Greet tip on using the miter saw clamp. I saw a video where the guy was cutting a small brass bar and he was holding it down with his hand but it kicked back into his thumb. He was lucky. It looked painful but it could’ve been worse. Same thing could easily happen with wood.
Oi Oi, get you with your new trendy work wear, liken it. Like the wrist straps to prevent snagging. Think you might be a secret trend setter. Also nice vid. One ops, with the table saw, don't stop machine while material is not clear of blade. Push through the piece of material completely on the fence side, don't worry if you do not have a out feed table, let it fall to the floor. The non fence side normally moves clear of the blade. This process prevents binding, flipping up and kick back. Keep it up dude. (Stanley may not be so grumpy if he was fitted with a nice set of ear defenders,)
The jacket is for Woodturning it’s superb, sort of hides my belly 🤣 yes deffo took that onboard about the table saw I’m just getting used to using it. It’s the only time Stanley is awake when I’m out front working.
Hi mate. Down in Bristol here. Loved watching three of your vids so far 👍 Just wanted to advise on potential future bird box making, I'd leave the perch and "ledge" off as birds such as woodpeckers, crows, magpies etc use them to perch and predate the young. Apart from that, it's a go to A1 project (meant as constructive & not preaching). Keep it going. I definitely relate to these kind of channels.
Cheers fella, yes I’ve done some research about perches and your 100% correct.. don’t ever worry about saying what you want 👌 other people will now read this thread and learn from it so it’s all a winner winner Welcome 🛠️👌
Yes it hurts when u see offcuts & scrap go onto the log burner, I’ll do a lot of different projects with them. Yes near the 1k but my main objective is making the videos better. Thank you 👌🛠️
Hi Billy, I am a fan of scrap wood, pallet wood or just some one giving me wood. Some times if I need wood I can get it from where my brother works or there is a stall at the car boot sale ready striped down pallets for 50p a length. The things you can make from scrap wood like your planter and bird house or making a screwdriver rack for the workshop. It's good what you can make with what you got and use little money at all like tools most of mine are people have giving me over the years and the local car boot sale. Great video Take care
Greetings from Johannesburg, South Africa. Loving your videos and your down to earth attitude when showing how you do things. Hope grumpy Stanley is doing OK 😊. Cheers
Recommend getting a gripper for your table saw mate they do different versions too , I have arthritis in my hands too gripper is a good thing when using a table saw
Absolutely loving these projects! And Stanley as well, of course! I wanted you to know that I start off my woodworking with a little Billy Yoga and it really does wonders for me! Keep up the wonderful videos!
Hi, there was part of that video where I didn’t / forgot to switch the vacuum on. Also the mitre saw it terrible when it comes to dust etc. As I progress the area where I’m working I’ll b doing more about this it’s something already on my radar.. Thank you for the concern 👌🛠️

@@thewoodjunki what would you consider “better videos”?
@@jeremiahbell7496 just maybe better camera setup and possibly talking while I’m making the items.

Adding to my comment below, maybe it is possible to get straw from some pet shop, and kids farm animals? Thinking aloud here.
Definitely 👌🛠️
Do you have your vacuum going. If so something needs to be adjusted. I see lots of dust. Protect your lungs.
