It's because Sarah Michelle Gellar was absolutely exhausted out of her skull when they were filming that scene. 17 hour days for months on end. So he was mostly sorry he was giving her more work to do.

Buffy was shot on actual film. It wasn't digital. So simply deleting the funny footage and moving on wasn't an option. Actors then tended to have a different structure to "bloopers" because the film was physically rolling and being used up.
Great out takes, best of all it really gave the impression that they had a lot of fun and real camaraderie among all of the cast . The show itself had that feeling about it, but then they are all actors, so you never really know. This was just great, thanks for the upload :)
I dunno watching the on&off camera seems to show there is great synergy and appreciation between cast members. You can usually tell a bit if the cast of a show doesn’t really click especially in the off camera/post production footage.
Wops is a racial insult towards Italians, not WAP. That's why David is embarrassed and it's funny. If you are wondering he was supposed to say wasp. David has a great sense of humor and personality, his outtakes are some of the best on Angel as well.

There was way too much sex on this show. I love sex, and I love the show, but it got to the point where people became disinterested in the story and became obsessed with who was sleeping with who. Buffy who was the lead character lost her integrity by sleeping with half the cast.
Queenof Thenight in a show of 144 episodes she sleeps with 4 men two of which are vampires. Two of which she only does it once with. Most importantly it's real. We all search for comfort in others. That's why I'm seasons 7 Buffy and spike shut spend the night sleeping. He quotes it to be the best night of his existence. As a centuries old creature it gives some level to what sex means. The show treats sex with enough observance but not an over saturation of it.
