I got the Series 10 in silver and I love it. The Jet Black is gorgeous but I was afraid of getting it because I don’t think the glossy finish it’s going to age well.
Love the way the jet black Apple Watch looks. It’s not gonna be a problem with scratches any more than the polished stainless steel and titanium watches. It was very noticeable on iPhone because it was big, like if the made an iPhone out of polished titanium or stainless steel it would show scratches like hell lol
That’s a good point! Jet Black looks so good but, I know the Titanium is gonna match better with more bands 😄 We’ll have to see how it looks after 5 years like my Stainless Steel 5 👀
I got the jet black today without knowledge of the potential scratch problems. I started to get the titanium but the jet black looked so much better than my Series 9 Black matte finish which looked toy-like. I don’t want scratches. I’m tempted to take it back.
@@JCKRGB I’ve come from a space grey series 5 space grey aluminium and mine held up really well over 5 years. There were a few scuffs on mine too but when you wear them that long, it’s part of the character.
I got the series 10 jet black and just today on day one whacked it badly against the bottom of my work desk. After frantic inspection not a mark on it! I’m impressed but still being tempted by that titanium and may end up returning it for either the natural or gold options.
If you use the cellular on your watch, the difference is $ 200. $ 499 vs $ 699 for 42 mm. We don’t take AppleCare on the titanium with sapphire but would on the aluminum. That discounts it to a difference of $ 140 or so. My wife just got the titanium. Worth the $ 140 extra? Yes if you plan to get 4 years out of it. Less likely for a cracked screen over 4 years. No if you trade frequently. The trade in value is about the same.
@@JCKRGB but then I’m looking forward to battery life. I would highly think that the Titanium will still degrade over time the same rate as the Aluminum. So longevity wise I’m not getting anything more 😭
Good choice for durability, Jack. On wrist, overall color differences don’t look very distinct. Have they added any new features to the remote camera app? (Would make a good vid, IMO.) What will you do with the old watch? Nice “pop” sound, BTW😊. I’ll pass on the freckle count😊. Cheers!
Yeah, with the front being all screen, it’s difficult to notifier the difference! But the Titanium will match better with straps have the metal lug attachments. So will look better with a fancier strap! No new Camera Remote features that I can see! Thanks for watching Paul! ✌🏻
I don’t have the Jet Black with the Black Sport Band anymore but I did try before! Looks amazing on the Natural Titanium, honestly all straps look so good with the Titanium 😄 Thanks for watching! ✌🏻
Hello. First of all, thank you for the video. I want to buy Watch 10 but I have a question. Is the analog watch wallpaper on the Watch Titanium model also available on the regular Jet Black Watch 10? Or is there just a digital clock inside?
The main difference between the Aluminium & Titanium is their case materials. They have all the same apps & watch faces, with lots of digital and analog options. Apple has a list of the faces here: support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/watch/apde9218b440/watchos
coming from a series 5 also! thanks for the comparison - I thought I was going to go with the jet black but went and looked in store, the gold titanium with the light blush solo loop (similar to the starlight) *chefs kiss* I hate that it's $300 more though...especially since I don't need cellular
You’re welcome, thanks for watching! The gold looks very classy, enjoy it! And same, never needed cellular but I would like to try it out with the Series 10 as it feels more capable standalone than the slow S5. Really like that there’s an on-screen keyboard on the 10! ✌🏻
I have the natural titanium on order with natural Milanese band for a classy look. I’m also planning on getting the stone grey Apple Watch band for other times as I think that colour will provide the best contrast. However the jet black with the grey sports band also looks amazing and is £300 cheaper. The only thing I’m not sure about is the casing colour of the titanium. It’s not as shiny as stainless steel, and I’ve heard the titanium looks dull in comparison
Great combo! Yeah the Aluminium ones are so much less, it makes the Titanium harder to go for when it’s 300 more for essentially the same watch. Honestly I’m person the Titanium looks a lot shinier than I was expecting. I’d say a duller shade, but still looks very classy. Hope you get yours soon! ✌🏻
2000 nits. No way. Not even 800 nits in real use. Please check the Samsung Watch 7 which doubles this Apple watch brightness and dont even claim 2000 nits.
So.. Jet Black Aluminium or Natural Titanium? ⌚👀

Amazing! Loving the Series 10 as well. And yeah, if it’s anything like the iPhone 7, just looking at the Jet Black will scratch it 😄

What's the material that touches the skin? Is it just glass on the back? So, is the aluminum and titanium just the frame?

Two nice watches I agree the black will scratch easily, nice video . I’ll be sticking with my series 8 😊
Not me am upgrading 😊 I need a new upgrade 😊
Yeah, I think the Titanium will hold up much better over time! Thanks for watching!✌🏻
I bought the series 10 jet black and it doesn’t feel like it’ll scratch easily. Not planning on whacking it against any walls though.
Never my plan either but my old Series 5 took a few bumps 😄 Jet Black looks so good! Enjoy! ✌🏻

@henners88 Nice! And I agree, never like the look of Apple Watch cases, would rather it have some character!

@carriebefort7106 ahh!! Those few moments of panic are the worst 😄 Glad it turned alright though. Still loving the Titanium after the first few days!

I love jet black watch
Looks so good! 🔥
I’m still thinking if I should get a Titanium version. I’m using SE now and I’m trying to justify the price of the Titanium 😅
Yeah it’s a massive price gap! Gotta have the extra durability haha. And it still looks so good a few weeks later! ✌🏻

I have the titanium one
Titanium Gang 👊🏻
Nice comparison! Thanks! I got the 46mm natural titanium! Have to have the sapphire crystal!
Thanks for watching! Agreed, sapphire crystal is a must! ✌🏻
Amazing watches! Jet Black is gorgeous!
Could you tell what is your wrist size?
It looks amazing! My wrist is about 18cm ✌🏻

I guess for me color doesn’t matter since I am getting a case.
That’s true! Thanks for watching! ✌🏻

I’ll trust your counting 😄
Slate Titanium 46mm for me and it’s a ripper.👏🇦🇺
Love it. Titanium club ✌🏻
The polished titanium looks cheap to me. No idea why
I still have a series 1 going strong debating on the 10 or ultra 2
Oh wow! How is the battery life? 😅
Great video! I’m curious how the natural titanium version looks with the black sports band. Have you tried? How does it look.
I don’t have the Jet Black with the Black Sport Band anymore but I did try before! Looks amazing on the Natural Titanium, honestly all straps look so good with the Titanium 😄 Thanks for watching! ✌🏻
natural titanium is soo good this time
Few days in now and loving it! ⌚️✌🏻
