I have a old sleigh bed that was built in 1865.
Actually I have a set.
The sleigh bed and the matching dresser.
Which is made out of a real wood laminate. It's a beautiful blond wood.
I don't know what kind of wood it is. But it's awesome.
And for being how old it is, it shows NO wear and tear at all.
Stupid people think, oh its a laminate it must be garbage and won't last. They couldn't be more wrong.
Just like everything in life. If you take care of something, it will last for ever.
The one thing that concerns me about your beautiful product.
Is the weight.
Shoot you got to have at least 50 pounds of metal in that thing.
And it's got to weigh a ton.
To where one person would have a hard time moving it into their house. Let alone a bedroom.
Well with that said.
I really enjoyed your video. And the process you used to achieve your goal.
It's a fine piece of furniture. That will last for many decades, I'm sure.

As for weight, it comes apart and can be assembled with nut and bolts so one can carry them wherever they want and assemble it there.

The problem today is that people comment on things They dont understand. Like why not use Nailguns, why plywood etc. this is what social media does to people, it makes theire brains slow as snails
It's hard for workers they don't seem to be paid well

Carpenters here find the traditional method better we do have nail gun though
Come on. How can you expect them to get those nice sideways nails that have to be ground down using a nail gun?
most dangerous and unsafe while cutting the plywood. No protection for the carpenter - How many accidents till date ? but the work is great only more safety is required

And this workers are very highly skilled and are trained to work this way from their early work days so that hasn’t been a problem
The product with be useless one you dropped a cup of water on it
If regular plywood is used than that might be the case but this is waterproof plywood
And my friend even regular plywood stays fine with a cup of water, its not like room might get flooded, and its a necessary item for home
