@@brianpreston8483 That is a one off tiny island. Bigger nations will certainly have to deploy measures to combat sea level rise. Mortgage brokers are banking on the fact the government won't abandon coastal communities. 👍

I found this really cool place called the 'Internet' (It allowed you to see this video in the first place).You can find all kinds of information if you have 5 minutes to spare.
Lease hold means you never own the land but only lease it. To own the land you need Free Hold land.

Abel Tasman ain't discovered sh!t here in Fiji. He was just an explorer that happened to stumble across Fiji, while it was already inhabited by our ancestors hundreds of years before he arrived please get your facts right before u try and sell a property here in Fiji to avoid insulting us natives.
I don't think people with enough money to buy this are stupid enough to do it. It's obvious that the island is drowning. The aerial footage shows that the island was much bigger and most of it is gone already.
This project will need some serious money to bring it up a habitable condition even before you can reside there. Then due to its remote location will cost a serious fortune to get there. A waste of dollars in anyones money.
