Such a unique motorbike. I've watched several of your videos of bikes with the K68 carbs. I'm in the USA and am contemplating installing a set of K68 carbs on my 1977 Triumph 750 Silver Jubilee. The AMAL 930 carbs are just completely worn out. So bad that fuel ends up ON TOP of the carburetor slide... which obviously causes a very rich condition that cannot be tuned out. I've actually seen 2 pairs of Amal carbs with this strange problem. One pair of MK2, and a pair of 930s. Apparently, the slides wear out and allow fuel to creep up the sides and pool on top. That is the ONLY possible explanation that I have for the phenomenon. I know for a fact that the floats and needle aren't the cause. New AMAL 930 carbs are out of my budget, and the K68 looks to be a very well engineered carburetor. I really like that they have a tickler and cold start valve fitted. I think I'll make the purchase tomorrow. Thanks for the videos! Have a great day and ride safe!
