@@scb083 Ok. I’m on my 3rd one past 85 so far. He is a redshirt freshman and is an 87 overall. And I have one behind him that is an 83 with good skill caps.
Some tips I compiled from playing so far: POSITION CHANGES ATH Possession -> TE/DT/FB ATH Physical w/ 80+ Spec Catch -> FS/SS/CB (they will guaranteed have Platinum Lay Out) ATH Power Back -> OLB/MLB ATH Scrambler/Power Rusher w/ 92+ ACC -> DE (they will guaranteed have Platinum Quick Jump) DEPTH CONVERSIONS: Depth WRs that are fast and tall but probably won’t start -> TE Depth WRs that are fast but not tall and probably won’t start -> RB Depth Power Back RBs or Depth Blocking TEs -> FB Depth Hybrid S with >90 Speed -> CB Depth Hybrid/Run Support S w/ OLB/MLB Run Stopper DE -> DT I personally would like Jaden to cover what Defensive Schemes perform the best in Sim cause I like 4-3 cause I like to recruit the guaranteed Platinum Quick Jump ATHs for LE/RE but I wonder how the other schemes perform when recruited optimally
Also I think you have to change the XP sliders to get the proper development for some players like I usually make CBs get 150-200% XP and FS/SS get the highest because they develop the slowest in the game. TE also goes up to like 120-150 because they also develop too slowly. You can also decrease XP for O-Line since they develop too fast even trash archetypes like Pass Protector C/G
Use young safeties as subLB. You also have to tweak XP sliders for a lot of positions. You need elite dev & star dev players. Architect is clutch. Most players have caps.
How are you doing this in a fair way if they all don’t get the same playing time and collect the same amount of XP? You can’t discredit playing time of they’re going to be on the same team
Do QBs. I’ve noticed once I get into dynasty 90% of starting QBs end up being scramblers with annoying extender and magician perks and I wonder if that’s a recruit generation thing or a development thing. Thanks!
Great Video bro!! Quick Question If I Have an Elite Development TE Is it more beneficial to start him and up his receptions? Or do I start my high OVR TE while my Elite Freshman Develops on the bench??
If possible you should always redshirt as there is no real downside to having them have one extra year of development you should pretty much only start true freshman if you have literally no one better to start
The game automatically converts him into a vertical TE. That’s what I normally do, I use them strictly for the passing game, make sure he’s atleast 6”4 - 6”6 though
A little cheat to keep guys eligible that are going to declare for draft is edit awareness to 1 before players leaving screen and then return to whatever awareness they were before after draft and transfers declare
Hybrid safeties imo if they not able to contribute day 1 i usually changed them to corners especially if I need the depth because they hit or miss in the development category
@@scb083 yeah just move them to corner, I normally move them to corner then after like two seasons I’ll change them back to safety if I need to in the offseason
Possession ATH is the best TE build. They have the best skill caps. I had 2 of them get drafted within the first 3 rounds after applying this method.
What star were they I’m recruiting two ath 3 star possession te hopefully they will have good skill caps
@ Mines were 4 star ATH. I don’t know how well 3 star Possession ATH develop.
@@swolebodygaming5225 I agree but my only push back is they are really rare that they develop past 85 I only had 3 that has done that
Good to know

🐐
So I don't really waste time on TE unless he's 5 star and elite. I usually move a big physical WR that's fast . Usually works out great

I never realized the upgrade costs were so damn expensive for hybrids!
Good TEs are mostly 3 stars blockers and possession guys.
I needed this video
omg bro, I've been recruiting nothing but hybrids because they start so much better. And they never develop! This is huge.
2:35 skill caps and dev traits are directly correlated btw, so yes they do matter, as they are usually proportional
in my experience run support and zone have been by far the highest rated safteys ive had in all my time in dynasty
How are you doing this in a fair way if they all don’t get the same playing time and collect the same amount of XP? You can’t discredit playing time of they’re going to be on the same team
i’m like to do zone and run support for both my ss in my 3-3-5 d
When you do LBs an D-line do 4-3 and 3-4
Ok thanks for letting me know because they are hard to commit so I gave up

That depends on your coaching scheme.

Quick Question
If I Have an Elite Development TE
Is it more beneficial to start him and up his receptions?
Or do I start my high OVR TE while my
Elite Freshman Develops on the bench??
i don’t think stats affect development. I had a true freshman wr 78 ovr who went to 89 in one szn with no stats
If possible you should always redshirt as there is no real downside to having them have one extra year of development you should pretty much only start true freshman if you have literally no one better to start
Ok question if I take a physical wr and make him a TE do I make him vertical or a blocking TE

Safeties are underrated man. Tight Ends are overrated fully capped by the 2nd season red shirt or not
Hybrid safeties imo if they not able to contribute day 1 i usually changed them to corners especially if I need the depth because they hit or miss in the development category
@@scb083 Ok cool. I’m experimenting with moving a 5 Star Hybrid FS to CB. Hopefully his skill groups are cheaper at CB.

@ imma tell this they developed real good when u turn them into corners also try ath elusive back but they don always are fast
@@TruuCarter u took the words right out of my mouth especially if they have plus 94 speed
@ facts corner develops so well in this game no matter the archetype
Dont recruit TE just position change a WR to a TE in offszn
