One thing I hate about the trees is a lot of things I want is in tier 3 and I don't want tier 2 stuff (motivator is a primary example). I want to develop my coach the way I want, and there's just so much useless crap I have to take just to get the few things I do want. With a limited amount of points it's just deflating.
I think we need more points or make things cheaper to get. Or just give us the option to skip over tier 1/2/3 and purchase the specific skills we want.
I feel like the architect class is kind of useless. Once you become a top school, you will start getting the best recruits and by that time they will become the best players by default so the things it has to offer isn't really useful. Also, it has a high barrier for entry. So by the time I would have it maxed out, I don't have any use for it.
Disagree even as a top school the Architect class is very important. Even 1 skill cap can make a big difference. Had a TE unlock his last skill cap in quickness. Went from a 87 speed to 92. Motivator and Architect are a nasty development combo. Players will earn crazy xp and consistently break skill caps. and if you can somehow combine that with Talent Developer? Oh recruiting won’t even matter atp.
I’m wondering how the 3 game winstreak is defined in the game. If you’re on a 4 game streak, does that count as one 3 game streak or two (games 2-4)? Common sense would say it doesn’t work that way, but you never know with this game

Here’s the thing that I noticed with architect: The second and fourth tiers don’t mention position groups in the description. The first and third ones *do* mention the position groups. I was wondering why my K/P/RBs/FBs/LBs were breaking caps without any investment. I think that the cap breaking applies to your whole roster but has an increased chance to work for the position group that you unlocked it for. I could be wrong but I believe that the wording has changed for the skill cap breaking in one of the more recent updates, so the devs could have realized that architect was too weak and buffed it.
@@frogalex8915 I keep track of them. I’ve only had one with any investment in a combo tree and he got poached before I unlocked architect in the dynasty I noticed this in. It’s hard to even find a coach with an advanced tree.
It’s just hard to tell what players are gonna choose to develop it’s like everytime I do it no matter the methods they always do ratings instead of badges.
This college some players are stars with no badges and an 86 ovr but you literally have to play all your games and the whole thing players will loose stars and others gain your cap is just the minimum If he 90 by his 2nd year he ain't a top notch star
@@Storm-gt3kg they pick the attributes first and then when capped out they choose the skills. So while it’s true they do the attributes random the skills do the upgrades during the off season.

Architect Tier 2 is OP. If you can scoop one of the few coordinators with Acrchitect you can really take your coach to a new level if you can snag the discounted 7pt architect abilities.
i have a coordinator with maxed out architect and one with maxed out master motivator. my team of 3 stars is out developing the dude who has signed 45 5 stars in 3 seasons
@@frogalex8915 yea coordinators can really change your circumstances with stacks. I got really lucky and scooped one of the architects and trained architect discounter fully across the board for Tier 2. I hold my points until I can grab them fully discounted (within reason).
Have you done any testing with the Skill Caps moving up when Leveling a player with those Architect skills? Some people have said the chance to increase is kind of low and it may not be that worth it to invest heavily. Love the videos, keep it up!
can you PLEASE do a video on the CEO senior superlative ability vs the architect skill tree? Both remove skill caps but I need to know what’s a better value/removed more skill caps. Mack Brown has CEO and is only a Lvl 37 when starting so he has a lot of head room to play around w abilities. Thanks.
@@bigot127not 100% true... they will do whatever is cheaper. So if an ability cost 3 to upgrade and the cheapest skill 5 and they have 4 points they will pick the ability. Its the same dumb AI as for the AI coaches if you notice they never unlock the secondary trees because they will spend all 500 points in the 3 main trees because it will never save the 15 for a secondary tree.
I have a question I don’t know if you have encountered this in dynasty but my players are always tired at the start of the game do you know what I can do to change that?

They absolutely have nerfed the CPU passing. They used to dot me up now it's like if you take a sublb and pull him back just a little further than his zone plays they will not throw the ball. Is anyone else having this issue? I even had to put CPU pass block up to 60 so I wouldn't get 7-10 sacks a game and it's on Heisman and it's just a simple cover 3. They won't throw the ball. i tried this with to architect coordinators and i have talent developer and it was only every once in a while the target positions dev'd up to over 94 or 95. playing all the games and win streak has been gong for years. ive had a couple of goated Wrs, and Rbs but the DBs really dont dev up
DBs seem harder to get above 92 ovr because their physical abilities are easy to unlock high levels in. You either get highly rated players with little-no abilities or guys who struggle to reach 92 ovr but tons of abilities.

