    He called Kraft a racist. And Kraft is the one who hired him. This is the level of insanity we have reached in this country.

    Failure before the first game. This is a DEI hire no doubt. For years noone has gotten paid in New England except for Belichick and Brady. Now that they are both gone they can give table scraps to this foolish child and he'll be run out in 3 years or less.

    The dynasty died when Brady left. Racism exists and so does reverse racism . But u have to understand most of it is a grift, so it isn’t going away.

      Acknowledging the existence of reverse discrimination does not dismiss or diminish the ongoing impact of systemic racism on marginalized communities. Addressing and rectifying these historical and ongoing imbalances is essential to achieve racial equity and justice.
      Promoting wise and reasonable clarity in your response entails acknowledging the importance of understanding the broader societal context when discussing racism and discrimination. This includes recognizing that systemic racism exists and has disproportionately affected particular groups while also acknowledging that individual instances of reverse discrimination can occur. We can work towards a more inclusive and just society for all by fostering understanding and empathy.

    Merit should be why a hire is made NOT skin color or gender

    • @gentrismoore7566

      However, Martin Luther King Jr. did not advocate for a color-blind society as it is often interpreted today. While he famously spoke about judging individuals based on their character rather than their skin color, this does not imply ignoring or dismissing the significance of race and the impact of systemic racism.
      Color blindness, when it comes to race, is a concept that many people advocate for, believing that it promotes equality and eliminates discrimination. However, I argue that color blindness is a disability that hinders our ability to address and rectify the continued problem of restricted access experienced by people of color.

      "MLK's words remain as relevant today as they were in the 1960s. He acknowledged the racial injustices of his time and advocated for addressing and rectifying them. We must recognize that we are still deeply ingrained in areas where disparities persist. By constantly highlighting 'first black' achievements or 'first black' individuals in certain positions, we are reminded that the experiences of people of color are different, and deep-seated segregation still exists. Choosing to be color-blind perpetuates racism by ignoring these ongoing disparities.
      It is essential to acknowledge and address race-based disparities instead of pretending they do not exist. While some politicians may push agenda-driven disinformation, upholding King's vision of equality and justice for all is crucial. The fight persists no matter who's at the helm; understanding it means being aware of the problems and working to correct them.

    I mean to say that right off the bat in your introductory head coach speech, I think it looks bad. He should being talking first about bringing the wining ways back to the Patriot organization. He waz hired not bc he is black but bc he played for the Patriot organization and they wanted someone from the Patriot family to take them back to the top.

    • @gentrismoore7566
      @gentrismoore7566 8 місяців тому

      With my highest salutation and most humble respect, Let me share this information for clarity in the history of MLK.
      Looking back at history, you will find that Martin Luther King Jr. did not advocate for a color-blind society as it is often interpreted today. While he famously spoke about judging individuals based on their character rather than their skin color, this does not imply ignoring or dismissing the significance of race and the impact of systemic racism.
      King acknowledged the reality of racial injustices and advocated for addressing and rectifying these injustices. His work aimed to dismantle segregation, combat discrimination, and ensure equal opportunities for all, particularly for Black Americans who had long been marginalized and oppressed. He recognized the importance of acknowledging and addressing race-based disparities rather than pretending they do not exist.
      Therefore, in considering the concept of color blindness, it is essential to understand that it does not align with the vision and beliefs of Martin Luther King Jr. Rather, his ideals centered around achieving racial equality, justice, and inclusivity through acknowledging and confronting the systemic injustices and barriers faced by marginalized communities.
      Thank you for pointing out this misconception, and I hope this clarification provides a better understanding of Martin Luther King Jr.'s perspective on the issue.

    We have football uniforms for that exact reason.....everyone is the same and has the same value as a teammate.

    • @gentrismoore7566
      @gentrismoore7566 8 місяців тому

      The uniforms distinguish one team from the other on the field of competition. Gestalt understanding. To understand why color blindness is a disability, we must examine our historical fight for human rights. Throughout our history, we have strived to free Black Americans from bondage and fight for equality. From slavery, the black codes, and Jim Crow laws to the right to vote and the ideology portrayed of black people in highly politicized imagery of the media and The Birth of a Nation, our society has been shaped by systemic racism. Even today, we witness disparities that persist because we still highlight the "first black" achievement or the "first black" individual to hold a particular position. This constant recognition of color-coded identity markers serves as a reminder that the experiences of people of color are different, and by choosing to be color-blind, we perpetuate racism.

      @@gentrismoore7566 Dude, I can tell you didn't play or you played for a crappy coach. The first thing a good coach teaches you on day one is you have no friends when you strap up and you're all the same...no one wearing your team's uniforms is any better or worse than anyone else on your team....doesn't matter who their daddy is, what their address is or what they look like. Hard work and dedication can make or break you and that's it...even the most talented players who are lazy don't make it. NO ONE who is taken seriously as a coach has time to talk about racism...you're too busy teaching the game and trying to win games.

    I think seeing color is important for ending ethnocentrism, but racism? I don’t think so.

    • @gentrismoore7566
      @gentrismoore7566 7 місяців тому

      Understanding the Interconnection of Color and Racism in Combating Ethnocentrism
      While it is crucial to recognize color as a means to combat ethnocentrism, it is equally important to understand the interconnectedness between color and racism. These two concepts cannot be viewed separately, as they are deeply intertwined in our history and societal structures. By delving deeply into our history, we can comprehend how ethnocentrism and racism are interconnected and how color has played a significant role in perpetuating systemic biases. Only through this comprehensive understanding can we effectively address and dismantle these harmful ideologies to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
      Let me cascade to the conclusion and emphasize the importance of acknowledging color-coded identity markers. Change can only happen when we address the problematic conditions of our reality, and ignoring the impact of these markers can perpetuate the systemic biases that have historically shaped our society. However, recognizing their significance in using identity markers will not promote negative regression. Instead, it allows us to address the systemic biases and work towards a more inclusive and advanced quality of life experience in society.
