I'm assuming I'm gonna have to wait until they start releasing DLCs again before they give us Spooky theming, but if they at least give us the original themes from the base game, that's something. It will be a lot easier to do "mock" Spooky with Western and Fairytale elements than it is with Viking and Mythology.
6:23 Maybe just hopeful thinking, but I think this might be referring to some of the DLC flat rides from PC1. Admittedly I just really want Horror Heights lol
very cool with the roadmap, even if I'm still missing a lot. Where is the option for roads without kerbs or a smaller employee path? It can't be that difficult... And free rides are great, but hardly anyone is waiting for Pathos 3, as we already have a lot of higher revolving rides. The classics like the venetian carousel, Condor, break dancer and of course most importantly ROCKTOPUS are missing, kids rides also in generally 😍 And there are so many ready-made shops that we haven't received that we could donate some every month:-) In any case, I expect an old theme for free in Q1 after the stumble start, preferably horror, so that we can finally build dark rides, then I will pay for Pirates or Westerns, no problem... I'm also curious to see what mechanics await us for the hotels, restaurants and walk-in shops, which they have also omitted for the time being... But it's definitely getting better bit by bit👍, even if a lot of things have been left out unnecessarily as standard...
I already think the game is better than the original and I personally haven’t had many issues and with all these updates it’s clearly going to get a lot better and I can’t wait. Way to go Frontier for makeing the best coaster game. To be fair with the February update while I agree that I wish it was January these things do take time and bug fixing and etc and the whole issue of where it has to be to a certain stability and weeks for consel to approve of an update or game so that’s probly why!
I have loved the game so far and it just needs the features that were missing that were in the the first game which it seems like most of those will be back after these updates!
@@bananogamer6972 what if they rushed the game because they were running out of budget, but they love their product so they wanted to give us the best product possible, but for that they needed more budget so they rounded it off early? The game is pretty damn in a good place right now, after these first next 2 updates, the game is permanently pinned above Planco 1 for me, I know that people with your opinion are hard to convince with just a comment, but I've had so much more fun with this game than I ever had in my years of Planco 1, it's unreal how great this game is, at least what's there already, and with everything I wanted to see (besides the endless list of coaster types) basically being added in update 2, I could not be more hyped! I hope you can open up a bit more to this game, purely because I don't want people to miss out on the fun I have had with this game:) Oh and I am a paid secret agent for Frontier MUAHAHAHAHAHA That last bit was a joke, sorry for that one, I swear I'm not a secret agent..
I don't think it will be that long. Honestly after these updates it will be really good. Most of if not all of the planco 1 features will be back after these updates. I'm sure we have a lot of dlc over the next how ever many years though.
I need every piece rotatable and resizable. And i do like the grid but i feel like we should be able toggle it on or off idk if thats possible in the game.
I think getting PC1 content would depend on if and how drastic a conversion would be to bring over the old content to the new game. Maybe for original content holders a "DLC" could be free and for new purchases it would be say a third or so of the price of an actual new DLC for users that didn't have it previously. Maybe like a greatest hits pack from PC1. That way it doesn't take up as much time and they still get something for new users purchasing it to cover costs. That way projected free content for the new game doesn't also get overwhelmed or pushed aside. Really depends on the workload I think to see if it's worth bringing back too much from the original game.
@ what dlc did you get? Some people are unaware that getting the deluxe edition does not get you all paid dlc. it just gets the dlc that came out with the game at launch which was the vintage ride pack. the thrill seekers dlc is a separate purchase. if you bought the thrill seekers dlc does it show that it ahs been purchased on the store page? Again I would contact Frontier about it.
Might be little to late. They released a broken game with little new content. Also dirty practices and that whole thing with the switch tracks. I got swarmed by people saying everything was good with the game but the player count says otherwise. They have no one to blame but themselves.
At least they're making an effort to make things right. most companies would act like everything is okay. They came out and admitted they messed up and now are focused on free content updates that are fixing pretty much all the concerns. Pretty much all games release in a bad state these days and has become the normal. it's sucks but that's how it is. After these updates come out the game will be really good. I'm glad they have decided to listen to the feedback and quickly act upon it. It doesn't excuse how the game launched but at least the game is getting to where it should of been at launch.
And I love the game it is great already with some realy good new features with a lot of returning features, looks top tier, and etc so I got nothing bad to say about it
@@Starlit43 There's bugs but to say the game isn't miles ahead of the first is crazy. Basically everything is better and it has the same amount of content that the first game had at release. I think people often forget how little was actually in PC1 on the release.
I think dlc will come along side, seen as this is all “free updates”. 5-6 months is a long time between launch and a fleshed out dlc

I heard that they are working on February update with old planet coaster 1 themes which will have spooky scenery items
They need to add the OG Air Race back 😢
I hope they bring back the stamp tool for que lines. Or at least the square edges for the que paths.
peculiar that it specifically says "new features" for update 4, I'm calling it, Blitz/swing launches
Watch this space? That's probably the looping starship
They need to allow blue prints and prebuilt objects to be attachable to the animation objects.
Scenery rotation toggle just means it'll randomly rotate trees, bushes and rocks when placing them.
I see! That makes sense and would be great!

Admittedly I just really want Horror Heights lol
I’m hoping in the future we also get an update like ghostbusters but different maybe like Harry Potter
I wonder if they will look into the friction for each coaster
I did find it weird that they made coasters a global setting and the flumes have individual.

Why are the avatar voices all high pitched
I could see making parks bigger in one of the last two months and weather changes
Really would love to have bigger maps and also having the scenario editor again
I actually predicted the first with normal coaster trains with a video so I’m happy
Yeah maybe in 6 years I'm gonna buy the game. So i buy a finished product hehe
