Yes, it clearly seems that he enjoyed them (well, watching his eyes, he also seems to have enjoyed a joint before the show, haha) but Bradfield´s songs are so fantastic melodically speaking that they give a lot of space to make great things with the piano with ease. I find it weird that Toussaint is there just wasting the oportunity to contribute to the harmonic structure of the song.
I'm not sure he is really. Most people who have even the slightest knowledge and interest in music recognise his talent. The reason he is a bit under the radar compared to other artists is he doesn't seek publicity for anything else other than his music. He doesn't give a fuck about being in the press for his private life.
It's comforting to even see a great vocalist like James Dean Bradfield struggling a bit and off his game. Sometimes these rockstars can seem supernatural *cough matt bellamy
The guy is a legend !! Talented musician and songwriter. What gets me are little fools like Bieber coming along with there so called "Talent"? Maybe he should watch this video and take a lesson from JDB
Who is doing his sound?.. I watched him on many a concert, and the vocal sound is so dry and does nothing to help showcase what a great voice he has.. Bit of reverb and delay tastefully added would lift the song and perhaps help him to allow to launch into his big voice and a guy on the desk who actually cares enough to up the gain while he sings the quiet gentle parts of the song /s.. I think the sound was so dry and the fact that he didn't have the ummpff of his band. Shut him down vocally.. But I would love to see this guy with a good sound and comfortable settling, sing these songs . He is a great vocalist and song writer and excellent Guitarist too.. Love his lead playing.. It's really raw and honest.. He's definitely a one. Off . Going to try and get to see them support Bon Jovi in Dublin soon.. Cheers bro
I think one of the best things in these videos is Allen Toussaint's reactions to the songs. Bloody loves them :-) he's blown away
That's so sweet 💜

I just wrote a very similar observation on "If you tolerate this."
He should be impressed.
The most underrated musician I history

Mark Newnham Sounds like the master tape from the recording had an error.
Bit of jazz
Biffed the arpeggio but great recovery. True pro.
This is so pretty.

It' hard to quantify just how much better this guy playing solo is compared to the Manic Street Preachers

Great song always was. But he's giving it too much ooomph and its lost its spark

It's a hard song to sing, especially sitting down.

Mark DArcy no one is slagging off the amazing song.
