind most others, our church is heading that way while calling themselves "traditional". The first is "The worship team", our pastor just decided not to have choir anymore, put 5 or 6 on stage who can't sing, which isn't so bad, since you can't hear them anyway. The guitars are now in the morning service, but thankfully not drums, yet. Mostly modern say nothing Hillsong choruses, and almost no hymns. Sund shut down to twice a week, of which one is now "family night", and etc.... I've looked and looked, and I cannot find any traditional protestant church in my city to go to. I really don't know where else to go or do, so its either move, or start a new church in my home.

Regarding pastors-A pastor has to meet all the qualifications for pastors located in the books of Timothy and the book of Titus, 1 Peter chapter 5, Ephesians chapter 4. They need to compare themselves to Stephen who knew his Bible from cover to cover and preached it and they should too. He provided a walk through the Bible before he was stoned to death. He was a man of character, being above reproach. The arriving 144,000 male, virgin Jews of the tribulation period will never compromise the Word of God. They represent the heart of true pastors who will die for the faith. They will not take the mark of satan and his talking idol-Revelation chapter 13. Pastors must know their Bibles from cover to cover. And they are not to allow the sexually immoral in the church nor those who are alcoholics, nor the dishonest, etc. Please read 1 Corinthians chapters 5 and 6. The church is to be equipping the saints for the work of service, to be equipped for every good work, the work of ministry; Ephesians 4. Every true Christian should be able to do a walk through the Bible in truth accuracy through pastoral equipping. Believers are not to be equipped to be rock and rolling with the sexy beat of the rock industry. They are not to be entertaining the masses. They are to be equipping the masses for all holy and pure and separated living. “Come out and be separate says the LORD,” not being one with culture/ society/the arts/entertainment, etc. Please study 1 and 2 Corinthians. All evil must be exposed in the churches through church discipline performed before the congregants so others will be fearful of sinning. Women are commanded to dress in shamefaced modesty as they should never dress to incite a man to lust. Knowing men are to look upon them as sisters in all purity as Scripture admonishes. They are to display long hair, and the married women must wear the headcovering because of the holy angels who observe the church service and be silent during the church service. A true pastor would be preaching this. (1 Corinthians chapter 11) A pastor/elder's wife told me women can't know their Bibles as if they cannot go to school and learn spelling, math, history, etc. This is manipulation, gaslighting, and insanity. It is as if the fewer people, including women, who don't know the Bible the better for church leadership to gaslight into all kinds of false doctrines and wickedness creating less accountability from congregants and pastors. Galatians chapter 1 exposes those who promote false doctrines and Paul wrote as God’s spokesman, God’s words-Let him be accursed/anathema. There are deadly consequences to sin as we read in 1 Corinthians chapter 11. God judges the churches as we read in the first three chapters of Revelation and this addresses idolatry/statue worship as well. Please study these chapters and the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 5, Jude, 2 Peter chapters 2-3. Learn your Bibles from cover to cover so you are never led astray by the ways of sinful men who claim to be pastors or evangelists. This is the day of the worldly/styling false church as God predicted would arrive. Remember, Job never lusted after women, he only had eyes for his wife. He made a covenant with his eyes. Stephen in the book of Acts, who was a deacon, is great example of a pastoral leader. He preached through the Bible about sin to the unsaved Jews who rejected Christ. He knew His Bible thoroughly, performing a walk through. Every pastor and teacher should be able to perform a walk through the Bible sermon. He was unashamed and unafraid and beyond reproach, godly in all his behavior, as all pastors must be. He died for the Gospel, preaching to the unsaved. When your pastor is more interested in who you vote for rather than who you worship then that church is a state church. Just last sunday i was ordered by the pastor of my church to not say anything bad about Kamala, if you do you are unloving, because she is black and therefore a victim, everything i preach or teach has to be "checked" and waterdown by him just to make sure i dont say anything offensive to a great black woman (Kamala), the word DEI is strictly forbidden because is ofensive to Kamala and women of color, but you can curse Trump anytime, that is not unloving. My church is trying to take my free speech, so i left, that is NOT the true church of Yeshua!

