      @@dirtymcgirty11 have you changed your audio output back to the GoXLR system? Or the routing for the sliders may have changed, the issue I had for a while was that it automatically would change the audio source from goxlr system to my Logitech G ProX headset.
      In the audio tab in settings, scroll down to the advanced tab and where it says volume mixer select that and next to each running audio source there is a drop down arrow that will bring up input and output sources, change the output to whatever slider you want it to be connected to and then leave input as default, see if that helps the issue.

    I wish there was a good solution for this that doesn't have the latency. I currently have my speakers, then I have a 3.5mm headset plugged into the mini. I like it because I don't have to do anything to switch between my headset and speakers, it plays in both all the time. My spakers have a remote with mute so to use headset I Just hit mute.
    I can't find any good options to switch between headet and speakers.

    Hi, with this connection, for some reason the sound jumps in volume, mostly it is quiet, but periodically becomes loud as it should be, for a few seconds, then again the sound is spoiled, different 3.5mm cable tried, did not help, direct connection from goxlr to headphones all clearly works

      I had the same issue when I had tried this method before. For me, the issue was my motherboard. I tested it on some friends boards as well, I figured out that with an MSI board(newer versions mostly) there is something in the audio processing that affects the sound. The only one I never had an issue with wireless headphones wise, was the Astro A50’s

    Hey! So I’m trying to see if the new Astro A50X would work since there’s no AUX on the new base station. Trying to run a line in from the headphone jack on the GoXLR to the line in on PC. I then set the line in to be monitored by the ASTRO’s. However, the audio that plays does NOT sound crisp and clear like when it’s directly from the goXLR. It seems like windows or my motherboard audio is doing some awful processing. For reference I have the ASUS ROG x570 Crosshair VIII Formula motherboard. High quality board so I’d think the audio would be great from it. Do you have any ideas or recommendations? Ideally I’d just love for the audio to pass through with no processing but I don’t think that’s possible

      Are you asking about using the attached mic to a headset instead of an external mic? If I am being 100% honest, I have not attempted to use this method before, but you might be able to get one of those headphones/microphone splitters and plug that into the base of the 3.5mm cable and run that to the GLI and to your pc from there. I’m not 100% sure on that though

      @@ddixxonn OK. I guess I have to just try. :) I have read on some other videos about this that there is a 1/20 sec delay on all sounds using this method. For example delayed sound from shots in FPS games. Is that true? I guess there is no other method to use except buying a headset where the receiver also has a aux port to connect the goxlr to?

    • @ddixxonn
      @ddixxonn  2 роки тому

      @@Mickemukk whenever I have used this method, I haven’t noticed any sort of delay in audio from FPS games or anything like that, the only time I have delay is if I have mic monitor turned on and my voice is about 1 second delayed. But if you get something like the astro a50’s or the arctis steelseries wireless ones that have the base option, it’s a much smoother experience and there is far less issues. However if you use the astro a40 base, that has some issues with audio.

      @@ddixxonn OK. 1 second sounds a lot, I read about 30 ms which some people still hates. 😆 But it's only for mic monitoring? I don't have to use that since I'm not streaming.

      @ddixxonn  2 роки тому +1

      @@Mickemukk yeah that’s the only delay that I get. But I will say this too, I am pretty sure it’s just because of the motherboard that I have, but, I have been getting an issue recently that the audio through tc helicon system audio source sounds more muffled and then when I get into a game like apex or COD the audio whenever I shoot gets really loud and then drops back down to what I had the audio at. But like I said, I am 99% certain that it’s my motherboard because the previous one I had did not do that

    • @ddixxonn
      @ddixxonn  2 роки тому

      I was having an issue with that and I figured out that it was the motherboard that I had and for some reeason it was causing the line-in audio to drop off and then in game get super super loud. So I swapped motherboards and that did the trick, for whatever reason

      @@ddixxonn hey thx for the reply.. that’s kind of an extreme fix. It’s a brand new board. I wonder if there’s some kind of software related thing I can try. Possibly the bios or drivers.. idk. Hopefully another solution presents itself.

    • @ddixxonn
      @ddixxonn  2 роки тому

      @@ThatActorGuyAdamson the other problem I was thinking that could be the issue within my own, if you have the HD audio cord plugged in on the motherboard, there might be something turned on in the realtek audio control that alters the audio to drastically change like that. I never looked into that on my own

    • @mysticdream
      @mysticdream 2 роки тому

    • @mysticdream
      @mysticdream 2 роки тому

      I noticed that the reason might be due to the sound itself. It seems that every time there is no sound, the audio cuts out and reconnects again, rather than always having audio available. Almost like it is gated. I wonder if there are any fixes for this

    if there’s a vocal delay would there also be a delay of things like gunshots from in game? (i don’t understand how it’s only the microphone that gets delayed)

    • @ddixxonn
      @ddixxonn  2 роки тому

      There is no delay in any other sound. Typically when you use wireless headphones with any type of audio interface and you want to monitor your voice, there is a delay in the sound of your voice. Not entirely sure why that issue happens, but no, all other sounds are accurate and as they should be

      @@ddixxonn thats not entirely true. I tested this with my GOXLR that also goes out to my hifi system. the Sound on the hifi system is 0 delayed and the sound on my headphones is delayed by arround 3/4 of a second. you can test it your self by using 2 devices.
      the windows loop via line in does produce a delay.

    I am currently having problems running a dual pc stream setup with a go xlr mini. I have the wired G pro X and if i plug the headset into the headset port on the XLR mini I don’t get to use the Logitech G hub benefits and I can also hear myself in the mic which I don’t like.
    Do you know any work around to using the headset via usb directly to the gaming pc. While still being able to hear in game gameplay ? Bc otherwise either the sound of the game goes to stream or to my headset and not both

    • @ddixxonn
      @ddixxonn  2 роки тому +1

      I also use the wired G Pro X but I just use the headset in line, you can always turn off being able to hear your voice in the routing table, the very first box that is in the top left corner about mic and headphones, just de select it and you wont hear your voice.
      As far as being able to use your GHub app control and have the audio come through the headset and to your stream there is gonna be a few steps you gotta do. 1) you have to follow the steps I said in the video for connecting a usb mic to your pc. 2) there are gonna be a couple 3.5mm cables that you will need to run from your GoXLR mini to your stream PC. You need to run one cable from your line in of your go xlr mini to the line out of your stream pc. Then run another cable from the line out of the GoXLR mini to the line in of your stream pc.
      In your routing table you’ll need to adjust the routing. In the first column under mic, you’ll have everything selected except for headphones. In the second column chat, you’ll have the first 2 boxes underneath check marked so headphones and broadcast stream mix. Leave the game block unchecked all the way down. Then under the system tab you’ll select headphones and broadcast stream mix. And in the line in tab the only thing you’ll want selected is headphones.
      From there, on your stream pc, in OBS, your auxiliary mic option in settings should be set to line in, from there you should be good to go.
