Thinking of buying on of these used and seller has it broken down already. Whether they have a manual or not, I'm using this video! Hell of a job, and I'm not all the way through yet! Lol
Just curious , I’m with a company that has assigned me a bunk bed installation order. This same type of bunk bed in the video. They are only trying to pay me 120 for pick up delivery and install. What would You say a fair price would be for this type of work ? Would really appreciate your professional opinion. Thank you
Hey there! $120 isn’t terrible, but can end up being not such a great deal depending on a couple of factors: (1) How far you have to travel to pick up and deliver; (2) whether or not you have to rent a vehicle to transport the bed; and (3) whether or not pickup has to be done on a day prior to installation. If miles traveled exceeds 10 miles, or if any rental fees are incurred, or if pickup/delivery/install stretches over a two day period then $120 wouldn’t suffice. Something to take into consideration is if you are trying to build a business and fill your calendar then you should consider the $120 for an opportunity to provide a great service and LEAVE A BUSINESS CARD. Years ago, I would take on jobs for much less than I would today in order to potentially get future business, and it worked! It’s a more forward-thinking mentality, but it comes down to your individual situation.
We bought this with the trundle bed addition. We were seeing people were waiting almost 2 months to get their beds. Received in barely 2 weeks, This video was amazing! So thankful for the detailed steps and pointing out specifics to keep in mind when putting each piece together. I did have a couple questions. First Question- will the trundle just slide underneath or will it be attached to the bottom frame underneath somehow? Second Question- when you get to the steps starting at 11:30, the slats don't appear to fully cover the width so I'm assuming you just make it as even as possible. Are you putting in the screws at an angle? It looks like you were and the diagram seems to show the same BUT wanted to confirm before I broke something. Thanks in advance!
Hey there! This particular video doesn’t include a trundle bed, so I am assuming you meant to leave this comment on the bed assembly video I made that included the trundle bed. But to answer your first question, the trundle bed doesn’t attach to the bottom frame. It has rollers on the bottom so you can slide it out completely if you need to quickly get underneath the bed. To answer your second question, the screws that go into the slats should be inserted at an angle. The pilot holes for the screws are angled as well so you won’t have to determine the angle for yourself. Hope this helps !
Hi there! I think that would depend on how big the adults are. I’m sure, technically, it could fit adults. But would the sleep be comfortable? I’m not so sure. The top is a standard twin size bed, and the bottom is a standard full size bed.
@@bryanalvarado9413 They give you (3) allen wrenches and then you also need a Philips screwdriver. (I would recommend a powered drill/screwdriver thought) I just put this together by myself and yes, took about 2-2 1/2 hrs. It was easier than expected and I am surprised how sturdy the bed is. We are very happy with the purchase.
Could not have assembled this without your video! Thank you so much!!
Lifesaver! I have to build this tomorrow. Wish you were in vegas😂

Thank you for the video. I wish the manuals showed which screws were for which pieces!

Awesome video! Thank you 🙏
Bruh you saved me time thank you
Hi, would applying wood glue help to strengthen the structure?
Yes 100% !!
Thanks, for replying so quickly... I'll be starting after coffee, 😂
Will this sleep 3 adults?

I think the manufacturer rates to 400lbs top and 400lbs bottom
Does Max & Lily use real wood? No MDF or particleboard? Seems good, just wanted a confirmation if possible.
All solid wood for the beds I’ve assembled!
What drill bit is that?
How many hours did it take to build?
Hey there! About 2 hours for us. But we’ve assembled this bed many times. For most with less experience, it will likely take longer.
What tools did you use?
