In this video we are replacing a headlight bulb on a 2012 Toyota Prius C (Same as a Toyota Aqua) but instead of using a halogen bulb we are installing a LED headlight bulb on the Prius. It will be the same for a 2013 prius C LED Headlight, 2014 Prius C LED Headlight, 2015 Prius C LED Headlight, 2016 Prius C LED Headlight, 2017 Prius C LED Headlight, 2018 Prius C LED Headlight, 2019 Prius C LED Headlight. LED headlight conversion on a 12-19 prius c is very easy with the right bulb kit.

I bought the same lights for my wife's Pruis C. Struggled to get my big hands in there and then didn't know how to extract the old bulbs. Fought with them until soaked in sweat in 90 degree NC heat. Thankfully I found your video, and was finished in 10 minutes. Greatly appreciate your tutorial.

A disclaimer that this could be illegal depending on your country/state would be a good idea. It's illegal to replace halogen lights with LED/HID lights in New Zealand, so it's likely illegal in other countries too.

So i have a question. What low beam/high beam means? It is pack of 4 which you linked. So it means i should install 4 of them?

Just a quick question, won't these cause any heat issues? Toyota recommended 55w for Prius C and the new LEDs are 120w
Ours are still working well. They have fans in them for cooling down heat

How can I replace high beam!
I put these exact same bulbs in my Prius Persona and a few days later I got a lot of condensation/water in the assembly, so much so I took them out and put the OEM bulbs back in. Did I install them incorrectly or buy the wrong ones?
They might not have sealed correctly if it's getting condensation. Could be a manufacturing issue or Install error. It's hard to see in such small spaces when installing it's all by feel.
@@thecollegepicker I was thinking the same thing, although it's hard to imagine that I installed them incorrectly. I've been working with the manufacturer trying to solve the problem and they haven't been much help. They act like they've never seen or heard of condensation getting into the assembly before which I find hard to believe

So at 2:05, he says he rotated it counter clockwise from 6 to 3, but he rotates it clockwise from 6 to 9 when he's holding it up. I'm confused.
Its 6 to 3 from the orientation installed in the vehicle. =)

$5 says that they're not even 5000 lumens, let alone 20k. Have you ever seen a fishing boat light? Those are generally a set of multiple 1100 lumen bulbs. HID High Pressure Sodium bulbs. 20k lumens would be Bat Signal strength damn near. Don't ever believe the lumen/lux/voltage ratings for online products dude.
