Here's an in-depth chat video on how we planned this adventure! ua-cam.com/video/akPuU3IPvLw/v-deo.htmlsi=eFdtzR-H01ZXnBvi
And a fun bonus surprise at the end!? Nice!
Lmao!!! 😂
Thanks for putting it all into one episode. Really felt like I was along for the ride! Looked like a lot of fun and a great way to get away from it all(was very happy to watch it all again) Thank you for all the work and effort you put into all these episodes. Merry Christmas to you and everyone else out here enjoying this!
Loved all 3 episodes of this
Thanks very much! Yeah we just finished watching it. Thats my first time watching the whole thing start to finish.
Best trip of 2023!! Hey 2024, what's next?! 😁
Awesome again! Camp breakdown still has me laughing!
LMAO 😂MERRY XMAS BOYZ!
Merry Christmas Canada Mike!
This is excellent Jason, Chris, and Nate. I can really appreciate the amount of work that goes into making a video like this. I especially enjoyed the shenanigans at the end LOL
Really appreciate it Ben! Worked on it full time for 6 weeks. I hope it does well in the long run. Either way it's a personal accomplishment. I've never put together something that big before. I hope the future is full of videos like this. Although I'd likely release smaller episodes... and then wait like 6-12 months before releasing a "movie" of an entire adventure next time. Also, couldn't have done it without all the guys wanting to do it. They made this process very fun.
I have avoided watching any WABDR videos at all, I want to go into it on my ADV bike blind and do it first try making an epic video. I'm glad I'm watching your video now. It's so cool!!! Summer 2024, WABDR all the way on a motorcycle, living off the land as much as possible. Let's go!
Also... not sure a video can handle 2 Jar Jar's... 😂👏🤝 how about Donald Duck? Hahahaha! Let's GOOOOOOOOO!!!
Great video fellas! Loved all the challenges. Hey Jason, the pig looking treat you picked up at the IDR is called a marranito 🐖 it’s a Mexican gingerbread known otherwise as pan dulce or candy bread!
Excellent adventure! Thanks to all of you for including us wishful travelers. Ohio is a long way from eastern Oregon but it is now on my bucket list. Thanks!
What a great video, it is one of the best I've seen in awhile... Looks like you all had a great time. You do know that you will have to do another one right? LOL
Thanks!
Thanks Terry!
Cinnamon bears hands down the best traveling food!!
Strong agree!!
Great movie! The family just watched it in its entirety & my kids now see why I want to do the WABDR. Currently working on a '98 Ford Ranger 4wd to accomplish the mission. Definitely looks best done with good friends. Keep up the great content! ❤
Nice! Yeah a Ranger with good tires should have no issue. And yes, with buddies is the way to go!
@@JasonExplainsThings it's encouraging to see Sarge on 32"s do so well.
What a fun movie to watch. I know it takes a lot of work to put one of these together. You've earned a subscriber. Cheers!
Thanks my friend! Yeah that was 6 weeks of editing. 😅
Looks like you guys had such a great time. I need to do this someday myself.
Call some buddies and mark some time on the calendar! We're doing the same chat right now to plan either Oregon or Idaho. Planning it way in advance makes it much more doable.
Nice
Go Cougs!!!
This was fantastic!! Just found your channel!! I also have the army green '22 Tacoma Off Road. Spent this year gathering camping and camera equipment. Hopefully will be able to hit some trails this summer!!
Really appreciate you checking us out! If you can please share this video. It was 6 weeks of solid work and isn’t getting much exposure.
Holy cow, how did I miss this? I went a little bit ham on my phone notifications and I might have to do a bit of tweaking.
No worries Wade! Enjoy! There’s bloopers at the end. 😬
Love this vid! Get a snorkel
💯
One of the best videos iv seen. 👍 The WABDR is on my bucket list Thanks for sharing. Do you think a stock AWD SUV can make the whole thing?
Hey Chris, I'd say a stock 4Runner, Jeep Wrangler, Bronco wouldn't have a problem... doing it in the late summer. Earlier than that it gets tricky. I personally got stuck and had to winch myself out of a hole doing part of Section 2 in May. I'd be concerned about doing the WABDR in crossovers like a Rav4, Subaru Outback, Honda CRV or something like that. Although any car can do Section 1. That's just a pretty drive in the woods.
I can join yall if yall do Colorado next time!
Colorado would be a good time!
Saw ur video when you got the ko2 on sarge. They working out pretty good? Im in the market for some tires for my truck.
Great video by the way! Gonna try the bdr this coming year.
Yes. I personally love KO2s. Another great option is Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. I just put those on the 4Runner because we decided to go up in size.
I'd think that montana could have a really cool one or a really boring one depending on what side of the state you're on.
Definitely
very nicely done Jason. I just got an army green Tacoma as well, I love your setup, mind to share the suspension and tire size you have? Thanks!
Sorry I saw this late! Tires are 265/70/17. Suspension is Bilstein 6112 with Eibach 650 lb springs. Rear is Bilstein 5110 with OME medium duty leafs. I filmed a video about it a LONG time ago and still need to edit it
Oh, and Sumo Spring bump stops front and rear.
So basically more people trust their Tacoma’s more than Chevy and Jeep…, Smart guys… I too own a TRD Off Road, double cab, long bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs.
Btw we live in the mountains between Cashmere and Dryden, Cashmere address
First haha
How does Chris get all his patches to dtay on the roof??
From Chris: You gotta massage it in there. Up, down, left, right, then diagonal. Cardinal then secondary directions. Then a clockwise rotational push to finish it up.
@@JasonExplainsThings hahahaha ok, I wanted tos tart doing this but I cannot for the life of me get my patch to stick to my gmc canyon headliner
Nice
