11:35 I had a string break on release after 1,000 shots on the 2022 model of this bow, because it broke apart at the nock. I recommend glueing in leather inserts at the nocks. Very well made bow, going strong for another 1000 shots and counting. Note, at least for heavier poundages, this bow is a resin + glassfiber composite. My guess is Simsek ups the fiber content & thickness as needed for higher draws.
Finally got a chance to watch to vid. Great review Armin. I really enjoyed getting to see the bow on your channel first before i got it. Thanks again. I owe you one.
11:35 I have a generation 1 Şimşek and got my string cut off because of this three times. So it's not a new problem, I'm sad to see they haven't improved.
I found that some of the lesser known manufacturers of Turkish bows pay attention to detail. I have a 50# Turkish laminate bow with fibre glass on the front and back and it performs really well. My only complaint was that the handle is just bare wood and the hand shock is very strong that it once popped the callous on my hand. I put some amalgamation tape on it and it fixed the problem. Also there is no vibration in the limbs.👌It's still going strong 2 years of shooting it! 💪
Hello, my name is Tony and I’ve been doing archery for almost 10 years now and going through many different kind of bows, which most of them mostly breed for war not the best quality to my perspectives. But with today’s technology, I’m more of a form, lever of synthetic, fiberglass and laminated. I am a huge fan of your videos, and I watch every one of them and after I watch this video found out that it’s a boat made of full resin. I was really intrigued. I clicked on the link and went to the website. It looks a little complicated I live here in the US. I wanted to see if there’s any possible way that should be willing to sell that. Oh to me that you did a review on. Thanks again your friend Tony.
A nice re-review, thanks. I did't quite catch the part about MetBow... You WANT TO get one, or you WON'T get one..? Because a lot of people would be interested in that review, imho... 😏
What chronograph are you using in this video. I have just bought a cheap one with the metal wires coming out the top for checking slingshot speeds. Thanks.
Hi Armin, can I ask you a question? Can I use mediterranean style (three fingers, arrow on the other side) when shooting this bow? I would like to buy it, but on competitions in my country, there is only allowed mediterranean style.
I really loved my Simsek bows but unfortunately the durability was not there . They’re way too expensive for them not lasting too long. 3 bows later and METBOWS are my new favorite one piece fiberglass bows. Way more stable also. You could feel the difference
@@EREBO95 that sounds right to me. I got mine at the start of 2022, and a couple thousand shots shots and a few rough incidents & repairs later, it's still going strong. This bow's a gold standard for me and I can't recommend it enough. Composites are tough to get right. I'm going to guess Simsek's been improving and locking down their manufacturing process over time.
YES!! A NEW SIMSEK! THANK YOU SENSEI ARMIN I thought you're quitting UA-cam Slowly cause you almost do Bow reviews lately Turns out Armin reviewed almost All the bows in the world 🥸👍

The apple test was superb!

That is one fast bow. I like the simplicity of the build. Be a nice addition

11:49 where can I get the left hand glove? Been looking for a good glove to protect my bow hand but having trouble finding a good one
many online shops have them, they call them Y gloves

That disclaimer is as funny as it is bold. 😁

sure
what does the f-Value represents? still wondering...ty for the answer :)
the ration between length of bow and max draw
@@ArminHirmer oh, thank you...i see...and what is that value good for to know...? :)
Same here. What is consideted a good value?
@@Zmolek1 just for me a value to determine the capability of a bow.

that's the exact opposite of what i've heard about simsek bows.
@@Xtorin_Housecat_Ohern i think they had a bad year… on Facebook there was a whole thread with people sharing their defected bows.