This was back in the 90s. We eventually left that Church and I threw myself into work. We started going back to Church about 4 years ago and I did not recognize it. I noticed that churches in my area who came to our home weren't too interested once they were told that we weren't vaxxed. I'd never attend a fellowship that is so full of fear and cowardice. I also resented them speaking to my wife when I was not there, and we make our decisions jointly. They should have asked to speak with us at another time, together. Instead, I regard them as practicing "serpentry," as in Genesis.

I joined the Episcopal Church recently the people in my congregation are pretty conservative and disagree with the woke stuff thats going on. People need to learn not all of us are woke some of us are just surviving rather than become Roman Catholics or Evangelicals.

We just don't have Bishops but Moderators.And the congregations own their church property. Try them out. Very friendly people. As someone who's been a Christian and Trump supporter for years, everyone I've met in the same situation says that "it's a president, not a prom king OR a pastor," acknowledges he is not a saint, and likes that his policies are good for Christianity to flourish. We may not always agree with every position he takes, but we appreciate that he doesn't try to mandate them. There's actually a popular hat making it very clear, where it says, first, "Jesus is my Savior", then, below that "Trump is my president". Clear separation, with Christ listed first.

No I am not being sarcastic! When living in Austin, Texas (yes, I know!) I managed to have many Buddhists attend my neighbour's church and many of those attending that church came to the temple. Both sides agreed there were no conflicts in attending both, primarily because Buddhism does not make any judgements on or even consider the existence or non-existence of a god, and Buddhists precepts (with one obvious difference) are entirely in line with the ten commandments.
(No Buddhism does not have any gods at all, it keeps its focus on humans; there are some cultures which add them in, like in Tibet.)

Religion is performative, not just belief-based. You can be born into a Christian family, go to church a few times as a kid, get baptized, know all about the religion, and still be agnostic, irreligious, or atheistic. If you don't perform what is expected of your faith, you are not part of the faith. So when someone of a different faith starts performing a different faith, that is a sign that they are a different religion. A "Woke" church is one that has been taken over by progressivism. Their religion is no longer Christianity, but progressivism. They promote progressivism, not Christianity.

The Church (Capital C) is a spiritual gathering made up of all the individuals who are true followers of Christ, not a physical temple or a denomination or institution. Revelations speaks about the 7 Spirit of the church, one was straight up satanic, and 1 was essentially perfect. The rest were gradient levels of compliant to the law of Christ, so I believe in any one given building (Local church) all 7 types of christians gather. So no one local church is "the true Church", but rather some, or most, members of any one local church can be a part of the One True Spiritual Church, the Body of Christ.

It is so sad how Megan has misrepresented pastor Gavin Ortlund. She misquoted him on several occasions, even deceptively so. I don't agree with Gavin Ortlund on everything, especially his views on Creation and the Flood, but He is spot on in so many other areas. He is a humble man who loves Jesus, and who chooses to bless Megan. This is what Satan does, divides people who are on the same side... If this is how she misrepresented Gavin, I don't feel I can trust the rest of what she has to say in her book.

As a fan of Megan Basham from being a fan of the World and Everything in it, I am torn on this topic. I followed Megan to the Daily Wire after here job switch. The concern Megan addresses seems quite serious. The church needs its basis for acting in the world to be the Bible and not modern day political parties or influencers. I am not sure everyone in the lists deserves to be there. For instance, I am recently familiar with Gavin Ortlund and his podcast Truth Unites (I heard about it from the Colson Center podcast The Upstream Podcast). I listened to his couple responses to Megan's work and have some serious doubts now if Megan went far enough in her research to make sure everything was correct. I hope Megan can reconsider that one and maybe make an apology for the implications she made toward Gavin.

