Imagine if all of you guys would have purchased up those Brownstones back in the 80s and 90s
Chuuuch!!!
Lol. Easy to say now. That's like somebody telling you to go buy used hospital toilets. NOBODY saw that change coming. Jewish building owners were leaving their buildings to the tenants.
Or burning them. it was live for today. you could watch movies read pics and hear stories daily but you'll never no what it was like
Starting to 95-96, you could feel like something was different.
It ain't too late for ya smart modafukas. Go into the hood and buy cheap houses. Newark, Irvington,.etc. Dont sleep
@Knuckle Game
🙌What do you see now almighty.
@Knuckle Game
hAhA.......hA back then you needed big balls just to walk by the brownstones

@Ant Parker Malcom X is a international freedom fighter admired throughout the world. Your a nobody in the UA-cam comments that no one will remember when you die. Malcolm doesn't even know your existence BUT YOU definitely know him. So always remember your place which is nameless and faceless compared to the world famous and beloved Brother Malcolm.

Malcolm X is definitely the King of Harlem !!!
I just recently discover ms. Tee and I have become very interested in her story. As a matter of fact for the last 2 weeks I been following her stories on you tube. Ms Tee and I are from the same generation, however I'm from DC and I was a young teenager in the late 80s and I hung out in spots where drug dealers hung. I had young men in my family who was drug dealers. I to knew guys who lost their lives to the game. All though I never was apart of that life I wanted that life. I can remember longing to be a hustler girl. It wasnt like I needed to be a hustler girl because I worked, my mother and father worked for the DC government so they made decent money. I am a only child, I was spoiled but it was something fascinating about being a hustler girlfriend. At the time that look was everything to me. But I'm so grateful and happy that god didn't grant my wish. I'm so glad that I was fortunate enough to not get involve with a drug dealer and become that hustler girl that I thought was everything. Because that life was cold, ruthless, back stabbing, untrustworthy, crazy, and extremely dangerous. So to my lord and savior once again I say thank you for not granting me that wish, it was a foolish dream.
I don't think it was about measuring money.
I think Rich was a perfect street Martyr
Exactly.. she missed the point. Since when does money make someone the King of something, Millionaires have to follow the law of a community there richer than. Influence cannot be sold of bought, most women only think about money, they dont factor in the stripes and respect that make people stand out.
@@streetsform3104 she ugly and a hater i never heard of her until alpo called in on that interview, i be peeping how she be trying to downplay richard
Miss Tee this was the best and most truthful and humble video I’ve ever watched.. I loved when you said the game was not fair to no one... and you have to charge it to the game, what ever your outcome was.🙏🏽💪🏽
Thank you
Richard was a player of the game bless him RIP...🙆🏿♂️🙇🏿♂️🙇🏿♀️🙇🏿♂️🙇🏿♀️
Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson was the undeniable king. Just my opinion
I think that you are right.
Facts he kept the Italian Mob from taking over Harlem
He Was king 🤴🏾Before That Frank Lucass is Play By Denzel washington in the Movie American gangster is releaseeee in 2007
Well God damn most people from that era didnt hold up as well..ur a survivor and ur a strong beautiful black woman...U go Miss Tee!!!
Black isn't even a nationality nor is it a race smh nor is African American it's a slave title that was given by racist people
She should marry your brother. Lol.
When I was like 18 before I even got into the game, an old man told me this, he said son it ain't enough soap in the world to clean this game its so dirty... There was alot of Riches out there, good dudes that lost their lives in this thing, real good dudes. I can name plenty cats from Bmore and Brooklyn that fit that mold... Rip to all of them.
mookeychase0907 THATS SOME REAL SHIT RIGHT THERE FACTS💪💪
WiZeFu The Soulja yea people don’t know that. He killed darryl barnes lil brother. He did a lot of foul shit to people but is still being preached 🤷🏽♂️ there are no good guys in the streets trust me. Many dudes voices are not heard, others lost they lives. if they was still here they would tell you who these niggas really were that niggas look up 2.
Listen as a Honduran, this is nothing,,,, sad but in the game you don't only put you in risk you our your whole family,,,it's a saying in Honduras, if we can find him, we're going for someone he love....smh r.i.p
That old man was right
callin' drug dealers dealin' to their own people real good dudes 🙄
Ms Tee lived a helluva lifestyle
She looks well preserved considering
Bumby Johnson would have to be the King of Harlem...Rich was a legend of his Era... Yet Bumby was way more powerful, influential and connected.
Malcolm X was a God of many cities populated with African Americans. Bumpy Johnson was King of Harlem.
A lot of families went threw a lot. Especially the children who’s parents got hooked on drugs. Which killed two birds with one stone 🤷🏿♂️

I Remember Harlem was Super Fly in the 80s it was a Magical Time.
There was an 1000 rich porters in Harlem around that time rich just had a name and very popular paid in full just really blow up AZ, PO, Rich nationally because the movie was a hood classic

You probably right king, but one thing I can say;I've been hearing about Alpo since 88 and I'm from Jersey. My peoples was down Virginia when he did the whole"he got a a gun"thing and made the crowd run.I use to shop on 125 and go to Kev Child's spot.I remember it had the BMW in there.Plus, his chick use to pull-up to Bergenfield rink in that station wagon BMW joint every weekend.

Nah.... Po name rang all around waaaaay before any movie of DVD. Your favorite rappers favorite rapper was tryna be him!!

You can tell he wasnt getting money like people thought, cause he couldnt put up the 500,000 for his brother. Thats why when you are getting a lil money, dont flaunt it, cause people think you got more then you got foreal.
Hey Ms. Tee it has truly been a pleasure listening to you. I'm so fascinated about life in America in the periods from 50s to now and what made the game and the history behind it. Being a fan of hip hop from a young age and relating to the struggles our people faced myself here in England. I'm going to buy the book. I have so many questions! A lot of lives were taken but the 80s and 90s were truly Iconic periods that can never be duplicated.
Wow. Thanks so much. I appreciate the support. I'm sure you have lots of questions.

There's no way Rich Porter was the King when Fritz was fronting him work. Rich wasn't the plug. She's right, Paid N Full movie got a lot of people confused. That movie was a great movie, but like she said it was for entertainment purposes only. That still doesn't take away the fact that Rich was no doubt a real money getter.

I was born and raised in center Harlem and lived through that time and Paid in Full did capture the accurate "feel" of that era... they set out to capture the feel and it's the best thing I've seen that captures the era.. it was more violent and dangerous, bullying than what the movie shows but the look and feel of the movie is accurate to how it was back then.

I'm from DC and around that time , I had friends from Harlem and BK and I knew some of Paid in Full was false but like you said, it was a movie. There will never be a time like the 80s and 90s. I'm 47 and very blessed to still be here ! Some just can't relate . I will be purchasing the book !
Absolutely, but you know what? Change is good. We needed to do things different. I just miss the fun part of those times.

Can't mention Harlem without mentioning the Ricans getting money and of course the Dominicans. She is absolutely correct....there were many people in Harlem and Nyc in general getting serious money in the 80's and 90's. There were some more "famous" than others because of their antics and or personalities. Harlem will always be home. GOD bless Harlem USA

I was lil homie watching all the madness back then. Definitely good ol days. Good bad an ugly
Good video! It’s very clear now as to why they didn’t pay Alpo for “Paid in Full”. There is no way Alpo would have signed off on the way the movie portrays everything. All the more reason for 50 cent to link up with Alpo, we need a 80’s Harlem or Alpo series.
After what happened to alpo it's impossible now
