After trailing and mulling through literally 100's of review vids.. this just nailed it..
That is an accolade and a half considering the level of premium looking techy laden efx vids out there ..
    Quality guys ..
And I love this bike now after watching this and will buy one as I was actually considering the Diavel.. this is fraction of the price and spec I can live with.
I was especially impressed by your figure of 8 smoother than a ... hmm smoothie.
Does it really handle effortless with no snatch fuelling at low speeds ?
    Thank you again guys ..

    Another excellent review - thanks!
The 502C has the look of the Ducati Diavel about it and there's nothing wrong with that - for about a quarter of the price too. True, it's about 1/4 of the bhp of that monster but seriously - where can you really make full use of 150bhp anyway these days in blighty? No, I definitely like the 502C. I don't like the rear end though I'm afraid :( the low level mudguard - come - number plate hanger looks too much like a scooter to me and is crying out to be swapped for a high level tail tidy?

👍👍👍 in my opinion the price is right, beautiful design, quality must be ok and like the fact it's quiet, it's a cruiser to relax not to blow people's ear drums. Agree the handlebars are maybe to wide and forward. The foot pegs are to forward for my taste, other then that looks like a GREAT bike. Thank you for sharing 🇬🇧🇵🇹

Test ridden it. It is a good bike, but since i have used to riding my gv650. Bought it around the same price here in Malaysia(actually cheaper). I couldn't get around thinking of making it one of my riding bike due to the ride experience i got from it. But I'll give a star for style, ergonomic, and sound. A beautiful bike indeed.

Same engine as the 502c, but the 502c is heavier, and cost more, the TDK ( same engine as mentioned) on the other hand has so many bad reviews, because of how the engine has been positioned in the frame, making it poor in cornering.

I know they are very different bikes - tourer vs cruiser, but did you have a preference for either this bike or a bike like the cbr 500r. I'm a newly returned veteren rider (50 yo , off the bike for 10 years). I've always had semi sports orientated bikes. But thinking maybe cruiser is a nice way to return to casual riding... any comments welcome. From OZ

    • @motorsforthemasses
      @motorsforthemasses  3 роки тому +1

Hi, you are correct, very different rides. If you like the feet semi forward and arms wider feel, it is comfortable. Simple to ride and relaxing. I compare the feel to my Vmax which maybe a 1200 but does not encourage you to ride fast. The CBR is more if you want to be cornering quicker and on the go. What is your preferred seating position or riding style, how do you want to ride on a bike now?

Agree with Malcolm regarding the bars, i felt them to be too far forward and i have a dodgy back, local dealer has a demo which i am tempted to try but for me the leoncino is cheaper and just stunning apart from the silly dash you cannot read in the sun and the non adjustable clutch lever which aggravates my arthritic thumb on test trying to reach it, but these are fixable, think you can buy a sticky clear film thats anti glare that could sort the dash problem out.

502c and 310r are very different bike styles. What about the Zontes X310, that is an amazing bike and cheaper than the 502c. However if you did want to go down the 502c route you would not be disappointed; it is a superb, comfortable ride, smooth, very well built. Not lightning quick, top speed 95 mph but gets there well enough. Feed forward design and long reach bars on a turn but only at slow speeds does that feel a tad awkward. If you are 5ft 10 and above you would find the 502c simple enough; however depending on what style you like, you would be equally as impressed with the Zontes X310 (we have a video of that too)

Motors for the Masses I’m gonna go ahead and buy the benille 502c. I’ve been working hard and saving money for the last 3 years. I’m a car guy but I’ve realized that I love bikes too. I always see bikers around my neighborhood go riding early in the morning and I think it’s time for me to join in and dive into the world of bikes. I’m already fascinated with scrambles, bobbers and cafe racers. Would love to work on a project and learn how to build a cafe racer or a scrambler one day.
I can’t help but notice the love and brotherhood in the motorcycle community. Everyone’s been so helpful and people don’t hesitate to give out advice or share information. The online forums and Facebook groups are also very friendly.

I recently bought one in Australia, performance is excellent. Annoyingly it has an unusual and strong vibration at 3500 - 4000 rpm range in all gears... Feels like something is not right in the front end??

In China the crash bars come free with the purchase of bike, but not installed. You can ask dealer to put them on for you for free.

Comfortable, smooth, not lightning quick; but powerful enough to learn how a bit more power feels....I would say so yes. Sit on one, feel the bar stretch with your feet forward to make sure that is comfortable first.

I'm looking at getting one of these but defiantly would get the Double Gun Exhaust put on so much louder. Also need much shorter bar ends as the handle bars are slightly just 1-2 inches too wide

I like a lot about this bike as well. Rides great, has some nice lines and a tank capacity capable of long rides. The only reasons why I'm not buying it in an instant are the stupid display and the headlamp. The latter is just a matter of taste. I think it's supposed to resemble a skull which might be ok if you have that I'm an intimidating bad boy biker stereotype thing going. Personally I would prefer something friendlier and more minimalistic. Why hasn't anyone designed a headlamp that looks like a smiley and which can blink one eye when you use the turn signal?
The display I can't think of any excuses for. Invisible in sunlight and night mode is a nightmare of differently arranged information in blue and white colours which are not even that easy on the eyes at night (night displays should always have red illumination IMO). That thing just has to get back on the drawing board but could probably be fixed with a software update and a screen.

Glad I am not the only one re: dash. As for the smiley headlight idea...LOVE IT lol

Bought a 1997 Gpz500 for £1300, fast, does 65mpg easily, will do 100 mph all day.
Servicing is cheap and parts, new and used, are plentiful.
Could this Benelli be this good after 24 years??

I think thats what Benelli is doing, in my country for example average income is 15 thousand Us dollars per annual so 40 thousand usd Ducati Xdiavel is not affordable but this model will be sold for 7 thousand. An average person like me would go for Benelli, which i did by the way, well not this model but 4500 usd bn 302.

Rodeded. I also have the same opinion as the guy in black that the handle bar is too far from the driver. Is it adjustable or not? I'm 5.6. Do you think my height will make it difficult for me to operate the bike?
