- With @everyone having a few more days left in their event store I thought it was a good idea to talk about how important Syndicate XP is (especially for the F2P/Light spender). I'm currently shooting for Syndicate 30 so I DEFINITELY need as much as I can get, and you probably do to! Let's talk STFC! I also briefly rant about the continually raising of the bar of the Heroic SMS for Syndicate XP

The point of raising the level of xp was to make sure f2p couldn't get the first milestone. They made that quite clear
once you hit a battle pass (reg, wave, TC) milestone that contains syndicate xp, do not collect from that pass until a syndicate xp event pops up (or the pass is going to expire, whichever comes first). Using this method, i can always hit the 1st tier prize and sometimes the 2nd tier prize without buying any packs when event comes up. Just takes a little bit of effort for those of us, like me, who have PCOCD (Pip Click OCD) to not pull those until the event arrives
Yes, and that tactic was able to consistently get you to Tier 2 before, but they changed the milestones to make it very difficult to reach now.
They always put syndicate xp in the battlepass. Don't collect the battlepass until they start the syndicate event and you get get a bunch that way too.
not just the battlepass, also terry bp and waves bp 👍
I saved these, plus held off on a tier up of my mantis to double pull from it, and I'm still only halfway to my first milestone

so agree with you.. using all the methods you showed used to get me nearly to nearly completing the 2nd ladder. now i struggle to complete the first run.. i used to enjoy the run.. but for a while now i have nearly given up using..
Have nothing against spending money on packs etc .. the problem I have is the fact , that the cost is prohibiting . 200 dollars is just an unreal price for such a game . Not so long ago packs were 100 , 64 and 34 dollars respectively . The other problem I have is like you said . free to play totally have a hard time completing alot of events that pop up , as they seem to keep changing the goal post postion constantly

Yes, I agree that the bottom rung should be obtainable for FTP... I remember getting there before but can't even get close. I would be fine making another rung down for FTP even. Oh... and Got the Borg Cube.... Thanks for getting it done with scopely!
I routinely get to first tier of syndicate event. I am a level 49 f2p. I save my syndicate xp rewards from battle passes, wave battle pass and territory battle pass. Time my mantis refinery until the event launches and do a double pull, Finish the daily tree, claim the syndicate and stone of memory after event launch.
@@edmundangel5947 Yes, I use to do that too before all the new ways coming in... But at lvl 35 where I am now, I don't think it is possible no matter what I do... I bought battle pass and didn't make it even to the bottom like that...
Used to be able to hit the first rung of that event simply by doing your daily pulls (daily and full Mantis) during the event, not any more.

Timing can help here. Never pull syndicate until right after reset and you can get an extra round of collections in thanks to the 22h timers.... assuming you can be on within an hour of reset at least.
They have raised it so high for the players in the 50's you basically have to have the primes to hit the first milestone

The way they changed the syndicate event is the main reason i stopped spending money on the game.
I think they changed events that used to be a trickle source of officers shards more and more difficult for free to play players.
I'm not spending any more. If they want to take things away, so can I. I know they won't miss my miniscule spending and that's OK cause I feel it and I feel OK about ot.

We have WD and Territory BP. I in there we have 6/7k reputation. Just w8 for event to collect.
Res Station, research Syndicate Spike for prime particle, you only need w8 for 120 to get this :D
you need 28.2k syndicate xp to get to the first milestone. Even if you do everything during the sms period including holding back the f2p battle passes collections,wave pulls, pulls from bajoran faction ex borg pull . You will still end up 800 xp short
and this is how I’ve gotten to almost tier 2 already
Currently Syn lv 18, prob have enough Ghrush shards to max him but he requires badges from pvp chests and I have no interest what so ever in the pvp side of the game and I'm not gonna spend any money to get them from the store. Are there any other sources for those badges out of curiosity? I"m ops lv 36 if it matters.

500 in dailies … wait to claim your BPs untill the syndicate event, wait to claim dailies until the event pops and then with the 22hr cooldown U can pull 3Xs
The Syndicate spending events are frustrating now, because they used to be easier with the milestones, and would offer a full unlock at the top milestone..
I used to be able to get to the second rung by playing the clock and holding my Mantis tier up for the event. I can't get close anymore. I blows.
Please ask for a below decks officers that increase the warp range .

Why hasn't Scopely ever added Syndicate XP as a reward in the Away Missions? That would be nice.
It would probably be an Epic 5-day away team with a 70% crit chance that would never proc, and need 3 maxxed Epic officers with a maxxed 3rd line ability
I just now collected the battle pass up to this day and have all the extra pulls and still didnt get to the 1st tier.
lets see, they increase syndicate sms, they removed event loot from dickets, yes i meant that, did ams event that didnt follow their ms formula, on top of the last horrific event store- magic 8balls says theyre cutting rewards
forgot event rewards saving the syndicate till this event
im the kind of person that try's to do everything in the game and get annoyed that i just don't have the time
Yes F2P can get the first tier of the syndicate event. It's a 2 day event. im halfway to the second tier from the daily claims
This one is only 24hrs. Normally you’d be correct about event length.

It is simply now a whale event. It is not possible to get to even the first rung without spending
The syndicate XP event is irrelevant. I don’t even look at it anymore.
Too much new content. Too many loops/turn ins to keep up with. Still don't have an NX01, or even Metreon Cascade. Falling farther and farther behind. I only get maybe rank 5 in WD Pass. Too hard to try and do WD every day on TOP of everything else.

Total garbage, can't even hit first level as f2p since they started raising the cost. Fine if its heroic, but when you cant even hit level 1 with just daily pulls...it just shows how scopely doesn't care for the average player. True colors showing.
Hence way I'm fighting to have it lower
