@@alexgiron9524 I mentioned probably intended because there's no way to know for sure, but they definitely didn't code it in. The ability to do this arose after the physics were already done, and there's a good chance they didn't know it was possible before players showed them
Halo Infinite has the Skeleton of an amazing game. It needs more content to flesh it out and the progession system needs a re-work. Other than that I'm optomistic it'll be a super fun game in the future.

the mode pvpve was super cool imo the one from halo 5, if they bring that back god that would rock!
The fact they realesed the campaign without coop thinking no one would want it, and it is taking them well over six months to get it in tells me were not gonna see any pve stuff till the sequel.

@@Fostersauce same. I understand pvp but I always felt it was more frustrating then fun. I always preferred the team play that pve demanded rather then the the hyper reflexe pvp did.

This breaks my heart, because it looks super fun, but it's also still incredibly minimal as far as content goes. I just know the devs are working really hard to give this game what it deserves, but the corporate structure of 343 is so fucked that the people who actually care about their work are only afforded enough time and resources to realize a fraction of what they're capable of.
EDIT: I say "resources," but the apex of the problem really lies in the general crunch environment of the game industry alongside 343's aversion to hiring full-time employees. This whole contractor business is only ensuring a more complicated and messy work flow (understatement) for the production of *any* game.
I don't even think more time and resources would help... not just infinite, but every time they make a halo game, people come and go. Regular programer to project leads... even during the making of this game, how can they make it work if employment is a game of musical chairs? More over how will they learn from and understand the mistakes that they make if they people at the company are new people too often?
@@discoprince9065 You hit the nail exactly on the head. I suppose I meant "permanent employees" when I said "resources" (how capitalist of me), but yeah, that's the ticket. They (corporate) are so committed to playing for profit in the short-term that they fail to realize they're shooting themselves in the foot. How many amazing people have worked on this game who can't anymore because of the contractor system? It's the wrong way to make a product and it ensures lower quality further down the line. I'm just so mad at 343's management right now.

@@DarrenExplorz It will have been 1 full year of the game being out and we will have only received 1 new QP/Comp map and 1 BTB map. Forge is still WIP, Theatre is trash, Co-op campaign is finally to be added 10 months post launch. Pathetic.

Even with how scarce the new content for the game is, you gotta give props to the people, who made this trailer. Music matching the AR and Commando shot sounds, some neat skillshots and that crazy flying Chopper hijack, looking like they have a mini Mint Blitz on the team. Seriously, this is such a cool trailer, great job.
Music matching gunshots and skill shots and trick jumps have been in UA-cam videos since like 2009. At least those had breaking Benjamin lol you are seeing nothing new friend (unless ur 13 and in that case enjoy it being fresh instead of generic)

Games been out for six months, released with bare bones content(and that’s being generous), numerous bugs and glitches, armor colors locked behind a pay wall but this tool bags likes the trailer. You deserve every crappy game you get.
Comparing this ratio to Season 5 is so encouraging. We had to wait almost 2 years... but Halo is back.

It is finished. Its free. It works super well. It runs hella polished compared to MCC at launch.

Hands down the best halo 343 has put out. It's clear they are having issues with their new engine in some form with the lack of content but once things get ironed out and they get in a good flow comfortable with it I believe this game will flourish just like mcc. I understand why people are angry and rightfully so, but someone in it for the long haul im happy with the direction this game is going and wish the best of luck to the developers it must be stressful

These are my thoughts exactly. This content is really good, and with a little more consistency on delivery this game could be epic.

Not some form of engine issues, since unless they didn't take the 3 or so months of engine time to make the proper tools needed on top of existing ones to support the game, then it is more dealing with the low level upper management of 343i and the higher level upper management of Microsoft above that slowly down the development process in order to deal with Marketing and Sales aspect that do often times slow down actual troubleshooting in the case of bugs and the actual development of new content. Take it from someone in Service & Repair, they make you deal with sales in some form eventually in a company structure like that.
Man you need to get your head checked. Game launched in a blatant unfinished state with numerous bugs and glitches, Colors being locked behind P walls, bare bone content, one BTB nap a handful of MO maps, they lied to us about the armor customization but yeah it’s a good game lol. You newer Halo fans are pathetic.

@@sergio.6137 I meam sure, there isn't much more than last season, but tye new bp is much better imo (could still be better over all and more progress system is needed) and the store looks half decent. Weekly challenges look good for the past few times. Im waiting for forge and proper custom browser tbh but the game is just decent rn
I’d say by season 3 this will be one of if not the best FPS game ever and I already think it has the best game mechanics
If im being realistic and 343 sticks to their plans id say around season 4 or 5 this game will finally have my full interest :D

I like the game very much already, but bug fixes and just a lil more stuff to keep you occupied after finishing weeklies

Big yikes take. They are already working on the next game because they realise this will be dead in 6 months. By the pace that 343i works they would need atleast another 15 years to make it "the best fps ever". To even compare this to any decent fps like titanfall 2 is insulting to the folks at Respawn.

they said nothing Campaign is coming as it would take them at least 2 years to add in new campaigns. which with this supposedly being a 10 yr cycle (if they're still going with that) we could get 5 Campaign DLC's......which I think we'd all be alright with especially since 4 and 5 weren't that great

If bungo had done that today it would have been overtly controversial, the overwhelmingly large amount of content in halo 5 post launch for free was better than any bungo game

Was Mint Blitz in this video? XD That whole flying mongoose grapple shot seems like something he would do.
Gotta say, hearing the iconic calls from the Announcer during key moments in this trailer was pretty friggin' sweet. Almost makes me wish I had Infinite.
Also, if you look closely during the last few moments when the screen is glitching, you can see what appears to be a Spartan on some sort of table or gurney thrashing about while being held down by at least two other Spartans.
That's the wolf AI having fun times in his brain, and the sim combat is how they will lure it out of the poor Spartan here.

Most of the crew I run with are literally waiting for that. They wanna make their own maps then play on the ones they gave us.

_ACHTSHUAALLLEEEEEEeeee,_ 343 spent 500 million dollars on developing Halo Infinite. Yes. 500 million dollars. The largest budget for any videogame to date. And 343 comes out with this empty husk of a mess.
For comparison, Red Dead Redemption 2 had a budget between 370 and 450 million.
I'm reallllly starting to believe the "i" in "343i" stands for incompetent at this point.

Ever since release the only thing i could think of why Infinite didn't really feel like a Halo game but Catalyst finally gave me a feeling of Halo.
And incredibly huge thanks for letting me now choose to go without player outlines!! The game looks tons better that way and now i can actually see the armor mods on everyone!
