This is THE SHOW. THE GOAT. Watch it with respect and attention. You cannot tear your gaze away from the subs. If you do you'll miss things and be confused. EVERY THING MATTERS IN THIS SHOW, EvERY CHARACTER and EVERY DIALOGUE. So please do not watch it lazily. If you pay attention and analyse things I'm sure you'll get blown away how amazing this is. AoT is like life who punches you with the harsh reality that it isn't always rainbow and sunshine. After a hit to the gut in first episode this show will ease them up just to then give them another punches straight to the face and wake them up. It is supposed to be before the INTRO of this episode. If it's NOT there in your version, kindly find the one that does. ALSO, the 2 pictures shown at the intermission of every episode is very crucial in understanding of this SHOW.

Why do you feel the need to mystify this, it's an anime production based on Isayama's manga. It's a great anime for sure but it's still an anime.