This sounds strange, but players on my teams seem to do better in offseason training when they are on the bench. For example, two young QBs, it seems the back-up QB gets better training results than the QB I decide to start, regardless of what their development trait is. I'm also thinking the development trait is not so important, I have had guys with impact development out progress guys with elite development. My sample size is quite big too, I have done 10+ dynasties with teams 75ovr or below playing around 4 or 5 seasons with each dynasty or until I win a championship or two.

Offline dynasty for 10 seasons now. I reload the offseas week and everytime its different. Starting qb can get no points or 6 or 8. Bench roster doesnt seem to matter. Coach skills do i believe but who gets what and when seems to be a roll of the dice. So i just reroll that week until i get what seems appropriate.
Also I set the depth chart before advancing that week as the coach perk for starters get more xp may effect that. If you look, your graduated starters have a blank spot now in the depth chart.
I really wish they showed xp thresholds for the next upgrade. They have it in madden. Would answer the question on if their dev slows when they get older or not.

I’m in year 15 of my team builder dynasty..80 players drafted 24 first rounders, i think I got my first one year 2 or 3 because one of the RBs on the team was already good and won heisman, I’ve had dudes drafted in the first round at this point though who left as RS Juniors and didn’t even start for me

Be honest I been at Oregon my whole dynasty (2030), I really don’t develop 2/3 starplayers. Many of my freshman come in between 84-76 overall, but having a A+ Facilities help them with training during the offseason anything lower will make players develop slower
If you're at Oregon, then you probably shouldn't be recruiting 2/3 star players. 4 star players minimum. The Oregon team in my Dynasty (cpu team) is a top 5 team every year and a top 5 recruiting class.

You fire them the week of conference championships and hire them in the bowl season. Old guys stay til the natty is done. The candidates in the 2nd week tend to be higher level, ex hc.

Once you learn how to recruit with 50 hours per player and slow scouting, it’s not hard to do and makes recruiter feel worse to spend more points than necessary on. Meanwhile, if you’re aiming for a faster dynasty (I’d say up to around 7 years), recruiter becomes more important because you don’t have the time to build your program, so you’ll be much more likely to try to punch well your weight class.

I’m at that point in my online league with my friends I take quality over quantity and they have to fix off season training bug for you to really see results. Against the AI you don’t need recruiter. You won’t have insane recruiting classes, but you can still go after top prospects SOMETIMES. In an online dynasty with people that have similar pipelines you absolutely need recruiter. You will land significantly less too prospects(keep in mind this is already a small number to start).
Yeahhhh you’re doing something wrong my guy. You should realistically be able to get a top 30 class as a two star program pretty easily. 3* and up you really should be top 15 minimum every year moving forward. You’ve gotta believe in your rizz brother. Go for way more 4* and try to get at LEAST 2-3 5* a year. Me personally once I get my program to a 4 star I basically only go after the 5* I want and then go after 4* later in the season

Good video but too many variables like u said the players choose upgrades randomly it’s hard to tell the impact from that test based on OVR

Skip Architect always! CHANCE means a chance. Not worth it when you compare it to boost you can get in other builds. You want to recruit players.
Players always do attributes before skills. You won’t see skills really jump up unless it’s offseason or they are capped out.

Man you gotta feed a player to get a 1st rounder. I had a WR that had to get 2k yards 20 TD's. Was difficult.

@@jolteon345 if you bring in the best talent each year let’s say all 10/11 5 star gems 💎 you pretty much have to have it. I’m at that point in my online league with my friends I take quality over quantity and they have to fix off season training bug for you to really see results. Both are good it just depends on if you are better at gameplay or the menus
Against the AI you don’t need recruiter. You won’t have insane recruiting classes, but you can still go after top prospects SOMETIMES. In an online dynasty with people that have similar pipelines you absolutely need recruiter. You will land significantly less too prospects(keep in mind this is already a small number to start).
Recruiting on this game is crazy!!!! I have won four national titles in a row, and I have yet to get ranked higher than number 30 in recruiting😂😭😡😠🤬
Yeahhhh you’re doing something wrong my guy. You should realistically be able to get a top 30 class as a two star program pretty easily. 3* and up you really should be top 15 minimum every year moving forward. You’ve gotta believe in your rizz brother. Go for way more 4* and try to get at LEAST 2-3 5* a year. Me personally once I get my program to a 4 star I basically only go after the 5* I want and then go after 4* later in the season
@visionary640 I think the recruiting on here is dumb as hell, but I coach my three stars to be four and five stars, and I win regardless
