It talks about a man named Peter Stumpp, a.k.a the 'Werewolf of Bedburg'. He was a serial killer in the town of Bedburg in Germany that killed and ate women and children, supposedly practiced black magic and made a deal with the Devil to receive a belt/girdle that allowed him to murder his victims as a werewolf. The confession was tortured out of him, he was sentenced on October 28th, 1589 and brutally executed on October 31st by being strapped to a wagon wheel, having his bones broken with an axe handle and his flesh peeled from his bones with white hot tongs before he was decapitated then burned at the stake. (Summarized version, but gets the gist of the story across. If you want more info, look the name up.)