I understand so many who follow this podcast are non-Catholic and may have very wrong ideas and false information about our beautiful faith. However, we have the truth. In Marxist countries during the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's etc many of the religious leaders subjected their religious principles to political dogma. There were a few exceptions, Polish Catholic leaders were an example of resistance and were quite brave as they could have joined the 'disappeared' legions.
I live in a city of about 3 million, and though we are still behind most others, our church is heading that way while calling themselves "traditional". The first is "The worship team", our pastor just decided not to have choir anymore, put 5 or 6 on stage who can't sing, which isn't so bad, since you can't hear them anyway. The guitars are now in the morning service, but thankfully not drums, yet. Mostly modern say nothing Hillsong choruses, and almost no hymns. Sund shut down to twice a week, of which one is now "family night", and etc.... I've looked and looked, and I cannot find any traditional protestant church in my city to go to. I really don't know where else to go or do, so its either move, or start a new church in my home.

Regarding pastors-A pastor has to meet all the qualifications for pastors located in the books of Timothy and the book of Titus, 1 Peter chapter 5, Ephesians chapter 4. They need to compare themselves to Stephen who knew his Bible from cover to cover and preached it and they should too. He provided a walk through the Bible before he was stoned to death. He was a man of character, being above reproach. The arriving 144,000 male, virgin Jews of the tribulation period will never compromise the Word of God. They represent the heart of true pastors who will die for the faith. They will not take the mark of satan and his talking idol-Revelation chapter 13.
Pastors must know their Bibles from cover to cover. And they are not to allow the sexually immoral in the church nor those who are alcoholics, nor the dishonest, etc. Please read 1 Corinthians chapters 5 and 6. The church is to be equipping the saints for the work of service, to be equipped for every good work, the work of ministry; Ephesians 4. Every true Christian should be able to do a walk through the Bible in truth accuracy through pastoral equipping. Believers are not to be equipped to be rock and rolling with the sexy beat of the rock industry. They are not to be entertaining the masses. They are to be equipping the masses for all holy and pure and separated living. “Come out and be separate says the LORD,” not being one with culture/ society/the arts/entertainment, etc.
Please study 1 and 2 Corinthians. All evil must be exposed in the churches through church discipline performed before the congregants so others will be fearful of sinning.
Women are commanded to dress in shamefaced modesty as they should never dress to incite a man to lust. Knowing men are to look upon them as sisters in all purity as Scripture admonishes. They are to display long hair, and the married women must wear the headcovering because of the holy angels who observe the church service and be silent during the church service. A true pastor would be preaching this. (1 Corinthians chapter 11)
A pastor/elder's wife told me women can't know their Bibles as if they cannot go to school and learn spelling, math, history, etc. This is manipulation, gaslighting, and insanity. God judges the churches as we read in the first three chapters of Revelation and this addresses idolatry/statue worship as well. Please study these chapters and the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 5, Jude, 2 Peter chapters 2-3. Learn your Bibles from cover to cover so you are never led astray by the ways of sinful men who claim to be pastors or evangelists. This is the day of the worldly/styling false church as God predicted would arrive. Remember, Job never lusted after women, he only had eyes for his wife. He made a covenant with his eyes.
Stephen in the book of Acts, who was a deacon, is great example of a pastoral leader. He preached through the Bible about sin to the unsaved Jews who rejected Christ. He knew His Bible thoroughly, performing a walk through. Every pastor and teacher should be able to perform a walk through the Bible sermon. He was unashamed and unafraid and beyond reproach, godly in all his behavior, as all pastors must be. He died for the Gospel, preaching to the unsaved.
Jesus Christ, the thrill of hope, for a sick, hurting, and weary world-Romans 10:9-10 from the Bible: “That if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. When your pastor is more interested in who you vote for rather than who you worship then that church is a state church. In WWI, the German state church supported the state sending young boys over the top to die in no mans land. The church needs to stay out of politics and persecution grows the church.
