The whole video is about him as a head coach. Not a coordinator. People don’t care about Super Bowls you win as a coordinator, it’s about as a head coach who runs the organization
@@TheCoachPlays I fully realize what you meant. And if you think "people don't care about Super Bowls you win as a coordinator," kindly explain why it is that offensive and defensive coordinators almost exclusively are the ones elevated to head coaching positions. You can bet General Managers care a whole lot if you won a couple of super bowls as a defensive or offensive coordinator. So just admit that YOU don't care, instead of trying to claim that everyone shares your flawed view of reality.
@@Unknown17 it’s not flawed, of course it matters and is a big reason for people getting elevated . I’m not an idiot, but in the history books , when written for Bill Belichick , it will state 6 Super Bowls titles. It won’t tack on 2 as a coordinator. Or it will be specific as 6 as HC and 2 as coordinator. In this video it’s about him as a HC, not anything else. Just because you win a Super Bowl as a coordinator, it doesn’t mean you are going to be a good HC
Sorry for so many comments. But Im 49 years old and been a pats fan my entire life! All these kids don't know how hard it was to be a Patriot's fan forever. They are all spoiled. We will rise again!
When NE was the cream of the crop... it was the combination of both Belichick and Brady... one without the other would have still done a great job but it took both of them to remain on top as long as they did. Great video Coach... Peace out
I'm not a Belichick or Brady guy but when you say (6:17) "It's Brady or it's Belichick guys, it is a marriage and you got have both ends of it to be very successful", it doesn't really ring true. When you look at Belichicks coaching record without Brady, including with the Browns, Belichick has a losing record without Brady. Of course, Brady went on and won another Super Bowl after leaving New England. Bill Belichcik hasn't had success since Tom Brady left. Even though there is always contributions from many different people when it comes to winning, especially in a team sport like football, it really seems like Brady was the reason for the winning.
100 percent, but here is a question for you. If Bill Belichick was the Bills Head Coach with Josh Allen, so you think the Bills would have a better chance at winning a Super Bowl. I do, which tells you that Allen and Bill would be a better marriage than Allen and the Bills current head coach Just food for thought
@@TheCoachPlays I agree with you. I think Sean McDermott is one of those coaches that can get you to a certain point but he can't take you all the way. The Bills are a good team and Josh Allen is great but there seem to be cracks in the armor. They haven't won and besides his attitude problem, Stefon Diggs was almost invisible this past season. At one point it sounded like Belichick might be waiting to see if the Bills lost without making it to the Super Bowl and there might be a Head Coach job opening up in Buffalo. It still wouldn't surprise me if that happens. McDermott is a nice guy but it may be time for a new voice in Buffalo, along with some other changes. Hmmm, AFC East? It almost sounds like it was written for movie.
He's 72 years old. Legendary career...will always be retired...be retired. Good lord enough of these boomers staying too late at the party. His baggage is a lot of coordinators who haven't excelled well at the coaching level when he leaves that team would suffer greatly.
And every damn team that passed on him, except for the Chargers, is going to massively regret their decision. Can't wait to see these touchy-feely young coaches crash and burn. And they will. And seriously...who in their right mind would hire Dan Quinn over Belichick? Absolutely ludicrous!
Bill should have applied as an HC only. No one is going to let him rip apart their whole program for a couple of years. Even then he's too cranky and old school to play for.
It is amazing how delusional people are. If you take Bill Belichick's entire coaching career, and then remove the games where he had Tom Brady as his quarterback, the guy has a losing record. A losing record spread out over four different decades. And without Tom Brady, he has exactly one playoff win in his entire career. A losing record and only one playoff win, without having the greatest quarterback of all time on your roster. Tom Brady left the team and the Patriots immediately sink to the basement, whereas Tom goes and wins the Super Bowl with the very first team he lands on. That should tell you all you need to know about the credit going where.
Guys like Bill and Andy Reid are so weird to me to NOT want to retire? I'm Reid's age and retired last year. As much as I loved my career that's not ALL there is in life, IMO. There are other things to do and I didn't want to die on the job.
Name one team that was in search of a head that has more wins than him during his NFL career name one team that was in search of a head that has more playoff wins and/or appearances then he does all of the teams combined don't have as many super bowl appearances and/or wins then this great man 🤦🏾♂️💯💯😊
He asked Patriots owner to fire him, I thought he went to Atlanta. Since nobody hired him, maybe he did some rethinking and decided it's time to retire.
Bad Bill wants all the power to pick his players bit he didnt do so good in New England. Some great moves but some bad moves but all coaches make mistakes. I would have been a fan of his until the cheating
At his age idk if he should just give up coaching and maybe do some tv stuff instead. I think Washington should of took Him but maybe the age has scared a lot of teams off?
He needs to retire and just enjoy his golden years, what else does he have to prove? I pity workaholics like him. They accomplish so much but can't be bothered to enjoy it because they're addicts

That may be the most cherry picked, non-sensical garbage stat/take in history... He won 25% of SB during his 24yr run. End of arguments Opposing HoF QB's faced in SB? Seriously. 1) who gives a #%^* 2) what percentage of losing SB QB's make the HoF period throughout history? He just retired. How many are even eligible 3) so any player that doesn't end up in the HoF auto qualifies as garbage according to your infinite logic? Want me to keep going?
Tom Brady won 7 and went to 10 Superbowls , while Bill won 6 and went to 9. That’s what I meant to say . SMH 🤦
WRONG. Bill has a total of EIGHT Super Bowl titles. Quit trying to diminish his accomplishments.

He'd make a decent defensive coordinator but that's about it
I'm not surprised that no NFL team wants a sith lord as part of their coaching staff.
Yea these woke players nowadays need their hand held and cuddles. Soft... like your moms lips.
Look at Brady's speech Tom gives all his credit to Bill. It was both of them together that won all those bowls.
He needs to break Don Shula's record. He will be a head coach again for sure!
