So glad to see you’re back!!!!! And I love your blue hair💙 ugh LOVE the vanishing half and I can’t wait to get to the mothers!! You’re really making me want to read Where the Crawdads sing!! And Know My Name, it sounds so heartbreaking and beautiful
hiiii i missed ur face in my sub box, the blue hair suits you so much💛💛 YESS the vanishing half was incredible!! i also had no idea that brown girl dreaming was written in verse, it’s been on my radar for a time now all the family drama books i’ve read, i enjoyed (surprisingly) and now you’re making me want to read more of them haha omg i’m literally reading home before dark and i’m waiting to be spooked bc right now... i agree, not much going on 🎃
Omg Simone thank you🥺💖 I hope pick up Brown Girl Dreaming soon it’s seriously incredible! Lol family drama is SO dramatic and will keep you reading honestly I expected so much more from home before dark, even though I didn’t like it much I hope you end up having a better time with it!!
i think kat really liked and recommends turn of the key tho from what i remember lol but yeah, she's a go-to when it comes to thriller/horror although sometimes we disagree or have diff taste which is fine obv. we can't have all the same likes/dislikes. great video! also wishing you well in grad school :)
I was so happy to see this video pop up in my sub box! Looks like you had a great couple of reading months 😃 I'm hoping to get to Felix Ever After soon!
Thank you for giving me more of a reason to read it! It rly seems so beautiful 💖 Felix Ever After was written so well it seriously put me in a YA slump cause nothing can much their writing 🤧
I've been seeing Where the Crawdads Sing everywehre!! I never knew what it was about until now haha oof Turn of the Key. it's kind of on my TBR??? but idk if I'll actually read it
Same!! I had always seen that book around and oof- so freaking great! OKAY I may have NOT done Turn of the Key justice LMAO it’s like pretty spooky? Like it builds good atmosphere!! And it’s generally a good time, but the ending just bothered me so much :( I still think it’s worth a read ❤️
On my pc laptop rn but *inserts pumpkin** emoji :) and I really loved hearing your thoughts on all these. I love the vanishing half and I want to read red at the bone and also know my name. Is know my name very graphic?
You’ll love red at the bone!! And honestly, it wasn’t that graphic?? I guess it fall under pg-13, it’s the closest familiar rating I can give it lol Mostly it’s an intimate memoir! Reveals a lot about the author but doesn’t really get too graphic (:
