Interesting video. Just wondering whether the 3d fixings could be designed to be screwed directly to the wall without the honeycomb structure. (less modular, but personally once stuff is up I tend not to want to re-arrange or change positions, as you get used to where everything is). How much 3D knowledge would you say you needed if you wanted to take advantage of having a 3D printer - could you rely on downloadable files that are already online? Thanks.
Thanks. Multiboard is very simple and all you do is download the file and press print. There website has tons of info and all is free 👍👍👍 They have sooo many types of fittings and connectors I'm sure there will be what you want Ryan 👍
Hi did you do a cost of all the parts. Just be interesting to see how much it cost minus the printer of course. Say compared to say a similar size french cleat with holders ? Looks good though. 👍
Well the files are free from multiboard unless you become a member which gives you stacking prints and custom made parts. I cant remember how many rolls of filament I said j used, was it 7 or 9? Each roll was 10 or less. That was only cost apart from one off cost of the printer. A1 mini is exceptional for the money, but has smallest build plate. All other bambu lab printers the build plates are the bigger size. I love my a1 mini though
Excellent so cost not too bad. And arguably not to different to a sheet or two of baltic birch plywood for a french cleat wall. Excellent job. Only problem with buying the mini compared to the larger machines is how long these would take to print. Definitely considering a Bamboo Lab though. Did you say you had an affiliate link? As if I order one then happy to order it via an affiliate program you have. 👍👍👍
did you design/invent/whatever this system or did someone else do all the "thinking/engineering" work? if this is your system you should be in the marketing business not the fitted furniture business!!!!! i am half way thru the video and i am really amazed at this system----WOW thanx rick
It's great isn't it! If you want to get into printing for a budget, the A1 mini is simply superb! Unfortunately I can't get the credit for this, it's Jonathan at keep making. But yes it's bloody amazing isn't it!!! Loved every minute of making it !!!
Looks brilliant, mate,it's very clever.
You are diffnitly a hook, mate.

Thsnk you! It was a long one to make and edit but am happy with it ☺️

Sorry but it looks awful, even if practical.
Thanks for the input :-)
I LOVE the look
