It’s narrower that the Equality Act which protects Religion & Belief (& therefore freedom from both). Belief includes the belief that sex is real, binary & unchangeable & that sometimes matters - which is the basis of the Forstater ruling. Limiting it to “faith” would limit slanging between say, Catholics & Protestants, but not people who think biological facts are facts.
