I don't know how I feel about recommending more Maintenance Heavy European and Chinese Motos for Beginners. Not all but most Beginner Riders are usually younger and usually don't really have a lot of finances set aside for Proper Maintenance with Parts and Labor and usually more times than not, these Beginner Riders aren't exactly fully mechanically inclined to properly maintain these Motos themselves and regarding the Chinese Brands, the main issue here in USA is not a lot of Dealership Network to access for Proper Maintenance and usually Chinese Bikes while affordable, they break down a lot more often compared to other brands. Assuming these are recommendations that are intended to be kept for a long time, I would recommend Beginner Riders stay away from the Chinese and the European brands due to either their high amounts of wrenching needed as seen with Chinese brands or higher costs for Parts and Labor as commonly seen with the more complex built European brands. Beginner Riders will be a lot better off with a machine that 99% of the time they can just swing their leg over and hit the starter and it ALWAYS just works and gives them very little worry of ever being stranded.

Lowkey want to get that Aprillia 457 😅 I currently have a ninja 300 and I’ve been wanting to upgrade. I’ve had it since I started riding last year & I just want something different.
As someone who just bought a CFMOTO 450SS a few months ago, I'm a little annoyed about the Aprilia 457 😂 Not that I'm upset with my 450SS, I just wanted something Italian 🤷🏻♂️
If it makes you feel any better, 450SS was designed by Italians lol. Im waiting on the 450SR-S variant, but the RS 457 is under my radar if it fits my budget.
That's the state of the market, unfortunately. Power-creep to where even the smaller bikes have nearly 50HP. You and I both remember when we would warn people away from these new 600cc bikes with 80HP. lol. Now 50 HP is "beginner"?
I was about to buy a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled or a Triumph Scrambler 1200 xe as a first street bike. But that Scrambler 400x might just be the perfect jump towards bikes like that in the future. Looking forward to getting to sit on one and test drive it. For reference, I am 30 years old, with a ton of atv experience and moderate dirt bike experience. I'm also 6'5" with the outrageous inseam of 37", so there aren't a ton of beginner bikes out there for me unless I wanted an ugly adventure bike 🤮. TL;DR I'm super excited for the Triumph Scrambler 400x as a good looking and fit for a taller riders beginner bike.
I’m 17 and just got my motorcycle license. I’m starting on a 125cc 15HP bike. I would not ever consider starting off on a 40+HP bike, ever, but hey, ‘merica is a different right?
I think one of the reasons north Americans see 40+HP bikes a starter bike is the highways where being able to cruise at 75mph/120kph for hours is really convenient
@@raptorjesus5488 dawg we also cruise at 120kph in my country. My bike is able to pull 110kph with no problem. Still doesn’t justify starting on a 400cc sports bike. The reason Americans do this is because the law regarding licenses is very weak for motorcycles. That allows people jumping on 600 with almost no experience. That is why you see so many accidents per capita over there.
While I partially agree with you, 40-50HP bikes are still tame to a beginner with proper training. Let's face it, Europe being that restrictive is more to do with politics than it is to do with actual safety on bikes. Also lightweight bikes can be thrown off balance when riding near other cars and trucks. Some countries don't allow small cc bikes on the highway for that reason.
I have a 2022 Vulcan 900 Classic. Too big for a beginner. I dumped it once and destroyed my foot in the process. I still have the bike and I do ride it still but it buzzes way too much on the freeway. If it had a 6th gear it would be a lot better. I love the bike but I'll be selling this one and getting one that's a bit more nimble and a bit better on the freeway.
I'm 49 bro and got a used Ninja 300 just over a year ago. It's fun, light, cheap, looks amazing in black (that's what I got), easy to maintain and forgiving. How long ya been riding? If you wanted a cruiser type, how bout a Kawasaki Vulcan 650? It'd give you enough power, great on the highway and just put on a bigger windscreen and change out the exhaust and it looks and sounds great!

YES! I'm super excited to see it come to the US.
Hey Yammie! New to your channel, just getting into bikes and researching what to look for my first bike. Biggest question i have tho is what bike would be best for a tall rider? I’m 6’7” and worry about fitting on a bike. I really like sport bikes but don’t know if any would fit my size. I also was liking the more sporty looking cruiser bikes. Thanks!
I’m 23. I believe I’m ready to start my journey
Which bike would I like to see? A Suzuki DRZ400 with efi, and 6 speeds. Versions: dual sport, super moto, naked street,....

Must make good money for promoting bikes and parts. What's the best Yamaha for beginners
Is yamaha r3 good beginner ? Not mentioned
Lowkey want to get that Aprillia 457 😅 I currently have a ninja 300 and I’ve been wanting to upgrade. I’ve had it since I started riding last year & I just want something different.
Triumph has announced the pricing for the Speed 400 and Scrambler X 400. The Speed 400 will go for $4995 USD and the Scrambler X 400 for $5595 USD.
My prebooked Scrambler 400X is getting delivered later this month.
Selling my Trident 660
i Liked the Eliminator 450 & Aprilia RS 457 & CF Moto 450SS & 2024 KTM 390 Duke & CB500X
As someone who just bought a CFMOTO 450SS a few months ago, I'm a little annoyed about the Aprilia 457 😂
Not that I'm upset with my 450SS, I just wanted something Italian 🤷🏻♂️
If it makes you feel any better, 450SS was designed by Italians lol. Im waiting on the 450SR-S variant, but the RS 457 is under my radar if it fits my budget.
@@hexadecimal1517450SR-S good choice
Can you do a best 125cc bike because I live in Europe 😢😢
Does the "SS" in 450SS stand for "skurp skurp" cause thats the sound it makes when you corner? :P
Please get the scrambler 400x it looks awesome and I wanna see your opinion on it
So which is the best one from this list
Oh man haven’t seen a beginner bike video on this channel ever
That's the state of the market, unfortunately. Power-creep to where even the smaller bikes have nearly 50HP. You and I both remember when we would warn people away from these new 600cc bikes with 80HP. lol. Now 50 HP is "beginner"?
Will there be. 2024 Ninja 400. Can’t find any info at all about it. Can only find the zx- 4r
Is the new ninja 500 better than the 400 now?
Zx25r baby!
any 125´s for 2024? for the A1 licence
@@jh97001 how close to the redline are you at 120kph? Do you have any power left for passing, hills, emergencies?
@@hexadecimal1517 California doesn't let bikes under 150cc on the highway.
How fast would someone outgrow one of these though - I rode dirt bikes when I was younger but not for many many years
(Also want a sport bike)
Where is Duke 400? Excellent first byke!
I just wanted to make sure the Ninja 400 was gonna be the best choice for me still glad I'm right
I wish I had started on the 450ss or NK.
@Yammie Noob is there a good sport touring bike for beginners?
Im all for the triumph scrambler 400x
I recommend the ducati v4s superleggera😁
Very Easy to ride and not expensive at all 💀
i really want a cfmoto bike, really unlucky that theyre not available in canada yet 💔
Would you recommend the Yamaha yzf r125 as a first bike for a 16 yr old? Bc i'm in Europe i'm restricted to 125's at 16.
I wish I started on the rs660 with commute/ rain mode
THank you for the video. can you or anyone else tell me what is the exact bike in the thumbnail?
Been riding for about a year and I'm trying to go buy a CBR929rr. Be a man about the bikes
